I studied that stuff when I was young and went to Catholic study classes, but Im not religious any more and havent been since I was 15 years old. Ive seen other prophecies such as this in other religions as well including Buddhism in great detail.
Im not into knocking anyones religion though, we are all in this together.

According to Invalid Link Removed filed last year and analyzed by the Center for Responsive Politics, at least 268 members of the House of Representatives and the Senate had an average net worth of $1 million or more in 2012. This marks the first time in history that the majority of the United States' lawmakers have fortunes totaling more than $1 million.
The data, filed in May last year for the 530 members of Congress at the time, put their median net worth at $1,008,767, an increase on the previous year's figure of $966,000. The party also comes out slightly ahead of their Republican counterparts when comparing Congressional members' net median income: the former are valued at a median of $1.04 million, while the latter reported median personal wealth of almost exactly $1 million. But the Democratic party also contained the only group to note a drop in wealth: the median net worth of party members in the Senate dipped, likely due to John Kerry's new position as Secretary of State, and the death of Senator Frank Lautenberg - worth a reported $87.5 million.
As their personal fortunes rise, Congressional members are beginning to invest again. Real estate remains the most popular market, with the combined investment between $442.2 million and $1.4 billion. General Electric is the most popular company for Congressional investment, with 74 members pumping cash into the massive corporation.

Obama has officially announced plans to trash the Constitution and move forward with a socialist-corporatist dictatorship without input from Congress or the American people. He made the announcement Tuesday during a cabinet meeting.
“We’re not just going to be waiting for legislation in order to make sure that we’re providing Americans the kind of help they need. I’ve got a pen and I’ve got a phone,” Obama said.
“And I can use that pen to sign executive orders and take executive actions and administrative actions that move the ball forward in helping to make sure our kids are getting the best education possible, making sure that our businesses are getting the kind of support and help they need to grow and advance, to make sure that people are getting the skills that they need to get those jobs that our businesses are creating.”
Article I Section I of the Constitution clearly states all legislative powers reside with Congress. The founders were inspired by the writings of Montesquieu and insisted on three separate branches of government and instituted a system of checks and balances to prevent tyranny. “There can be no liberty where the legislative and executive powers are united in the same person,” Montesquieu wrote.
James Madison, writing in Federalist 46, warned that consolidated power at the executive level is the very definition of tyranny. “The accumulation of all power, legislative, executive, and judiciary in the same hands… may justly be pronounced the very definition of tyranny.”
George Washington signed the first executive order proclaiming a national day of thanksgiving in 1789. Since that time, the Supreme Court has ruled executive orders may not be used to make law, only execute laws passed by Congress. From Woodrow Wilson and Franklin Roosevelt onward, however, presidents have signed a large number of increasingly audacious and unconstitutional executive orders.

Republicans, looking for partisan ammo to attack a Democrat president, will undoubtedly criticize Obama’s latest constitutional affront. Executive orders and the gradual evolvement of the imperial presidency is not limited to Democrats, however.
“Both Republicans and Democrats are fond of referring to the ‘imperial presidency’ when someone from the opposite party is in the White House,” explains Invalid Link Removed. “Yet both parties have acted to protect and strengthen the presidency when it was to their advantage.”

Here I am getting all my stuff together so I can write the IRS a check just because I was productive with my life. I can have it the other way around and make my situation to where I would qualify for welfare and get rewarded for being lazy, but for some reason deep down inside I prefer to have it the other way around.
I almost wanna tell people Im a self proprietor, but usually I just tell them the honest truth which is that I work for the goverment.

Have you ever read any of the You are Not So Smart blog or book? It's a collection of how people's minds talk them into stuff that doesn't make any sense, but they think it does. Things like the Texas Sharpshooter Fallacy, Confirmation Bias, Availability Heuristic, etc. These are the types of things fear peddlers like AJ use to make big bucks. And none of it is new. Nostradmus, Kennedy Lincoln comparisons, we can setup anything we really want to believe.
I use Alex because you quote him so often and he shows exactly how these type of people have always made a profit. Fear has and always will be a big seller. Glenn Beck would not have had a popular radio program if he talked about how good things were. Mark Levin doesn't talk about positive developments. The left has their share of people like this as well.
Now these types of conspiracies aren't new and they were never uncommon. It's just EASIER than ever to use them. Photoshop, just finding "some witness", etc. Nothing needs to be done too clearly to convince people who WANT to believe.

I'd believe things were occasionally an inside job more often if the fear peddlers didn't say EVERYTHING is an inside job. That doesn't make any goddamn sense. This is the same reaction I got in China when I was caught up in a major snowstorm in Beijing back in 2009. I was telling my family that my english news was reporting that it was a major snowstorm created by the Chinese government. They all were rolling their eyes until they turned the TV on and the Chinese goverment was admitting it was their mistake, lol

Can you figure out why Mitt Romney did not make it more known that President Obama was using weather modifications to create a super storm so he could look good helping out people? I imagine many Americans would be sickened to know the President caused a destructive storm on purpose so he could win votes.

Again, Occam's Razor is never a thought to AJ. Why does everything in here have to assume the most complicated and amazingly connected position? It would be one thing if it was just something happening now and then. Yet conspiracy theorists find that in EVERYTHING that happens.
Rationally that doesn't make sense. It doesn't make sense at all. I think deep down you know this even on some of the stuff you post.

I'm not even pro government on most stuff, I just can't believe some of the stuff people can actually propose as plausible. I'll step out yet again!
Why would it not be plausible? It was radical to institute the income tax in the first place. Now its radical to abolish it?
We have to start somewhere....we have things setting in place, for example...my social security statement this year states on the front cover that the system is in trouble and by 2036 people will only get .76 cents to the dollar, and its going to downfall greatly from there on unless big changes take place right away. We should support a system to phase it out, and compensate the people who payed into it.
Also, if we continue the Ron Paul momentum (it should be about the movement, not the man) we can easily budget out all that is spent on income taxes and make a phase out of it work....this of course relies on building the support system for the Campaign for Liberty as well as others.
