Tomatidine (potent natural anabolic?)

I think you had to PM Jake from Antaeus a while back during the discussions on this thread. The batch was small and experimental. There is 150 mg of tomatidine per capsule....3 times the amount that is in the original Titan capsule (which is 50 mg).

I really look forward to your run Danes. I will do this differently...as indicated I will take 2 Titan+ a day (so 300 mg tomatidine a day) with 4 caps of HH6 (standard recommended dosage) because I only have data with the combo....and I'm interested if more tomatidine really does anything

Nice, what is the shilajit content now, and will you be keeping log on seperate thread or this one?

I think Jake indicated the shilajit amount is the same as normal Titan; Antaeus added extra tomatidine via cyclodextrin (similar to how they have Ursolic acid in HH6). Maybe Jake can chime in again.

I think I will keep my experience in this thread. And I won't be overly detailed....not my style.

Took the 1st capsule this morning. All with 150 mg Tomatidine in all its glory. Added my standard 2 caps of HH6. The ride is beginning.

When I ran Titan (containing Tomatidine) i stacked it with Hydra Head 6. I really enjoyed strength increase,size, musclefullness and recovery from the stack.(i was eating at maintenance but gained weight/size and my friends,girlfriend said I looked more swolen and bigger) But I really cant say which product did what etc.
I am going to run high dose Tomatidine soon (Solo) and will write here my own experience with the compound :)

WAY WAY too early my friend.

For natural supplements especially, I strongly believe REAL noticeable effects appear AFTER at least a month of usage of most things. This is why I wanted 3 months worth for this trial....that should be enough time to truly evaluate a specific protocol.

But for what it is worth, I (and Danes, etc) have posted on this thread and another (it was someones Titan log, I can try to find that thread and link....or you can search the log forums for "Titan") regarding our experiences with Titan. For me, Titan (with HH6) was different enough of an experience almost from the get go to keep me on it (I have not cycled off of standard recommended dosages since I started several several weeks ago) and the sole reason WHY I wanted to test the higher dosage waters.

On that original run (which was still going til this Saturday, when I "upped" the dosage so to speak by taking a couple Titan+ capsules....overall 3 times the standard amount of Tomatidine), I felt Titan + HH6 almost right away (right away = within a couple of weeks....not earlier)....which is HIGHLY unusual for any supplement I have tried. So unusual, I seriously sort of implied that Antaeus spiked their product with something other than Tomatidine. I am a former steroid user...a pretty experienced one.....so I KNOW what feeling "on" feels like. Titan + HH6 was the 1st and ONLY supplement stack that had a familiar feel to it. BUT, everyone's mileage will vary. My experience could have been due to previous steroid induced muscle "re-awakening"....I stopped all anabolic usage in 2008 but have been highly successful since cessation in keeping most of the gains via continued intelligent training, diet, and lifestyle. Emphasize that word "most", because there were definite losses...just not as severe as you read on other horror stories of "coming off".

I have to say also that I believe with every supplement or drug there is a point of diminishing returns....and one has to cycle off and start again, or up the dosage. I believe to make additional gains for each "cycle", something HAS to change since the last one, and that means either diet, training, or drugs/supplement. My experience with the Titan + HH6 combo indicated that the initial "gains" dried up around the 8th week...after which staying with the same recommended dosage past that time (which I have....as I mentioned, I have never cycled off) did not result in anything "more".

So, I'm sort of hoping by upping the Tomatidine dosage, there will be a return to noticing something different. Again, these things take time, and I don't really want to report "everyday" so to speak if nothing really has happened yet. Even if something does, I want to note it for myself and monitor it over a few days after to make sure it wasn't some placebo effect or analyze if I did anything different with diet, training, sleep, stresses, etc. No one wants to read about placebo effects, lol.

I am very amazed how good Titan And HH6 stack worked for me..without changing diet or workout routine, I added size. I began to feel something was going on when my winter jackets began to feel tight (shoulders,arms and back). Even better when my girlfriend began to comment the size (even she is used to see me naked every day)..my friends also gave me comment for the size. I looked more swolen etc.

Is Titan+ Available for purchase still? Or just for the current loggers?
 
Yeah, pretty expensive...

Yes, it isn't cheap....even the batch AL are letting some of us try is basically at their cost. If they ever decide to make this available on their site (depending on demand methinks), I'm quite certain it will be more expensive than what I paid for it.

Given some responses on these threads though, not sure if the demand for this would be high enough to warrant AL making this if the price is viewed as being too expensive.

But I don't think it will be $210.

at the regular dose that is out for sale now, does titan stand alone or are there other products[ingredients]that compare in results?

I wish I could answer your question.
I ran Titan with Hydra Head 6 and had amazing results. Size,strength,recovery ++. As I stated earlier, it was fun to get comments about my size from friends and my girlfriend. I didnt change workout routine or diet.

I havent lost size but I do admit my strength is not the same without it. I have lost little bit strength. But the size is there :)
 
As indicated, I never came off of Titan+HH6...I also indicated that for me, I did not notice anything more after 8 weeks.

And frankly, I couldn't tell what product was the real kicker do to speak because I did both st the sane time. I really think HH6 may have carried more if the results load than I was thinking....so this run with higher dosed tomatidine will tell me at least what amount Titan contributed.

I just finished one bottle.. long story short, Used two dose, one at lunch and one evening meal.. Overall did not feel anything, maybe a small strenght increase on leg day. Rest pretty much same. Or placebo effect.

I didnt take with hydra maybe i try this next. I have a feeling the higher dosage version will provide more effect..

It will be interesting to try higher dose sivh as 500-600mg daily. Will post short reviews/updates here.

1. Already had been using a combination of Titan and HH6 at recommended dosages for many weeks (months). No other supplements, drugs, ancilliaries have been used other than: casein/whey protein mix, creatine, pepto-pro + cyclic dextrin during peri-workout window.

2. Eating maintenance to lower than maintenance diet. I am very experienced with nutrition and training for my body....knowledge gained via years (decades) of pursuing physique improvement and taking meticulous notes. I do a lot of blood work, especially back in my anabolics usage years, and these data goes right into my notes. I have reams and reams of data from years (decades) back....even before the coming of computers and word processing! My very 1st entry into a training notebook is the 1st day I began training for bodybuilding at 13 years old using only body weight movements (no gym membership at that time, no weights)...and it is a treasure going through though early notes and seeing how I "grew" both physically and mentally after all these years! : ) Sorry....I did not do any specific blood work prior to my Titan+HH6 run and am not really doing any now other than basic health related ones. Needless to say, there has been no changes to recent health check blood work for years....I'm as healthy as can be.

3. I train primarily bodybuilding style, meaning my goals are to "feel", "squeeze", and "isolate" the target muscles during both compound and isolation movements. Each bod ypart is trained twice a week. Primary compound movements consisting of bench pressing, rowing, squatting, dead lifting, and overhead pressing are done twice a week. This being said, my rep ranges are more in the 4-6 range per working set as this works much better for me than higher rep ranges per experience. This just demonstrates a difference in my genetic makeup than some people who respond better to higher reps, lighter weight.

High Dose Titan experiment:

1. 2 capsules of Titan+ per day....one in the morning, one in the evening. Total tomatidine daily intake: 300 mg
2. 4 capsules of HH6 per day....2 in the morning, two in the evening.
3. Date started: Saturday, April 22, 2017
4. Today's date: Sunday, May 7, 2017. So exactly 2 weeks since protocol started.
5. Experiment run: 3 months.

2 week experiment observations:

I have indicated I do NOT like reporting immediately after trying a protocol....this is because initial response, feeling, etc are VERY placebo based, and I have learned for myself that my excitement over something can sometimes skew my perception. I like to give things at least a week....more like TWO weeks...before I review my notes and data logs. Just a note: even with anabolics, you really don't notice anything sometimes for a week or two. Of course...ha ha ha....that IS dosage and compound dependant. : )

My memory and notes have the following now placebo/excitement filtered data observations:

1. Using Titan+ instead Titan in this protocol has definitely resulted in more fullness. Whether this is due to water weight gain, better nutrient partitioning into muscle versus fat....hard to tell. Only a DEXA scan (which I probably should have done a before and after with this....problem is these scans (alot of body composition methods in general) are so dependent upon the technician) would be able to really tell. In lieu of that, I gotta go with the way clothes fit, weight scale, measurements (which I find can also be WAY off depending on whether you are a little pumped or whether you are flat....things we all go through during a day), mirror look, and spouse/friends look.
A. Clothes fit tighter in shoulders, chest, arms, thighs....waist area the same.
B. I am roughly 1.5 lbs. heavier in the morning (no breakfast, daily "eliminations" completed, no clothes) consistently
C. My measurements are a bit greater than initial....but they are within the "margin of error" so this is not very reliable.
D. I do indeed look fuller in the mirror
E. Spouse thinks I look "tighter"...so the fullness is not subcutaious water at least (as far as she and I can tell). I'm so lucky I have a spouse who understands my narcicism!! lol

2. My strength has NOT gone up. My initial strength increases when I started Titan+HH6 have tapered awhile ago....and adding in more tomatidine via Titan+ has not changed that, disappointedly. I have a feeling this probably needed to be cycled...I might have sensitized to this combo and probably should have "cleaned out" so to speak before taking this experiment up.

3. My appetite has increased a bit, but I'm not increasing my caloric intake....yet. Tomatidine might work better with greater calories...i.e. more of a bulking compound versus a cutting one (I hate these descriptions). It is interesting to note my slight weight gain however and the general tightness and fullness I'm feeling....so nutrient partitioner might be a good description early in the game here.

What else would you like to know? Note my reporting style: as unsatisfying as it might be for you specific data and number warriors, I will not report those. I am already rather "gun shy" on the internet (no Facebook, no nothing....I am like John Connor from the Terminator; staying off the grid as best I can). Apologies for that if it bugs you.

Danes....not to be picky....but each cap is 150 mg Tomatidine, right? Or, is 50 mg is shilajit + cyclodextrin component which leaves 100 mg pure tomatidine substance per capsule? If this is the case, then I'm only taking 200 mg Tomatidine!

No, each cap is:
100mg Tomatidine and 100mg Shilajit.
So if you are taking 2 caps, thats just 200mg Tomatidine.
Does your bottle also contain 90 caps ?
