Shabby workout. Wasted my Powermax. Working the 2 day of my 48 hour shift, and we couldn't go to the gym. Took my Powermax(best fricken tasting PWO EVER)and 2 Epidrone and 40 minutes later we had to run a wreck. Killed my mojo. But had a police officer buddy ask me to do something with him so this is what I was able to accomplish.

We're going to work on your dead lifting cues, it'll make your pulls less lower back centric.

Do you think your body wasn't primed for the 405? I like to do singles of a lighter weight, 30-50 pounds less than my working set. Doesn't take that much energy and I feel better for the heavier weight.

Its possible. I had done all the other lifts and honestly had no prior intentions on even trying the 405. Just kind of felt like" hmm, lets try this". I really shouldnt have even tried, my knees were/are feeling like they have fluid build up. Imagine squeezing a water balloon and forcing all he water to one side before it pops. Thats how my knees are feeling when I bend them, and how they were yesterday. No excuses. I just need to continue working on it.

But you also need to continue working, which is tough with a blown out knee. Be careful man, you ain't no young pup anymore!

I know brother. And for the first time, Ive really started to not only accept it, but be proud of it. Like thebigt said, I got to grow up in a much better time,and been through a lot. I have the stories, injuries and scars to show for it. Im also finding myself happily doing things that I couldnt do in my younger days, in AND out of the gym! But I know I will be taking some time off from squats until the pressure eases. I have upper body PRs to crush!!
 
Watch your knees bud. I haven't squatted in a month and I still don't feel comfortable squatting again. I would be so sad if I couldn't train legs....haha

I know. Im going to stay off of them for a bit and see how they do. It doesn't hurt, its just pressure. Probably too much racquetball.

Nice workout man! I'm using PowerMax XT with epidrone as well. And androcrine. Loving it.

I am really liking the combo of the Epidrone and Powermax XT. I already ran 2 bottles of Androcrine so im laying off of it for a bit, and can tell. Joints are starting to hate me again.
 
Update for the PowerMax.....Just got done washing and waxing my Titan(who would've thought I drive a Titan?). Anyway, definitely got a h3ll of a pump in the biceps right now, and a little extra on the shoulders!! NYCE!!!
