Time to MonteGROW like a Finaflex Freak!

No doubt leaning up, how is the strength holding up? Always better after the carb meal no doubt!

Strength is holding steady. I haven't been logging my workouts lately but the weights are the same across the board. So far I'm liking what is Goin on.

Going to continue to try to tighten my Lower stomach. There is a LOT of skin there but the cardio seems to be helping some. I've got veins above my dik to my lower abs where the skin starts at, so maybe it will go away. I keep harping on this and I know I've been told it's probably going to take surgery but I'm gonna see what really low bf numbers can do. Can't be stepping on stage with a skin fold though.....

Getting shredded dude!

Great attitude buddy. It may not totally go away but I'm sure it will turn better than one would think. My skin tightened up way more than I anticipated. You look great man

Yeah it will tighten up more than you think. Just look at how much Dougs tightened up for his show. Plus a lot of the guys on the stage have some loose skin and several of them use research grade thiomucase to tighten it up a couple days before the show. Once you are in the sub 5% range even what is there is so paper thin it is not really of any consequence. I know hard to believe man but it is true!

I hope you get that gone, I have a similar issue. Although I think mine is a bit more pronounced.

Unscheduled off day. Got in bed around 3am after cardio g8 and bcaa+saa. Slept until 11 way past my normal wake up time. Body is talking to me and it's not happy with my amount of sleep lately lol. Tomorrow should be good though. Legs and arms to keep on schedule.

Was getting off an engine at wirk last night and tweaked my right knee (surgically repaired) pretty bad. It's extra swollen this morning so I'll see what happens. Iced it a lot but the swelling is still there.

Sounds like everyday is chest day now.
Stay off of it as much as possible, ice and heat in rotation, chomp on some anti-inflammatories. Hope it heals up McLimpy.

Yeah ibuprofen in abundance. Not much heat will be applied since I'll be at work but the ice shall flow like the salmon of Capistrano.

2400mg maximum daily dose.
800mg with Breakfast, Lunch, and dinner.
Even if you don't have pain, motrin has a therapeutic and cumulative effect, preventing pain and repairing damaged tissue. A non-steroidal Anti-inflammatory Drug, Motrin will reduce inflammation and relieve pain more than many people think. Taking less than 2400mg a day takes away from the benefit, as this is the clinical dose for maximum efficiency. Taking more than 2400 mg would put undue stress on the liver and kidneys and would provide no additional benefit.
One thing to note, NSAIDS will inhibit bone from healing from a surgical repair. Stress fractures are okay to treat with NSAIDS, but any hardware placed into the bone, NO NSAIDS during the healing timeframe. Tramadol, percocet, acetaminophen would be the ideal pain relief.

Andrew knows his sh*t... he's an army medic Monte.

He's the exception to the rule, most medics don't know Jack.

Although, he's A NCO as well, I have seen some very competent medics that were E-5 or higher. (Although, still a lot that don't know ****)

Sadly I agree with this. And I have known E6's and E7's to be completely void of any relevant medical knowledge. I wonder how in the Fuk they got that rank.

Just found out today that I am going to be medical boarded for my hips. Not to worry, going straight to PA school.

Looking good in that shirt. The wife and I love ours.

Hope that knee heels up quickly!

Knee problems suck....bigtime...hope yours heals quicker than mine.

We baldies make this shirt look good:)

Carb meal last night. Woke up two lbs lighter today. Sweet

isn't that odd when it happens like that?
you know the diet is still working, when that transpires

Working wonderfully. The increased meal frequency keeps the hunger at bay very nicely. Four meals a day that I was taking in with more calories even didn't keep me this satiated. Very very excited.

Metabolism must be trucking right along, good for you Monte! How is your knee today?

The knee was surprisingly good. Worked up to 360 on Cybex squat machine. Four sets of 315 on hacks. Four sets of sldl then some calves and called it quits. Didn't hit extensions or curls but for a good session in none the less.

Glad to hear your knee is better Monte.. that is awesome about the carb up and down on the scale. How many meals are you taking in now?
