Time off

I'm taking a few days off from the gym. I was doing a 3 day split, but my shoulder has been hurting so I'm taking a few days off. How much time can one take off before you start losing muscle. Also, will an epistane cycle do anything for my shoulder. I'm pretty sure its not a tear, it only hurts on pushing exercises, incline bench is the worst. Any suggs.....Thanks guys.
Also, I'm at 290 now and looking kinda lean...hoping the estane cycle helps with the bf as well.

Time off is not going to hurt you. In fact, it will probably do you more good, especially if you have an injury. And you're not going to lose muscle so long as your nutrition is at or above Maintenance.

Eventually you'd start to lose muscle regardless of how good your diet was, but not after a week considering your diet is where it should be. Like she said, keep your daily calories at least at your maintenance level and you probably won't lose much if anything. Keep your protein intake high, as if you were lifting.

Just eat as if you were still lifting.
