For those that don’t follow my video log I thought it was time to do a quick summary of my training as of late as well as thoughts on the USP Labs products I’m using.
Away from the Gym
Fist off this last month I was the main witness in a civil trial defending my employer. It was a stressful time as this was an important trial with a lot riding on it. I found that USP Labs products helped me through this time even though it was obviously not lifting related. Normally under duress my strength and sleep levels suffer and this is where USP labs pulled through for me. In particular I found Powerful to be critical for me in getting good nights sleep and being mentally recharged to handle each day. And my strength levels did not suffer which is likely due to the whole USP Labs stack, however I do attribute a lot of that to the cortisol control of the Super Cissus.
On to Training
I’ve got a competition coming up in a few weeks and have been pushing myself hard. I’ve just finished the overload phase of my training and been amazed how I’ve pushed my body the last few weeks. With my aggressive training I have not felt the normal signs of overtraining that would kick in such as lethargy, motivation, and strength decreases. To give you an idea of my recent training, in the last 9 days I have:
• Worked up to a 600lb bench on 3 separate workouts
• Deadlifted 705 with 3 other attempts above the knees
• Squatted in the 800’s for reps
• And completed my overload phase with a 1000lb chain deloaded squat last night
As I’ve been training aggressively Pslin has been a big factor in fueling my workouts. And although I’m not bodybuilder lean I can ramp up the carbs for this type of training without putting on additional BF using Pslin and Anabolic Pump. I find this valuable as I don’t have to diet down later to make weight or for aesthetic reasons.
Upcoming meet
Really looking forward getting my body and mind prepped for this upcoming meet. I’ve started taking USP Labs test booster this last week and will be continuing to do so through to the meet. Stay Tuned for the feedback!
As for the meet I’ll be competing in the American Powerlifting Association in the “Open 242lb Drug Tested Class”. I will be looking to take back my World Squat Record and if I get all my lifts in will take the World Powerlifting Total Record as well.
Here is a couple Training Vids from this last week
