This is a hobby goddamn it!!!

The point of this thread is to basically remind you guys that, at least for majority of us, this is JUST a hobby. We do it cuz we love this ****, all aspects- liftings, dieting, injecting etc...but dont forget that most of us will never turn pro and thats ok.

I started using about 7 years ago, did about 5 cycles. I did my research and all of that and juiced "smart". However, I kind of got stuck in that mind set. My cycle wouldnt even be over, and i would be thinking about next cycle. I was smart enough (not addicted enough) to take time off inbetween cycles. However, after every cycle, it was less and less time off.

This **** aint healthy for you.....sure, we can lie to ourselves and say "alcohol is legal and much worse" or my favorite "aas never killed anyone". But thats bull**** justification. Using steroids DOES increase you chance of developing life threatening conditions such as heart disease (if anyone argues with this- you are an idiot)....sure we can do stuff to lower the risks, take your supports, control sides, do cardio, diet smarter etc....But just realize this **** aint healthy. Sure, some people are 40-50yo and look great and seem to be in good health. But will this be you?? Are you really willing to die "young" (under 50) over some gains?

Or worse....i dont know a single person dead from steroids. NOT ONE and trust me i know many users at many levels from college atheletes to long time TRT users and inbetween. I have seen heart attacks happen - infront of me. a 28yo kid had a stroke in my gym and is not left side paralyzed for over a year....and everybody i know that has used, me included, have got every single side effect possible at one point or another. Some get a few zits, some get full blown cystic acne. Some pull a muscle from not warming up, some tear off entire muscles/tendons cuz they got too strong too fast. Some get increase in blood pressure....others get heart attacks.

Dont get me wrong guys.... i fukn love this ****!!!! but hey, dont get carried away!! Im not here to blame steroids, I BLAME PEOPLE. Be ****ing smart guys, dont listen to some online ****. People that advocate these monsterous 5-6month cycles with many compounds and bridging with testosterone- dont do that. You will destroy your health...sure you may not die, but a heart attack at age 30? Becoming sterile and ruining your relationship with your wife? Getting dumb strong and tearing off your rotator cuff? All those are serious serious "events" that effect ALL parts of your life....and lets be honest, gym is only a small part of our lives.

Just be smart guys, most us aint gon turn pro/career out of this. Most of us juice to look/feel good AND THATS OK!!! But again be smart, juice smart NOT hard. Stick to the basic cycles, take your time off, and remember there are many parts to life that do not effect the gym BUT your juicing habits can and WILL effect all parts of your life.

I dont care for spelling.

I think you spoke through the mind of many of us here on AM. I think for the most part this site advocates moderation and safety. At least in comparison to other steroid forums. But always a good reminder and reality check to some people to hear stuff like this.

I shake my head daily at the lengths some go to in this hobby. I've had girlfriends that were knee deep into the culture and I just couldn't take it. I like to live life, not life out of tupperware. Huge difference in being healthy and being in shape per industry standards. I'd argue the pursuit of size/leanness is one of the most unhealthy things a person can do. I'm not a big frame guy and years ago I changed my focus to overall health and I couldn't be happier. Like most, I wish I was bigger/leaner, etc. However, I love the fact my blood work is about perfect and I'm in better health at 37 than I was at 27. Let people you know start dying around you due to things they had some control over, it's a wake up call for sure.

It's always funny listening to the rants of the young guys who get the "mortality awareness" wake up calls. They love to preach :D

They come a bit more frequently in your forties and then there's the ones in your fifties... ;)
