I am saying it is stupid then, it is stupid now. People have every right to be offended. But to differentiate right and wrong based on skin color is foolish and racist.

To say you can say something about a white person and not a black person is the same thing as saying a white person can use a bathroom and a black person cannot. Determining right and wrong should have no bearing on skin color and any assertion otherwise is the root of racism.

Now I get your argument is that historically there is a history and that complicates things. I am NOT saying it is right to call someone an ape or to discriminate on their skin color. But that is kind of the point. People are color blind when they talk about one thing but not black people and that is racist.

Not saying to ignore it. You just shouldn't base any decisions about how you treat that person, what is right or wrong, etc. based in the person's skin color. But your argument gets back to what I said about discrimination not being a bad thing in itself. Medical treatments based on scientific discriminations are useful. Insults and no job offers based on skin color discriminations are pretty stupid.

But it is human nature. I got on a bus in the south once...came up the stairs, turned around and looked up as everyone started screaming at me, "This is an F'ing black bus! Get off our bus!!!"

But I guess that was OK because my great great grandpappy wasn't a slave. Because that really mattered on that day.

yeah it goes both ways for sure. ive seen racism very upclose and personal and it definitely goes both ways, not just white people. Ive got serious issues with race that ive just plain forced myself to get over.
That's why you hear some people ask for a serious discussion about race. That's means everybody.

Yep. My post was also where it belonged - in the politics forum, where I would think talk like that would be fine. People get heated up about politics all the time and talk like that is never serious. It's just talk. But yes, I was banned for it and was told it was due to "violent threats". Like come on lol

Oh, the whole thread was a pile of insults thrown by everyone, for months on end - everyone was essentially trolling each other and just let it slide off each other's backs - cos we all enjoyed it and had fun with it. It was in the Trump thread, a flaming pile of rubbish of a thread lol.. if that was the case, everyone should have been banned. Oh well, not really complaining, just pointing out the political bias of this forum.

Must have been some serious posts. I have had heated discussions and having been band. But if you try to give away some SARMs!!!!!!!!! WATCHA!!!!!!
