I never read the watchmen, know they were a different style of hero. Looks promising.
I bought the compiled novel when I read about the upcoming movie, and was HIGHLY impressed with the depth and quality of both character development and psychological insight.
Great story, great approach, and hopefully a great movie.

the trailer looks pretty bad ass. that song is bad ass too thats played in the trailer. anyone know the name of it?
looks pretty good, but some might take a remixed version of the same smashing pumpkins song they used in batman forever as a really bad omen. Batman is supposed to be dark and gritty too, and we all know how that one turned out. (breaks out some glow sticks & candy necklaces and starts dancing cartoonishly while wearing a neoprene suit that sports some well defined nipples)

Alan Moore, the writer of renowned comic book Watchmen, has attacked director Zack Snyder for bringing his creation to the big screen. When asked by Entertainment Weekly if he was curious about Snyder's version of his story, he replied: "I would rather not know."
