Ample Hills The View is labeled as "chocolate marshmallow ice cream with ooey gooey butter cake pieces, brownies and crack cookies."

Invalid Link Removed

The Chocolate base is outstanding, and the marshmallow is present in each bite. The sweetness of the marshmallow corresponds with the milk chocolate perfectly to replicate a chocolate marshmallow milkshake,

Invalid Link Removed

Crack Cookies = Best AH Mix In
Brownies = Moist, Thick, and Delicious
Buttercake = Just like found in No Sleep Till Pumpkin or Ooey Gooey Buttercake.. Very dense, chewy, and tasty

3 Quality Mix-ins, I had a brownie that was almost 1" in diameter, and a great base. If you like a sweet chocolate (think milk chocolate with a kick of marshmallow) you are in for a treat. If you like dark chocolate, or do not enjoy marshmallows you may be turned off a bit by the base.

salted caramel almond another flavor to drop from B&J

Reviews on the 3 new flavors have been very mediocre and middle of the road for Oat of Swirled, Truffle Kerfluffle, Urban Bourbon

You would think at 300-340 kcals a pop they would pack some serious flavor. Seems to not be the case. Going to pass on them. People are claiming the salted ganache swirl is like a watered down fudge. The Oat of this swilred is no where near as good as oatmeal cookie chunk. The Urban Bourbon claims to have a weak booze flavor (Similar to salted caramel brownie ale), but doesn't offer too much more after that. ((Just from reading a lot of social media and instagram reviews)

Vanilla Bean Ice Cream with Roasted Almond Slivers, Fudge Flakes & a Salted Caramel Swirl

Saw all but the oatmeal yesterday in Denver at Safeway. Glad I didn't bother with them.

I'll still try the oatmeal regardless of reviews just cuz that my kind of flavor. Plus celeb/YouTube internet reviewers are idiots most of the time anyways and I never trust their bs since half get some kickback for their garbage.

Celeb reviewers on Social media? Most of the people I follow aren't named Junkbanter :) haha

These people actually purchase almost all their ice cream, not the people that get stuff donated to them (which B&J does not do). I agree those people you can only take with a grain of salt.

I love oatmeal, but I don't think it will hold a candel to OCC (RIP). God I wish B&J would bring back some of their older flavors that were fire... Candy Bar Pie, What a Cluster.. Dublin Mudslide.. etc

Pretty much anyone who formally reviews stuff all the time for a large audience I'm skeptical of ha

Thats the only way you will find legit reviews. Because its not like some random dude on IG is all of a sudden going to throw an ice cream review out the blue, and then go back to taking 100 selfies in the gym between sets.

Could say the same with comparing and reviewing supplements. Do you trust someone who has reviewed stuff for months/years or someone who does their first review and gives Optimum Amino Energy a 10/10.

Rather take someone who reviews a category more often, pays for the stuff out of their own pocket, and is 100% honesty.
But again everyone has their own taste buds and personal preferences.

I'm not talking about any social media ppl. I'm taking about people like some of the guys around here, many of who I've met in person, friends and family, etc. Those are the reviews I trust because I know they're not doing it with any agenda.

I'm not looking for someone doing their first review but someone who's opinion I actually trust based on conversation.

Same goes for supps. There's tons of guys on here who I know are totally full of crap and will give rave reviews to anything even if it does nothing, regardless of whether they pay themselves or not because I know that many of them get lots of freebies as well based on being a "good" (aka positive) reviewer...

Clementine is looking F'in Solid....

Company takes a lot of pride in using St Louis local ingredients crafted into their own ice cream.
Even better All of the milk Clementine use is from local, grass-fed, pasture-raised, hormone and RBST-free cows.
All of their recipes are developed from scratch. Starting with real, natural ingredients, they create every candy, cookie, cake, and sauce found in their ice cream.

Little G's Holiday Sugar Cookie:
Grade: B+

"Vanilla Bean Ice Cream with sugar cookie chunks, sprinkles & red and green buttercream frosting swirls."

Invalid Link Removed

The Vanilla bean is overpowered by the swirls of buttercream frosting (Red and Green). These help pack an extra sweetness to the base to bring it up a notch.

Invalid Link Removed

The sprinkles are everywhere, while they don't bring a ton of flavor the sugar cookie chunks (not cookies) really are the highlight. I am talking Graeter size chocolate chip pieces in size throughout the pint from top to bottom. After I broke the surface I probably ate 6-7 chewy, soft, moist, and delicious cookies.

I had a feeling this would be super sweet, but it was not. This should not turn people away that don't enjoy extra sweet things. I was pleased, but that base can use work and the swirls could of been much larger (as I saw in other pints) to give it a top tier grade.

Spoke to Grace today the owner of Little G's
she has 6 new flavors coming with a collaboration of a special cookie.
Flavor will include regular cookies and stuffed cookies in the upcoming pints. Have not got any more info yet.

Little G's Pecan Pie:
Grade: B+
Invalid Link Removed

"Vanilla bean ice cream with pecan pie chunks." The Vanilla Bean is a good base, nothing S&S or AH, or Graeters Quality. Still above Ben & Jerry's and other mainstream brands.

Invalid Link Removed

You get the aftertaste of a butter pie crust, and hints of molasses that are laced throughout a pecan pie. These are massive chunks as you dig deeper.
The pieces of the candied pecans have that perfect sugary aftertaste with a nice bite to everyone of them you get throughout the experience.

Invalid Link Removed

With a slight upgrade in the base this would put it as a top tier flavor off her entire line. The mix-ins were fantastic. The Chunks of pecan pie were the star of the show.

Little G's Sweet Potato Casserole
Invalid Link Removed
Grade: B+

While this was good I want to highlight some notes compared to Salt & Straw's replica.

Salt & Straw Wins:
- Stronger Sweet Potato Flavor in the base
- Much larger Marshmallow Swirl

Little G's Win:
- Many more Candied Pecans
- Stronger Nutmeg/Clove spices in the base

Overall Salt & Straw edges out Little G's because of a stronger sweet potato flavor, and having a swirl that is consistent from top to bottom. Both are good, but S&S has the notch with quality and consistency of mix-ins.

Little G's Chocolate Peanut Butter Pretzel:
Grade: A+

Invalid Link Removed

Vanilla Bean ice cream with chocolate covered pretzels & a peanut butter swirl

Invalid Link Removed

The amount of pretzels I got in this pint was ludicrous. If you love chocolate covered pretzels and peanut butter. Guess what? Match made in heaven. The pretzels still had a nice crunch to them with a milk chocolate outer layer that had a dense chocolate flavor to them.

Invalid Link Removed

What set this pint off was the PB Swirl. I should rename it PB Chunks. I started to think the base was peanut butter based I was eating globs of PB. This reminded me of my experience with HD PB Pie and how much PB was included. When Grace hits her swirls. It is Game on. The PB has saltiness that comes in the aftertaste with the bold flavoring of peanut butter as the initial taste.

Chocolate and Peanut Butter? The old fashioned american favorite combination.

Little G's Gingerbread Man:
Grade: B-
Invalid Link Removed

Brown sugar cinnamon ice cream with gingerbread cookie pieces & Cream cheese frosting swirl

Invalid Link Removed

The Brown Sugar Cinnamon base is hands down the best I have had from Grace yet. Full of flavor, dense, and packs a punch.

Invalid Link Removed

Gingerbread cookie pieces were moist, very chewy, and had a ton of richness with a molasses aftertaste. The only big downside is yet another pint where I got no swirl. I have had 4 pints with virtually no swirl that was labeled on the pint.

Grace recently got a machine to help with swirl consistency from batch to batch since she does everything by hand. Some pints I get globs for a swirl, and some I get jipped which can happen with hand packing everything as there can be inconsistency.

With the swirl in there this could of been one of her top flavor as the mix-ins and base were phenomenal.

For those who enjoy/want the low cal ice creams there's a few new options from arctic zero and enlightened:
Invalid Link Removed Invalid Link Removed

I picked one flavor of each

arctic pb which upon an initial taste test is just ok... still one of the better flavors from them tho (consistency still sucks tho). As I dig deeper it looks like there will be more pb and white choc chips tho so it could improve.

Enlightened bday cake is booommbbbb. Literally filled with sprinkles, good consistency, and super sweet, cake flavor. Best bday cake flavor I've had. Even beats out the b&j cake I have in my fridge too and for 1/4 the cals

Man, I wish somewhere around here had Enlightened so I could try it just to see. Those look nice!

I still can't bring myself to go back to trying Arctic Zero after how horrible the 2 pints I tried were LOL.

yeah i havent really liked any of the AZ, but wne theyre only $3 theyre worth a crack.'

The enlightened have been UNBELIEVABLE. literally every flavor has been amazing, full of mix ins, and the consistency/creaminess is just unreal. I dont know how they do it but I could live on these and never even miss "real" ice cream. Some are frankly better than regular ice creams (bday cake/caramel oatmeal cookie specifically). I will be working my way through the lineup asap and keep reporting back

New Little G's Flavors Tomorrow

She was going to do cookie based flavors based off a collaboration. That is pushed back to May. So these new flavors will be on Goldbely until those new cookie flavors in May.

Going to hold off until we see some reviews.

These look interesting, but the reviews on all the new B&J Flavors have been mediocre at best

if they load up on the mix ins and can keep them crispy then these could be really good. definitnely will try at least one of them

B & J's best mix in are their brownies due to being soured from Greyston bakery

They discontinued oatmeal cookie chunk one of their best pints ever because they did not want to pay for the cookies and were looking for a cheaper route. Since they did not want to tarnish the quality they threw it in the junkyard

They need to bring back what cluster & candy bar pie
