Sometimes I am skeptical on lower calorie ice creams
Scooped New Orleans Rum Raisin and was blown away for 140kcals/serving.
Get the review up tonight. Had almost 2-3 dozen raisins packed inside the pint.
 
Coming soon to online retailers and in stores (mostly just around New Orleans ATM)

Po-Boy sandwiches in Creole Cream Cheese & Vanilla

Should be online for sale within a month and in more stores around the southern area in 2-3 months

Overall I had skeptical hopes as I do with most low caloric based ice creams. This pint is 140 calories per serving. The only other time I was blown away by a low calorie ice cream was Gelato Fiasco's Dark Chocolate Sea Salt Caramel, but needless to say this lived up to its name and was fantastic. A solid base that has a strong flavor, plenty of mix-ins, and a nice hint of cayenne. While the uniqueness of this pint may have won me over, this may be hit or miss for other individuals. I would re-scoop this in a heartbeat.

I had 3 business trips to NO last year and this year nada :(. I need to get down there for this!
 
They will be available for online purchase bud. I talked to their owner Adrian today, don't know if stores in US ship to Canada, but they should with Dry ice it should hold.

My assumption is always no shipping across the border for perishables.

The dry ice may hold for a pint, but likely not sandwiches. Also there may be border restrictions that make infeasible or impractical due to price.

I smashed that pint on Saturday ... thoroughly enjoyed it! Very thick and rich. I would agree with Bob's review on ICI, maybe even an A-.
The only drawbacks are the lack of mix-ins and the price.

Price is not a factor when you can get it in columbus

Buddy that lives there is grabbing me a pint of the new Graeters Seasonal flavor = WINNING
While there is no mix-ins, the base is FIRE! would rescoop!

Did you not read my post? I was talking about the price of Gelato Fiasco. ;)

Forget travelling to Canada. What about other countries? No desire to go to Europe or Caribbean ?

I mean I know it's scooped on top of warm desserts sometimes but that's more for a hot & cold combo.

Some people are just different. I personally enjoy mine right out of the freezer and right out of the pint
I Cry when it starts to melt.

haha na, refeed day is saturday... Somehow my weight manged to jump 12lb yesterday though ha... Maybe it was my brain growing

Have you tried the Jenis Bangkok Peanut?? It has a pb taste up front and the spice kicks in after a few seconds, really unique and very tasty.

This is a great choice IMO. Btw, FU The Solution - super jelly. The mascarpone would have also been one I would choose.

These flavors got the best reviews and the sriracha peanut you cannot get in stores or it's the aims butter chocolate chunk I forget

Nick from OSS told me about the limited flavor and the shipping was only 14$ and a coupon for ordering

Pretty good considering the deal

The truffles are massive in the raspberry

Thats not for ice cream source buddy. thats from foody direct, it is applied when you order for the shipping reduction if you live on east coast.
 
Talenti Oatmeal Raisin Cookie Gelato

Overall its a good pint, but its nothing to go nuts over. Oatmeal Cookie Chunk if it were still out reigns supreme over this one by a margin. The base is good do not get me wrong, it just has a stronger cinnamon and brown sugar taste to it as the oatmeal cookie flavoring of the gelato fades. The raisins were a bit of a let down, but the oatmeal cookie chunks made up for it in the end. Would I Re-Scoop? Possibly, but Salted Peanut Caramel was better. I have yet to try Hazelnut Chocolate Chip which gets the most rave of the new flavors.

Grade: B-

^^^You tried the cotton candy or the PB pretzel before? I recall The Solution saying the CC sucked but I'd still try it out of curiosity.

It has been in my Walmart for almost a year now, and they cant sell it or get rid of it (srs)

PB pretzel / Brown Sugar blondie may be scoop shop exclusives or exclusives to the UK/Australia. you guys have some flavors we do not in the united states

^^ they are not on the ben and jerry site so i am going to guess exclusive to some countries.

Yup there are now 3 names for Rocking Blondie
Rocking Blondies is also named Blondie Ambition (Same description and mix-ins)
and also Brown Sugar Blondie

talk about marketing for the same product, mix-ins, and flavor LOL

Deceptive marketing? I think so. Probably wouldn't be an issue if it was good.

Maybe next week going to scoop my Brown Sugar a Whisky pint from Lake Effect.

i even read on there facebook about the cookie dough being the same as this new flavor called "I Dough I Dough" which was just a name change to support gay marriage lol

They already stated why and I posted it about 6-7 pages back

The cost to
Buy the cookies they used in OCC rose in cost and they did not want to pay the money for them anymore hence why OCC is now in the grave yard

Ben and Jerry did not want to use a lower grade cookie which altered the flavor and mix in for the pint
