Unsure on the keto supplement on the far right. My buddy workouts with john and said the Amino tastes great, no information on the profiles just yet.

I am definitely interested in seeing what these look like. Especially after all that crazy shyt! Haha

I'll wait til their next sale, even if it's not til Black Friday again. Was worth it for 50% off and free shipping.

That was my first experience with Grenade. Hoping to at least sample the other flavors first so I can decide whether to grab full boxes or not. Definitely grabbing multiples of white chocolate though -- my fav of the 3 I've tried thus far.

Insider sale going on now through their website has a try all 5 for 10.

If you get an extra Peanut Nutter bar. Ill trade you for one.

MTS Nutrition Blueberry Muffin Whey Review

Taste

Blueberry Muffin - The Blueberry flavor is tasted from first sip and has a very long lasting aftertaste. Just opening the tub the aroma fills the room with the scent of a blueberry muffin. There is no artificial taste, but has a bold blueberry flavor. This reminded me of a blueberry scone that has a strong glaze/buttery aftertaste to it. The elements of the muffin (buttery/glaze) flavor and the dense blueberry flavor make this a great fruity addition to the MTS Lineup. While I am usually not a big fruit guy when it comes to protein powders, this is a great rotation flavor to have on his line. I have to say I was surprised at how good this one was. Apple Pie was good; this one beats it as a fruit flavor in my opinion. This one just falls short of my top 5 flavors off Marc’s Lineup. If you enjoy a well rounded blueberry muffin flavor this is one to grab. Combining all 3 elements of the buttery/glaze and blueberry flavor was well executed.

Mixability

All MTS Flavors mix with ease. I have not had a problem with any flavor, and I have had over a dozen off Marc's line. Mix this in 6-8oz of water and no problems. Mix in sludge (with water or yogurt) no problems, and the countless recipes I have made all mix with ease. This is a good thing about MTS to know is that you won't have a problem mixing this.

Formula

Invalid Link Removed

33.5g Per Scoop
1.5g Fat
4g Carbs
25g Protein

Optimal Biological Whey Protein Matrix (Whey Protein Concentrate, Whey Protein Isolate), Natural & Artificial Flavors, Sodium Chloride, Potassium Chloride, Sucralose.

Very straight forward here. WPI/WPC Blend with a few added artificial sweeteners, sucralose and that is about it. Marc does not put a lot of junk into this formula. It is very basic, tastes great, and has good macros. Some of the flavors can get a bit high (cookies and cream, black forest cake, Red Velvet with ~4g fat)

Cost

55$ for a 5lb Tub. It is a limited flavor, who knows if there will be any deals for when this is in stock. From time to time Marc does run 10-20% off his MTS Line, so if you happen to be lucky you could find MTS whey on sale. For limited flavors that is not always the case. Keep your eyes peeled you could get it for under 50$ if on sale, or if you are at a local trade show.
For 10$/lb that is pretty much the standard on the supplement industry due to the cost of raw materials, not to mention this flavor may not come back after it is sold out.

I am well stocked up on Protein, buy would buy this if a "Sale" came along.

So it looks like its pretty heavy on the berry and light on the muffin... bummer there. Was hoping for a lot of muffin taste to it. No doubt its good tho.

Comparison to iForce BBM The Solution?

Comparison to iForce BBM The Solution?

You have it 100% Backwards
There is more glaze/muffin/buttery taste in Marc's Blueberry Muffin
Iforce is more straight blueberry flavor.

Both are good, depends what your looking for in the flavor. Marc's is a better all round flavor (combining all elements of the blueberry Muffin)
iforce is much stronger on the blueberry flavor.

Solid review as always, Bob!

Wish I wasn't so over-saturated with protein at the moment lol. Was wanting to pull the trigger on some MTS back during Black Friday, but with 5 lb. tubs and the stock I already have, I just couldn't justify it.

But in this new year, one of my goals is to bake more, which will happen starting this weekend. So I should be working through my whey a bit quicker :)

Why would it have a chocolate coating? Then it wouldn't be a nutter/peanut... it'd be a pb/choc which everyone else has

Here is pictures to show the choc coating just like on the package

Grenade has combined Carb Killa’s delicious chocolate caramel base with a somewhat fair, but real and rich peanut flavor. It’s certainly not overpowering like we’ve seen in most chocolate peanut protein bars, although still enough to call Peanut Nutter a strong competitor.

The Carb Killa’s signature chocolate and caramel mix does once again help the bar feel like a legitimate chocolate bar, with the addition of the light peanut flavor making it taste like a less intense Snickers bar when chomping down a mouthful. We feel it could do with a bit more peanut flavor, although just like the other Carb Killas, Peanut Nutter is another bar you’ll find difficult to put down.

Looks amazing. But I see what booneman77 was getting at. When I see "peanut nutter" I would think of a nutter butter, which wouldn't have chocolate. But, I'm not complaining about the finished product. Definitely going to have to try them out.

I think the same thing as well. Maybe the Brits think differently, LOL.

We don't have nutter butters in the UK=[

from the description it could be kinda like a snickers with the chocolate/caramel/peanut combo..

or maybe a recces bar?

For a general bar, it looks great. But as I said and you referenced, it's a misleading name.

Call me when they do a straight pb. There's way too many other options for choc pb to care

A nutter butter is a pb cookie wth pb creme filling. All pb only

haha, i know what they are, i went through a few packs when me and the gf went to New York, then found the mini's in mexico it was heaven.

surprised they have never brought them over, i mean we got oreos and some chips ahoy but no nutter butters, unless you go to a place that specialises in american sweets and cereals and then you end up paying stupid money.

actually, my gf's sister is in NYC right now, think she's been asked to bring some back aha

From the pictures and review Bob posted, I would say you're right with a hybrid of a snickers, but with peanut butter. It does look like it has some caramel.

haven't checked the "new protein bar release thread" for awhile. expected more talk about protein bars. was not disappointed.....

its only misleading to American's, purely due to the fact they forget the rest of the world doesn't live in America.

lol dude I came to post this exact same thing haha...

It is more so just my general surprise at how many people eat these things and have such a big dick over them. My personal opinion is that the satisfaction and satiety are never worth my macronutrient investment into them, but someone posts a photo of a new one here (and other sites) and the thread rolls for 4 pages over it ha. Meanwhile you have respected member TheSolution does a taste review of a new flavor of protein from a fairly large and respectable brand, and a flavor rarely attempted in the industry and everyones like yeah whatev meh. Im not knocking anyone, and its just my opinion and no one should give a fu*k about that, its just amazing to see what is popular and drives the discussion.

...less intense Snickers...almost same calories as Snickers 2 To Go...and more expensive...

No thanks Jeff. Sticking with my Snickers.

What about "nutter butter" says chocolate and or caramel...

Even without knowing what a nutter butter cookie is, it's misleading as 2/3 of the flavor isn't in that name

Completely agree... I never find protein bars that filling or tasty. Never quite understood the fascination and mass appeal of them. Texture most times is strange due to the vitafiber and other IMOs used in it...

A majority of protein bars give me horrible digestion issues and gas. I know some people can pound 2-3 a day and are 100% Fine. I just don't have a stomach of steel for sugar alcohols or tons of sweeteners.

Agree on the not being so filling part. My fiancé and I always munch down on protein bars when we go to the movies. I often end up eating 5-10 during the movie and walk out of it hungrier than when I entered.

Not all bars are loaded with fiber or sugar alcohols tho. Only the low carb ones

Oh yeah one bars have 10g of fiber and 24g if carbs

Fitjoy have 11g of fiber and 23g of carbs

Quest 22g of carbs 11-15g fiber

B up bar has 23g of carbs and 18g fiber

Combat crunch bars 25g of carbs and 12g fiber

Mission 1 22g of carbs and 17g fiber

That's just listing off a few of the favorites.... but a lot of them are high in fiber and have a chunk of carbs

Eating 5 of those would be over 100g carbs and 50g fiber minimum . Which by no means is "low carb" that's pretty standard in the industry for a bar

The pro supps my bar are lower in carbs. It have 1g of fiber

You literally listed all the brands in "low net carb" category. Exactly what I was talking about NOT listing. Bro, do you even read?

I'm talking met rx, pure protein, etc. literally every bar before the quest low net carb craze.
