I mixed this in 6oz of almond milk. Honestly It mixed much thicker then I expected. The White Chocolate is the dominant flavor, but not by much. The macadamia is strong, resembling a true macadamia. I would say it is a 60/40 % ratio of White Chocolate to macadamia. The White chocolate is bold, and leaves a strong flavor. I would have to say for an isolate I was not expecting a very strong flavored final product, but this one surprised me. I have been trying to pitch this flavor to other supplement companies to make in the future. Since this is a rare flavor Nutrakey did a great job.
I would give it a 8/10, and I would purchase this because I do enjoy this flavor (being a white chocolate fan). Suggest this one, but do not expect something mind blowing.

Nice review. I was wondering what you used to mix it with, like you mentioned, it looks very thick. I'm going to look up the price point. I may have to give it a go.

Sorry brotha, I probably should have noted I make my own. Its very easy.

I have wanted a good WCMC protein for so long that i finally decided to make my own with homemade cookie butter and unflavored whey. Add in a tiny bit of frozen overripe banana (you don't taste the banana if you do it right) and a pinch of xanthan gum and youve got a real treat.

We both know that chocolate spin-offs are sometimes misleading and just a glorified dark/milk chocolate tasting flavor with a minor compliment.

For all the pumpkin pie love, carrot cake is neglected. Hershey kisses did a carrot cake in February and they were GOAT, yest better than pumpkin which were great.

hmmm...if only there were a company coming out with a Vegan powder in the near future that generally did a good job on flavoring...PEShaps it would be a good idea for them to attempt something of this nature and mix the existing earthy flavor of the base protein + some kind of carrot powder/dried carrot pieces + raisin bits...kind of like the mini cookie bits puts in C&C powders...

Recently redid carrot cake cupcakes with a blend of blondie and snickerdoodle but a dedicated carrot cake would be great.

I currently have Pound Cake. It tastes very much like pound cake batter. Sweet on the front with a bit of sour tang on the finish. It's more like a lemon pound cake. Very good, but for some reason I can't get the flavor to come across in baked goods. I think I'm going to try it in cheesecake some time in the next couple weeks.

I'd like to try their carrot cake but I think it's discontinued

I'm interested in learning more about how much the silicate helps L-Cit. I do know I like Nitrosigine...

Also, so in for dat twix review. USP doesn't seem to miss on their flavors, so this may be yet another damn protein I have to order...

Caramel Cookie Stix – Being this is a flavor never seen on the market before this one peaked my interest. Caramel and Cookies I have a slight inclination to what to expect, the Stix aspect left me a bit confused. Upon first sip of the shake I made the caramel is the dominant flavor. The caramel packed a thick, sweet, and sugary flavor that was absolutely fantastic. The bad part is the cookie portion was left under flavored, and there was no sign of “Stix”. Take a twix and imagine just having the caramel filling. Salted Caramel or Sea Salt Caramel would be an alternative name for this protein flavor. Needless to say the caramel flavoring on this product is superb. Another way to describe this flavor is a caramel swirl you would find in ice cream. Loaded with a bold and dense flavor that left a long lasting aftertaste. A+ On the caramel flavor, but a deceiving name.
Mixability

Modern Protein is on the thin side. Upon mixing it to your desire it will start to dissolve on its own. Even with a spoon mixed into a shake (as some others have noted) it dissolves in a heartbeat. Myself I got right into baking. This made protein baked goods rise to its peak, and make a great final product.

For the video review 6oz of Almond milk and a few ice cubes make a good shake. Not very thick, but it left no clumps or residue left in the shaker after blended.

USP Labs uses a triple isolate matrix containing MPI, WPI Hydrolized WPI. In the modern protein blend there are also forms of WPC and Casein. Compared to the Oxy Elite Protein there was a drop in the Rapid Burn Lipid Complex (MCT, Green Tea and Raspberry Ketones) while still keeping in the High Oleic Sunflower Oil. The Formula’s are a bit different overall but the Modern Protein contains a higher Isolate content. Due to the higher isolate content is also reasoning behind the Mixability and thinness of the powder.

While this is rare for me, I honestly do not know the exact amount. What I can surmise from the formula however is that I know Gaspari has never been a very caffeine heavy based company, so I would assume that this is going to be a moderate caffeine dose coupled with a very euphoric DMAA dose that will be amazing on its own, and absolutely killer when paired with PlasmaJet.

The silicates increases both absorption and delivery. We know arginine on its own is "meh" at best, and by adding the silicate it turns the compound into a damn impressive pump option. While Citrulline does naturally offer better absorption than arginine, it is still far from perfect, and by adding the silicate to this we are able to greatly enhance the absorption and therefor delivery to our blood/muscles where we want it.

Same holds true for the Agmatine.


One thing to note is that 3g of Citrulline on its own is pretty damn close to a "full" serving for many (not all, I understand some people mega dose this stuff), so by Gaspari including 3g of Citrulline Silicate, it means this is far and away beyond a "full dose" and will offer pumps unlike anything else out there. Again, same holds true for agmatine...750mg-1000mg is considered a "full" dose (for anyone) of agmatine sulfate, and by us offering this form with enhanced absorption/delivery, it is going to feel like a MUCH bigger dose.



Now, add these into the insulin mimetics ( 4-hydroxyisoleucine and cinnamic aldehyde) which are going to drive insulin and force feed glucose/blood/nutrients into your muscles for enhanced pumps beyond what just an increase of Nitric Oxide can do on its own and...damn.


Then, beyond all that you have a really amazing nootropic blend, 5% rosavin rhodiola(most everyone utilizes the weaker 3% extract), Bacopa Monniera at a very potent standardization, DMAA, and theobromine...hot damn

Ya never know. Seems high but then again Muscle Marinade from Purus was wicked like that.

175/75/50 perhaps. Worth a try.

80mg is what I was under the impression of ( provided by reviews in 2012 ) for Muscle Marinade used some yesterday ;)

300mg Caffeine and 80mg 1,3

Given how many other products were 3 and 4 scooped tho many people were taking in easily 100mg 1,3 at a time even right now I know people who are using 1.25-1.5 of 1,3 products. DMAA is not as potent a stimulant as Yohimbine or Ephedrine and it's effects are focus driven the other stimulants seem to build it up far more on that end so I don't see why not.

Edit: Not actually used wicked but I feel I maybe missing out having not :X

Anything northwards 65mgs of DMAA means no sexy time for me and I crash hard. I do not crash on yohimbine or ephedrine of course different doses. ((standard 25 of ephedrine))
