The New Product Release Thread

I already chug apple cider vinegar and take Rolaids/Tums as often as needed (usually every other day or so). I even have a prescription for omeprazole. That product is probably not for me lol

Esomeprazole like Nexium is much better actually :) omeprazole is containing 2 isomers. R and S isomers but you just need S isomers so thats why Esomeprazole is made. Containing just S isomers :)
I used omeprazole but after changing to Esomeprazole like Nexium, I feel like a new man

Thanks for the info, I'll definitely look into that!

I tried the other 2 BPI Best protein bars. It hit me they taste very similar to a homemade bar you would make with Vitafiber. They do add cookie bits.
Smores is the best (9/10) - exactly like a COR S'mores bar
Cinnamon Graham is like a Select SD (8.5/10).
CnC was just okay (6.5/10).

I will buy lots of the s'mores lol

Seeing how those have twice the sodium of the Venture bars, I'd guess they are not as bland. The tastiest bars on the market have even more salt.

Generally most supplements have blanket warnings that you shouldn't be taking them if you're on SSRIs :)

That is true, But I thought that was more of a generally warning for all products this days, even though there is no drug interaction between the supplement and the medication. I guess that is for the supplement companies own safety, with lawsuit etc.
But I always check drug interaction and do research before I buy supplement for my own safety.

it is a C.Y.A world...it is good that you do your own research...and the best thing about this forum is there are MANY more knowledgeable people here than I am that i can reach out to explain things if I have questions....I love this place!!!

I agree with you. The amount of helpful and knowledgeable people on this forum is outstanding.

Adding extra salt can easily change protein powder in my experience. Adding a small amount has changed bland powders to very good powders, taste wise.

Anyone who cooks knows that :)

The ONE bars have about 140mg of sodium per 60g, Venture bars have 55mg per ~65g hence the blah flavor.

Huh I never would've thought to try that... How much would you add on a per scoop basis?

I have a sea salt grinder. Per one scoop, I just do a half to a full turn. It is also going to depend on what else you have in the bowl. For example, if you have 2 or 3 servings of oatmeal, you may need a little more.

Very true. I have been cooking for a while now. When I first started training, I was one of those bros that aovided sodium at all costs. I can't believe how well a little salt enhances everything.

Yup! Thats why adding a touch of salt to cheesecakes really enhances the flavor.
Salt = Flavor!

PB Fit Crunch = the BOSS LLN
Good to hear the Fit Elite are better than the Fit Crunch. Those were pretty meh for Bday.

BPI Released: Cookies n' Cream, S'Mores, Cinnamon Graham Cracker, and Chocolate Peanut Butter

How are they?

Tried the peanut butter and the graham cracker and the peanut butter was just mehhhh. Graham cracker on the other hand was honestly the best protein bar ive had in a minute. Quest like consistency but softer with graham cracker chunks all through it. Seriously was so good imo.

thanks for the feedback....any idea when NP will carry BEST bars?

I don't know to be honest, I believe so. I'm disconnected out of the country. Getting ready to disappear for a few days. Watch our social media. I know we were waiting for all the flavors of Perform to be in stock. I know flexatril got cleared in the past day or so from QC. Should be up on some retailers by end of week.

I recently watched a Ted Talk about drug interactions and he said its very hard to study interactions of two different drugs. I'm not a scientist but it makes sense
