ANSI is releasing three new flavors of their protein cheesecake bars. They are pretty good if you've never had them

I found those ANSI bars to be fairly dense in texture, but not bad on the flavor so I would certainly be willing to try new flavors.

I liked the flavor, but they were a little weak in comparison to similar bars. Although the texture is one noted, I do like it, the texture seems creamier, almost like a cheesecake

Rob's post is exactly what I thought as well. 100% will try those new flavours though.

Cannot agree with this statement. Hated both the texture and taste.

If someone is looking for an alternative to the usual names, Detour and Supreme Protein bars have been decent and can usually be found deeply discounted.
 
LLN Supreme Carb con bar's ( Far from new tho ) are fantastic that German Chocolate Cake & Pretzel Twist being my favorites but I have eaten a lot of the Chocolate wafer and Caramel nut being my back ups.

Promax did just re do their Promax Pro bar which I have not had yet but heard it is a wafer or wafer like? dunno but I liked the orig promax pro triple chocolate a lot!

I haven't really found a bar that I enjoy since the Detour bars first came out. I don't know if they've changed nutritional values over the years, but I always questioned if a Snickers was all that much worse lol.

Have had the pretzel and the pb crunch. Both were candy bar status. Will get to the rest of line up eventually.

This being the supplement industry, it would be wise to take all label claims with a grain of salt.

Pretzel twist is good, the apple pie was ok. The pretzel twist has the nice salty flavor to the chocolate layer on the bar which is pretty spot on.

I agree with your take on Detour. I love the Simple line. Any bar with texture and great taste (Detour, Robert Irvine, NuGo, Grenade, etc.)>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Quest, Controlled Labs, Muscletech and any other bar with a one not texture.

Black Cherry Xtend...my mouth is watering already.

I also have the occasional desire to buy a drink carbonator and fizzy up some of my favorite drinks. Just because I love fizz and I basically quit drinking soda.

Could you buy club soda and mix some Xtend in it? Or would that ruin the carbonation?

Hmm...not sure. I've mixed club soda with fruit juices before with good outcomes.

When the new Xtend Perf comes out (and the new month's blow money becomes available) I think I'm gonna give it a try.

Super excited about the endurance benefits of the new Xtend, too. Sounds like a supplement that may prove to be a summer staple for landscaping time.

Haha no kidding. Between this and Cardar1ne, I don't even know if I'll have endurance problems from tren anymore.

Haha nice. I've yet to try Cardar1ne. I definitely need endurance help with busy season, though.

I haven't really seen anything regarding the formula but he does later mention on that post that it is similar concept to plazma (HBCD, hydrolyzed casein, Cit Mal, TMG, and electrolytes)

If they use a decent amount of HBCD or similar certainly enough worth using and or peptopro it's not going to be a low price

Glycofuse, Intra-MD & Vitargo being examples also of course Plazma from Biotest which is the basis for Intra-MD

Your best bet would be to buy bulk HBCD which is still not cheap and just mix it into something you are going to find you will not be saving much so I wouldn't expect much in the way of "Cheap".

Vitargo is fractionated barley amylopectin, not HBCD's

And I do use bulk HBCD's and peptopro, I in the same city as Truenutrition's warehouse so I just pick up there :D no shipping

Damn! That'd be nice living in same city as TN. I'd be buying bulked HBCD for sure. Still need to give it a decent run. I use Karbolyn and no issues but want to give HBCD a run just to compare.

I love Karbolyn. Using ProSupps Karbolic right now and it's the bomb. Don't wanna detract from the point of this thread though so :sad6:

I am aware of what Vitargo is, but it would be an alternative option worded it poorly is all so my bad.

The point being nothing similar is all that cheap and anything utilizing those is not going to be cheap. I have 7 tubs of so of intra-md atm but may try bulk hbcd and just mix it into some resurgence when I run out.

I have myself not used Vitargo have plenty of friends who have. Was told if I used it to go with the flavored option and it gel's up to a thicker liquid.

Blackstone should be launching that 3-whey along with some non-stim fat burner, test booster or something and a pre workout of some kind not sure on that or on exact dates but I would imagine they will launch them at the Arnold.

1Fast400 is the MicroLactin in your new joint supplement an even more concentrated version of it? Also if it is a more concentrated version, what is it extracted for exactly? Is it Immunoglobulin G (IgG)? If it is extracted for Immunoglobulin G (IgG) what makes it any different than bio-gro(yes i get bio-gro isn't extracted for Immunoglobulin G (IgG) specificly, that we know) or man supplements pure pf-3, other than lowered dose?

The reason I ask, is the the studied doses of actual MicroLactin is 4-9 GRAMS. That dose is just impossible to get with your product. That is due to the full serving of it having less than 4 grams total, and that is with other ingredients in it. Also the study suspected that Immunoglobulin G (IgG) was the reason for MicroLactin benefits on joints, but said more research was needed to prove that. So it could be a different thing in MicroLactin that causes the joint relief. So with all they hype and wait behind this product and claims of studies backing up all the ingredients; it would just be a real shame if the MicroLactin used in this product isnt more concentrated in some way. I would also lose all respect for a company that i think has done GREAT, is(might be was i guess i will decide after the answer) heading in the right directing by trying to prove their products with REAL studies before the release of said products, and also the changes to xtend without increasing price; was great. It might be a great product with just the other ingredients but it won't make a difference though for me, IF the MicroLactin isnt more concentrated; and would be a much better without out it IMO. I AM REALLY SORRY for being this way, as i dont like being this way; but it really bugs when i see what i think of as a great supplement company "sell out". And most of all I think us as loyal consumers do deserve answers!!!!!!!! Also I DEEPLY APOLGIZE for my actions IF(key word IF) the MicroLactin used in it is truly more concentrated than what was used in the studies!!!! I also would VERY MUCH appreciated it if to know whaf it is concreted for.

Every once in a while I'll add a half scoop of PES Select Gourmet Vanilla haha it's like having dessert in a shaker cup. But very filling, gotta wait like 2 hours to work out
 
There are a lot more small businesses producing mixes than many realize

I don't think the expense is ever justified with how simple it is to whisk together the same things yourself

Too many people are lazy when it comes to cooking, or quite simply don't know how to cook.
You sell them convenience and they buy
