Performax Labs has given us our first look at its latest sequel supplement, with the follow up to its muscle-building formula AlphaMax XT. It was roughly one month ago that the brand confirmed the coming of the product, revealing very little about it. The only real piece of information Performax gave us was that the sequel would be carrying over all but one ingredient from its predecessor, although it would be replacing that one with five others.
The first look at AlphaMax XT doesn’t exactly confirm much more than what we previously knew, as the two bottles do look very similar. The only areas they visually separate themselves is with their short descriptions, as AlphaMax XT is now promoted as a “bulking agent” and “testosterone/hormonal modulator”. Fortunately Performax has given us a detail outside of the first look which is a little more interesting.
The brand has basically confirmed the one ingredient that it’s removed from the original for AlphaMax XT. The feature being cut from the team is arimistane, meaning uritica dioica, mucana pruriens, coleus forskholii and ZMA have all been carried over. As mentioned though arimistane is being replaced by five other ingredients, none of which have been named yet. Performax has however said the additions are going to make AlphaMax XT a more complete muscle-builder, giving it a few more effects than its predecessor.

Just tried the ONE! bars. Tried CnC, Brownie, Cookie Dough and B-Day. Every single one of them was trash.....except the B-Day. I saved that one for last, but after the first 3 I didn't have much hope going in. Wow though, tasted like a mini-cake, and easily one of the best protein bars I've ever had, up there with the OG Quest CnC and FitCrunch CCCD.
I'll be putting up a little review/log thread up soon, so I'll post my full review with some pics in there. Needless to say, all the hype from this thread/forum was warranted.

Komodo Nutraceuticals has launched its previously previewed sequel supplement Katana V4, which of course has brought with it the pre-workout’s highly anticipated label. As promised the product does feature citrulline, glycerol, agmatine, citicoline, caffeine and vitamin B12, as well as four other ingredients that we can now confirm. The brand has obviously included everything at solid doses, however for Katana V4 it has changed the caffeine balance a little which gives the supplement an interesting maximum ability.
Firstly we’ll go over the ingredients in a single scoop of Katana V4 with 2g of citrulline, 1g each of HydroMax glycerol and ALCAR (acetyl l-carnitine), 750mg tyrosine. 250mg of Cognizin citicoline, 2500mcg vitamin B12, half a gram each of taurine and Agmapure agmatine, 150mg Sustamine l-alanyl-l-glutamine, and lastly 115mg of caffeine. As you can see Komodo has carried over quite a few things from Katana V3, with a lot of the doses also being the same when bumping up V4 to two scoops.
You’ll also notice that the caffeine dose in a single scoop of Katana V4 is relatively low, although what that actually does is give users the ability to go up a scoop or two as they please. For example at one scoop the caffeine is low but the same can’t exactly be said for everything else. At two the ingredients get even better with the likes of agmatine at 1g and glycerol at 2g. Then when you go to three you’re only looking at 345mg of caffeine but with citrulline up at 6g, taurine at 1.5g and tyrosine at 2.25g.
What Komodo has done is interesting to say the least, with the brand basically carrying over Katana’s quality dosing, giving it a few new additions as well as some unique flexibility.

Yeah I don't think your flavour suggestions have been off for me once so far. The only thing we may disagree on is the flavours themselves (if you like apple and I don't for ex.).

Yeah I'm still going to try the Lemon, White Choc Rasp, Mint CC and especially the Almond Bliss (heard that is amazing), but I would definitely never purchase the other ones I bought again. B-Day all the way.

Think I found it. So it had Potassium Nitrate. I just purchased a couple DS Frenzy so I'm set with pre's for a while anyways.

Saw the formula and was immediately disappointed but bought DS Frenzy.. JUST LOL. WOW
I bought one of each flavor. The dosing on it is perfect for me. I can take 1 scoop when I go at night with low caffeine and it still has great focus with great pumps. If I want more I go two scoops and it has 500mg of Cognizin, 2g of Alcar and 1.5 g of Tyrosine. Not a huge fan of having creatine, or COP or BA in a pre so to me all the versions were awesome but this one fits me best because of have versatile it is.

I agree with you on the flexibility. However I wonder why they took out the amento and peppermint extract. I would have preferred to see those stay in.

amentoflavone is insanely expensive to dose properly. so is cdp-choline. I would not be surprised if their profit on the last version was non-existent.

I guess that does make sense on the amento. They do sell it in bulk anyway. I always use it pre workout. Truth be told I never really get that strength increase that people mention. I do always get a good mood boost and that is primarily why I use it.

I really like the ingredient, but it's not magic. I primarily notice the mood boost + extra energy myself...I feel like strength can only be improved so much at an acute level with anything but sniffing salts.
IFN has a product coming out soon with amento, and man it was tough working it so we could make any profit

I agree with you on the energy aspect. It dies seem to give me an increase even without stims. I actually feel it enhances caffeine and other stims when I combine them. Overall I do like the ingredient. Would be interested in the new IFN product. Have had success with Iforce products in the past.

Lol I'm going to! I was helping my girlfriend look for a new protein to try and I found that for her. Stole a scoop when it arrived and now I need it for myself!
