The New Product Release Thread

Xtend 2 Week Update

First of all a big thank you to Mike for sending me the reformulated Xtend to test out.

Claims

Within 7 days things you may note:

-This will increase every oxygen metric there is.
-Shorter time between sets,
-vo2 Max increases,
- time to exhaustion increases
- power increases.

Endurance/Recovery Workout

From week 1 to week 2 this is the biggest standout of the supplement. Incredibly you will find it hard to not be resting under 60 seconds regardless of what exercise you are doing. I was able to wheel out GVT style rep/set tempo's on squats and bench with ease and even surpassing numbers from the weeks before.

DOMS is starting to fade compared to previous week not on the new Xtend. I continue to find myself pushing similar intensity with less rest between each sets. Honestly if you think you want a huge recovery boost, this product alone lives up to that claim. No question if they called it Scivation Endurance I would 100% believe it. this just goes to show that Xtend is being reformulated in a great degree for the better. They have made one of the best even better.

Endurance/Recovery HIIT Cardio
Since I am far into my offseason (30 weeks since I ended my cut) and also up 25+ pounds of stage weight I am not doing much cardio if any at all. I am currently doing 2 sessions of HIIT a week (no LISS or low intensity cardio). for 5 intervals.

Easily was able to push through the 5 intervals with ease. Hard to gauge if Xtend played the 100% impact on such a short cardio session (5 minutes).

I have added some LISS Cardio which has shown to not delay any kind of progress into my routine or weightlifting. Even though cardio is catabolic still with 2 HIIT Sessions a week and trying to add more cardio I have seen no impairment to my gains and recovery.

Power Increases

I started a new mesocycle three weeks ago. The first week I ran without the new xtend, and the second with the new xtend and the third with the new xtend. On top of recovery being the #1 aspect shining through from the product I did note a small increase in some lifts. This is not going to add 10-15 pounds to your big 3 in a matter of a week, but I can tell you that:

- I have been able to add 1-2 reps or 5-10 pounds to most accessory movements and compound movements.
- With shorter rest periods I still am able to continue to hit the same weights or reps.
- I am finding it easier to hold or squeeze out reps even as lactic acid does build up. Xtend has been helping me push to new levels and break my mental barriers when fatigue sets in.

Overall

1) endurance and recovery benefits within a few days. Literally day 3 I could easily tell the difference in rest times, and mental/physical fatigue. I was pushing my body with less rest times and matching numbers from my previous weeks. Now onto day 14 or so, the endurance and performance shine the best. You will easily see decrease in rest times, and day to day recovery to help keep intensity high and push new limits.

2) Power increases were slightly noticed, nothing crazy, but you will notice it is easier to squeeze out extra reps. Adding weight will come with proper diet and training over time, but i have added weight to some movements. I have to say the new xtend is living up to the claims to far 2 weeks into the experiement. I have also pushed my mental limits on each and every session to make the most of this beta-test.

postwork eaa better!

Actually no
EAA's are better intra-workout 33% better than BCAA's

WHY EAA's more important than BCAA intra-workout:
but EAAs may impart some endurance-like effects that BCAAs simply cannot.

Invalid Link Removed

This is the only study done in trained humans consuming EAAs during the workout. These are legit, military-trained personnel doing both resistance and endurance work.

The findings?

"In summary, consumption of a 10-g dose of EAA enriched with leucine during moderate endurance-type exercise stimulated increased MPS when compared with an isonitrogenous EAA supplement with an amino acid profile consistent with high-quality proteins. These data indicate that increasing leucine availability during steady state exercise promotes skeletal muscle protein anabolism and spares endogenous protein."

Cliffs:

These EAAs increased postworkout MPS by 33% when consumed during exercise
The drink with the highest leucine content spared muscle to the greatest degree

I'll finally get to try these 3 bars/flavors

How did you arrive at the conclusion that BCAAs are inferior to EAAs when that paper you referenced didnt compare the two?

In fact, they compared EAAs with EAAs, but one was leucine enhanced. This only shows that added leucine promotes mTOR activation, not the EAAs themselves. But we knew that already.

And before people call me out on it like they have in the past for pointing this out: most people dont link click, therefore they will assume that the paper cited will back up the statement made comparing BCAAs to EAAs, im simply clarifying that this paper in particular does not amplify that, but rather assesses EAAs against leucine enriched EAAs.

I'll finally get to try these 3 bars/flavors

I hope you enjoy the fitcrunch more than myself and others who have put it down as not one of their best flavors.
have you tried any other birthday bars (Combat or Oh yeah?)
CnC Mission 1 was their best IMO followed by Fudge Brownie, then CCCD (tastes like chocolate chip)

chedapalooza Woody WOW. Look I just looked at the BOX and didn't even look into it further. I thought it was somehow a low-carb cereal. I have shamed you all, forgiveness please.

I had a quick look and got pumped for protein cereal also.....Left disappointed and angry.

You guys living in the US get all the goodies.....I'd be on permanent bulk if I lived down there.

Fit Crunch Birthday Cake is my least favorite flavor out of the 4 options, by FAR. They dun goof'ed up with the flavoring on it. Won't be buying another one.

I've tried the Combat. The flavor is more shallow/light than the Fit crunch I just had. I actually like the birthday Fit crunch a lot. I'd say it is the best of the Fit crunch flavors. It's soft, but the flavor is a little bit on the lemony side, which I don't mind. I haven't tried the Oh Yeah bday yet but I don't care for any of the ONE bars I have tried.

Sometimes when people post about how good stuff is or isn't, I wished I had their taste buds instead of mine.

Id have to say your taste buds are broken bro lol I've tried every flavor except CnC and love them all

Most certainly not.

PB, CnC, and CCCD blow Birthday Cake out of the water. Not even comparable.

Thank you. Another person who enjoys the goodness of those Bday Cake Fit Crunch. I actually enjoy the lemony taste of them as well

Pb and CCCD are great. So we agree in that regard.Have not tried CnC at all because I'm not usually a fan of that flavor. As for the Bday Cake we'll agree to disagree. But we're still cool :)

It's supposed to taste like every other cinnamon protein which carries a more whimsical name so that we the consumers can conjure up the illusion of heavy calorie food items magically condensed into 100 calorie form and proceed to imagine such an experience in the product.

inb4 but XF Cinnamon Roll did it brah...

What a guy.

I'm glad you guys finally revealed it, but I will agree, it's a bit disappointing. Only because it's coming from SNS, and you guys have set the bar high for product expectations imo.

Evolution of supplement industry aka the most anticipated release of the year..

Please PM me on where I can buy. Must buy.

Does MD stand for My dick?
Muscle Dong

Gold from 2 of my favorite posters as usual.

They're like PEScience - Physique enhancing science, but MDScience - Mans dick science
Imagine if Coop was their rep..Dreams,dreams.

Hahahahaha so this is why Coop became so busy and hasn't been posting. He was formulating his masterpiece!

Wow coming from maybe the biggest FitCrunch advocate on these boards, that is a serious denunciation. My expectations are not high after reading this.

I don't like CnC, but I will agree that PB and CCCD are insane. I think CnC may disappoint you.

You tried Oh yeah Bday? I want to see if you think its much better than FitCrunch and Combat

This thread is becoming a flavour discussion thread, which is quite disappointing...

Welcome to supplements.
Most people buy products because of their taste, not because of their formula.
Go ask a general gym bro why they buy supplements, majority of the answer is "because it tastes good"
People that understand and have knowledge on products, ingredients, and formula's may be a bit different (Quality, 3rd party testing, formula)
For the general masses as long as it tastes good, they buy it. For most of us on here that understand what we get in a product, it may differ. I doubt many people want to choke down protein bars or supplements that taste awful on the daily norm.

True.
But that's not what I meant.
People has been discussing what flavour they like, what they mix with this or that.
The thread has just derailed.
Dont wanna bother anyone, but maybe a new thread about flavour opinions would be best to post about that.

Well new products are not always new formula's or ingredient profiles. For instance PES is adding 2 new flavors to Ergonine, so that will be a huge debate when they release and what they like compared to nanaberry and blue already on their line.

Same could be said with Taste/flavor when new protein powders are released. Same formula, same profile, just different flavor to see if that person likes or dislikes it. yet it is still a "new product" as deemed by some people's eyes.

Nothing really new product wise last few days as i have seen on stack3d. But hopefully we see new news on new products.

This thread is about product releases correct? Next question how is the product?? Taste? Dosing? Ingredients? And yes taste will vary from person to person. But sometimes products taste like **** and it doesn't matter who reviewed it.... that's something to take note.

If flavour posts and questions bother you guys so much, you don't have to read them. Otherwise this will be a copy paste thread for STACK3D, IMO.

Cant believe is that hard to understand.
Talking about new flavours releases is nice and interesting.
The problem is when each one wanna post about its preferences.
Couple days ago we had 5 pages similar to this:
"New flavour release of product X: orange"
"I love orange!"
"Well, I dont"
"I second the one who likes it"
"I second the one who doesnt!"
"They should have released a pineapple one. Maybe in the future?"
"Pineapple sucks!"
"Maybe orange with pineapple would be good!"
"Dont like mixed flavours. If you like it, add a juice"
"Orange is my favourite flavour!"
"How can someone's favourite be orange??? lol"
"I like this kind of product with almond milk"
"Have you tried with greek yogurt?"
"Yeah, aint for me"

Man, this is as boring as it can be.
And, see, they are not talking about the product, by about their particular preferences.

And, no, it wouldnt be the same as Stack3d.
We have other sources and the discussion about ingredients are very interesting.

But, whatever...

This goes both ways....Me using Stack3d is a reference, stating just product info. What's the point of a discussion thread with no members personal input. All of your quotes are peoples personal inputs, maybe some members are looking for something new to try or experiences. When there's lots of people who post, expect multiple post on each persons view...flavour,comparison to other products, size, value. etc....

Depends on what vagina taste:D

a much more interesting topic, imo!!!

I don't care for the scented smells/flavors some add, makes me think they are covering up da funk.....unscented and unflavored is my preference, although I have been known to use a candy cane, this seems to be good for both of us!!!

Haven't tried Oh YEAH B-day Cake. But I am thinking it is a must try not to compare to the huge disappointment of FitCrunch. I'll stick with CCCD, PB, and CnC -- All three flavors are GOAT.

Just came in:

Started this about 4-5 days ago. Only natural anabolic I am currently taking. We shall see how it goes. Didn't respond very well to most wanted in terms of strength or fat loss but definitely saw improved work capacity and joint health / pain reduction. So I'll see how this treats me.

I do plan on adding erase pro+ after the two-three mark

Can't wait to see what you say. I got someone sending me an Almond Bliss from Oh yeah. So i will see how that stacks up on their line.
