the napalm detroit barbell experience...

I've yet to hear anyone say that Peyton is better than Elway or Montana either. Oh, guess what Elway's SB winning percentage is...1/3.

Really Bc before last nights game napalm did in swansons log...

Around a .500 career playoff record with only one win in 3 trips to the sb... Not the greatest ever. He has shown he struggles to get it done in win or go home situations

He said if he wins the SB. Your trolling and arrogance has gotten old.

You have your own thread to pollute.

Please stay out of mine....

Yessir. It was a conversation about IF he wins. 1-2, regardless of regular season output, leaves him out if the top 5 IMHO.

Anyway, back to Detroit Barbell liftins.

Still don't think sb wins make u a great quarterback only a great teams. If your gonna rate qbs by rings then by that logic u would say that dilfer is better than Dan Marino(spelling?)

Nobody has ever said that SB wins alone make a great quarterback. However, they are a huge part of the criteria when it comes to QB legacies.

Denver sort of had a full melt down. Could almost sense it from the first snap of the game.
And there was a second team on the field. That D had something to say about the outcome.

A win in one game does not make the career. And let's face it, Manning deserves some props for just being there with the neck and all.

Defense wasn't good but they were put in rough situations from the start, and it got worse for them as the game went on with turnovers.

I just say manning needed to win, Bc he is too good ( as shown in this season) to have a below 500 career playoff record, and only one win in 3 sbs. Peyton is right, he hasn't reached his full potential.

Ight, I'm done napalm I will exodus

oh yeah i forgot, my whole left leg is killing me from the 10's yesterday. i'm obv favoring my achilles and not even realizing it...

I would imagine after that it would just come natural to shift your weight off it without realizing it but the key is u know it now and can address it

Once upon a time I had a blister on my right heel. For days and days I had to walk long distances with a heavy pack. I wound up with tendinitis in my left Achilles. I didn't know I was favoring one side until the Achilles felt like a dried out rubberband. Maybe some added unilateral work would pay dividends?

Yep, I had the same issue on runs/rucks. I would favor the left side because it was my bad knee and then I started having issues with my right hip from doing it.

mobility/ghr/facepulls/lunges

mobility
mash/stretch/roll/mash some more, roll some more - about 40 minutes total

ghr
10x7, gonna up these next week

facepulls
6x10 w 70 - increase of 10 lbs

db lunges

thoughts
didn't really realize how beat up i was from sunday until i started rolling and mashing today. adductors and lower inside quads are a little fcked up. they'll be fine, just overdid it sunday. have to be more mindful of that. had a little trouble w the lunges, couldn't do as many as i wanted. on a positive note, the ghr's are going well and this can only be a good thing. next week: 100 of them.

from today, one of my training partners kids:

Oh you know, right now we're getting our daily 6 inches of snow. Right now it's snowing sideways. On the plus side, it's 21 degrees and feels like summer...

Here u go <img src="http://anabolicminds.com/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=96330"/>

Trust me, I know db will be open. A giant sinkhole underneath it would have to open, and it would have to fall to the earths core for anyone to miss a day.

I might not get home till 10, but I know there will be some heavy pulling being done later...

Dear polar vortex,

Fck you

good day, there's no doubt the heavy rack pulls are working. some of today's increase was technique, but not all of it. i'm getting stronger pulling. one of these days i have to pull from the floor w/o squatting first to see where i'm at. the big boys worked up to 905 for a triple, just sick.

recover tomorrow, then work that fcking shirt friday...

Hell fckin yeah! You're going to be a whole different kind of fcking animal in no time, man.

thanks guys, it's still weird for me to go in everyday not knowing what i'm gonna do. i mean, i got a general idea but clay switches things up every time so it's hard to know if i'm getting better at the main lifts yet. there's no debate to what we're going to do either. two very different styles between clay and jj. clay is more of a brute force kind of guy, jj is much more technically proficient - but still brutally strong.

learning everyday...

You make me wana try racks... Nice work.

txs brochacho, maybe i'll pull like you one of these days, prolly not, but a guy can dream!

You can do it. Anyone can do it. You're smart as anyone else here and work hard. And with the training you are getting now things are gona happen.

Working with a crew is the balls, no? Nice freakin pulling, mang.

Still adjusting after 250 years of training by myself, but yeah, when you're accountable to other people it's quite different. The last thing you want to so is look like a p.ussy...

Exactly. And having REALLY strong guys look at you and say "today you'll bench x weight for doubles". No excuses, no questions, you just do it.

Txs Dave, but let's not get carried away: pin 5 is about 4 inches below my knee. It's not like I'm pulling it from the floor or anything...
Regardless, to move that kind of weight takes a certain kind and level of strength/leverage. And let's be honest, 4" below your knee can't be more than 5" from where a floor pull would start.

Napalm, 600 is like the movie 300...TWICE "rob walks away from the phone throwing arms up in victory fashion"

Whoa damn pin 5 is mid-shin? GOOD GAWD. I never know where people are referring to when they talk pin numbers. That's fückin HYOOGE, man!

lol, txs big shot

Dude that's my convo sticking spot. That would stop me dead.

Yer StRoNg

dude, you prolly pull 100 lbs more than me. try them your next back day and imagine a 400 lb clay yelling at you and calling you a p.ussy. i guarantee you pull 750 from pin 5 :biglaugh:

i'm short justin, except for one other dude, everyone else is like 5'10"

it's easier for me...

edit: pin 5 for you would about 6 inches below the center of your kneecap.

it's a scientific fact, i measured w my fingers...
