So i see alot of people here like the whole heavy metal thing, i cant stannnnnnnd it, but thats just my opinion, i'm more into every kind of rap execpt the new lil wayne stuff, im a Red Hot Chili Pepper FANATIC, i like old country shiz, which is called outlaw country, NOT conway twitty where all they sing about is losing there baby and working on the farm, i like more of hank jr type ****. Thats basically my stuff, idk i just could never get the hang of the whole heavy metal sceneee.

Red Hot Chili Peppers in 91', back when they were in there prime.

yo meatus, not much a metal fan but i like punk and hardcore , ecspecially hardcore to lift too. i find it motivating as hell. i actually used to DJ hiphop in the mid/late 90s. I sold all my vinyl , which i regret very much, before i left for bootcamp. I had ALOT of rare and good picks. After the 90s hiphop (if you can call it that anymore) went to shlt. Not sure what you like but id like to recommend some good hiphop to download and check out. at least theyre some of my favorites.

Black Moon
Smiff n Wesson
OGC
Big L
Mobb Deep
Gang Starr
M.O.P. (that would be great to lift too)
Pete Rock
Black Star (aka talib kweli and mos def) a must listen if you havent
Heiroglyphics

thats a few of the top of my head i would absolutley check out if you havent heard em before. you wont be sorry , promise....

The vid above is "Life's A Bath" by John Frusciante, it was made in 97' when he left the red hot chili peppers, or at least i think he left in 97', it was somewhere around there. That song along with every other one on that album is pure raw emotion, he was on heroin strongly throughout that album and that video above shows him shooting up, he actually made that video of him shooting up heroin for the song.

Happier days with John Frusciante.
