The Iron Man Thread - Bench Training / Journal

Going to be a killer leg day tomorrow!

^^^ same here brother, nothing is better than a good leg day! deadlifts!!

Brutal leg day.
Did squats and then Leg presses. Beat the crap out of those sticks.

Then did some grocery shopping. Bought 7lbs of steaks that I cut up into 14 steaks (eating 2 a day).

Looking forward to working hard this week.

Noticed inclined skull crushers on this page? Never wen thought of that. Thats a totally different angle to hit tris. Thanks for the idea. Do you know which head of the muscle it specifically targets?

Can not give you an honest answer on that,.
I actually implemented them because it puts less strain on my elbow. Flat skull crushers kill me, incline I am pain free.

After the skull crushers I do some v-bar pushdowns and that usually concludes my tricep work

I have never been a fan of db kickbacks so I don't do them.
I have always been a close grip bench (on smith machine), dips, cables, and skullcrushers for triceps

nothing is better than close grip bench for tris, throw a chain on each side.. youll feel those puppies for a week

I couldnt agree more. I wish we had chains at my damn gym! I am stuck there for a year. After that I will probably drive the extra 15 miles and go to a World Gym. They have all that good ****

I lift at a y. There is a guy who only has lifting in his life.. no family or anything. He buys stuff all the time. He bought extra clips, blocks for benching, chains, a lift fir deadliftibg. He makes stuff too
