Cinnamon Donut Chips Ahoy

The description is Cinnamon and Apple Donut Flavored Chips. The cookies like the S'mores and Red Velvet I reviewed not too long ago are very soft, moist, and chewy. The downside is these suckers are small and can be gone in a matter of two bites even at 150 kcals per 2 cookies.

Opening the package gave me a strong burst of cinnamon, a small hint of apple, and just the right amount of mixture to match the name of the product. The great news is that these donut flavored cookies do, in fact, taste like donuts. The cookies are soft & floury; chewy but with a good heft to them. The cinnamon flavor is pervasive without being overpowering . The flavor profile has a sweet apple cinnamon base to it that I associate with powdered sugar. They taste much like Cinnamon Pull Apart pieces with apple chunks, not like the apple cider donuts with raised cinnamon. In fact, the apple doesn’t come through at all.

The mini chip pieces don't give a huge apple vibe to them at all. The Donut and Cinnamon aspect are definitely there, the cookie lacks the apple flavoring, but sometimes it is hard to encounter all aspects in a small nabisco cookie. Not that I am going to say that is a bad thing, but the name is misleading. In the end it tastes like a cinnamon donut, being that they missed the apple flavoring you cannot say they live up to their name, but they are still good.

My overall grading: 7.5/10

Pro's of the Cookies:
- Strong Cinnamon Flavor
- Very soft and chewy
- Strong aroma out of the container

Con's of the cookies:
- Lacks Apple Taste
- Slightly chemical apple flavor
- Very small and can lead to consuming more the necessary

From the pic on the box you would think these had a light/pastry like cookie similar to the tj's cookie butter cookies, but it's actually closer to an Oreo. The shell is a hard, lightly pumpkin flavored cookie with good crunch to it. The star of these is the creme cheese/cheesecake filling. It has a nice sweetness to it, along with a subtle tart that any good cheesecake has.

Overall the filling far overpowers the cookie so if of want heavy pumpkin flavor skip these, but the combo of light pumpkin and solid cheesecake imo was actually quite good. Wouldn't say these are top notch on the "pumpkin cookie index" mostly due to the lack of pumpkin flavor but for just another cookie they're decent. Worth a try for cheesecake lovers for sure as that's not a flavor that comes out strong in many cookies 7/10
 
Raspberry Crumble Kuchen:

Moist chewy dough, fresh fruit, sweet and crunchy crumble top. The other one I had with a custard layer was even more epic, but it was fantastic nonetheless.

Very good, worth a pickup if you like yogurt. There is a nice blend of apple and caramel I would say the caramel presents itself more so than the apple. I would say it is about 65/35 caramel to apple. It would probably be great with diced apples in it!

This morning, we stopped by the local donut shop (Grandad's) for fresh donuts right out of the fryer. Also tried McD's blueberry cream cheese Danish 10/10. The flaky pastry part of it tasted like a fresh croissant. Driven2lift get this as it seems to be CAN only.

Think of a fried doughnut hole, except that this fermented milk product quark goes into the dough. That makes it incredibly moist. And with the Nutella inside...money.
 
So a box lasts you a day.. Thats about a months suppy? not bad...
better then chugging 2L's and buying nothing but TV Dinners like typical americans and paying more :)

Hell i can't even find pumpkin spice cheerios in any of my stores.

I believe most of the successful people here work 40+ hours a week, train, prepare meals and do there house choirs, and listen to the fat people that do the bear minimum at there job, stop at McDonalds for diner on the way home to sit on the couch and tell folks how they would workout if they had more time.

Vermicelle Tart:

These chestnut "noodles" are typical here. They have the consistency of thick mashed potatoes and are not very sweet, more deeply nutty. Under them there was another layer of whipped cream. Tart was soft.

New experience but won't repeat.

There is a reason why this is a Vanderbilt exclusive flavor and has been a top seller on the Ample Hills line. Sweet, salty, and savory you name it this pint delivers it. If you are a fan of honey comb cereal, sweet nectar honey, and chocolate or potato chips you will be in heaven. Easily a pint I could rescoop and never get sick of. This has to be one of my favorite flavors off the Ample Hills lineup.

It Came from Gowanus is better, but the taste of NY is no longer available for purchase.

luckily i got pb for the win, the new apple flavor and no sleep till pumpkin coming in soon
all which will be good!
 
Physalis Cheesecake Tart:

Fresh fruit with pleasing mix of tart and sweetness , addition shredded coconut is noticeable in both flavor and texture, cheesecake base is light in cheese flavor and closer to a cream, tart is soft and moist without spices to distract attention, crunchy sugar pearls. On Point.

It's not a matter of won't But a matter of can't. Ice cream doesn't last a week or two on a front porch in 90+ deg atl
