The epic food porn thread

I like the yeast donuts better in general - lighter, better consistency. The jelly (pb+j donut) was way more real tasting. Red velvet was way more authentic tasting.

Wife really enjoyed the strawberry cheesecake - agreed on yeast donut lightness.

Saving my sour cream glazed (personal fave) for later).

Overall...awesome. But Paula's got some bonkers donuts too! I can't choose just one!

But Paula's angel cream and peanut butter cream can't be beat.

Agree DK is much lighter - their lemon meringue, straw cheesecake, pb&j and fruit filled krumbles are the best.
But Paulas angel cream is insane and sorry to break it you Paulas sc glazed (my fav too) kills DK (so little glaze) :(

This is a moot point: there is no such a thing as "wasted money" when shopping at TJ's...they literally accept all returns...even if it's an empty container.

Skirt Steak - red curry - marinated with avocado crema, diced onion, and herb mix.

Tilapia - yellow-curry "blackened" with chipotle mayo, pickled nappa cabbage and herb mix.

Korean BBQ Brisket - topped with chile de arbol/gochujang salsa, Kimchee and scallions.

I think NYC might of had the Seinfeld one at one point.

The food at Saved by the Max ended up being great. It was a chef from a Michelin star restaurant. Matt Skiba the vocalist and guitar player for Blink-182 was there eating too.

I had korean 7 spice wings, chicken and waffle, and twinkie infused icecream.

What in the world?! If you showed me the food pictures and gave me three choices of where the food came from, that place is the last one I would choose. Never choose a book by its cover I suppose.

Recently had a box of Kroger PB Chip mates. Best PB cereal I've had and one of the best in general...

Disappointing to hear that. All of the Cheerios I have tried I have liked.

huh, i really liked them. def not a "real" flavor, but i dont know how that would happen without actual berries

I actually have not seen them in the box recently, only the economy size bag lol. But never on clearance :(

Not gonna lie I haven't seen the box for awhile either. I picked up some from Aldi (I think) I have yet to try, but I'm betting they're the same.

Pros: A fine and scrumptious flaky layered pastry without the poop-inspired peanut butter flavored icing. Surprisingly balanced buttery crust with sweet, gooey strawberry jelly. More substantial eating than a Pop-Tart.
Cons: The absolute vilest and most repulsive peanut butter flavored product I have ever put into this temple I call my body. Peanut butter icing tastes like a 50-50 mix of sweet and low and peanut butter flavored extract. Poopless review streak coming to an ignominious end.

Agree that strawberry is a hard flavor to nail, but "natural" banana is similarly complicated yet some brands like Blue Star nail it in their powders while all others end up somewhere in the Laffy Taffy/Cream Pie zone.

Can recommend. Quality meat, very well sized burgers, smart selection of toppings (inclusion of pickled onions on Lola was brilliant), and generous with meat on fries.

Got some sugar shack for a post workout today. Literally 6 of the red velvet doughnuts. They're the best red velvet item I've tasted by a lonnnnng shot.. Place is top 10 in the country for doughnuts apparently
