The epic food porn thread

Live not even five minutes from a brand new renovated kroger and its quite nice let me say haha. In there multiple times a week! Even can get pretty much every walden farms product there and hugeeeee organic section. with protein foods and such stuff.

I'm so jealous. When I lived in Columbus I was surrounded by high-end Krogers. It was amazing. Then I moved two hours north and all I have is Giant Eagle. At least I have a GE Market District nearby, but I miss those nice Krogers!

Yeah I also love Kroger, I usually hit up the one in Port Huron every time I have a trip to our plant near the CAN-US border. But I am sure it is not as good as some others (their cookie section SUX), they probs want to keep the best stuff away from the Canadians.

Were there a thread for grocery store hauls,

Costco posts will dominate lol.
I can't not fill my cart completely when I go

One of my favorite Oreo's is back
Reese's PB!

Kroger's rule
I would invest stock in carbmasters if I could.

I hope those are here somewhere... Jana is going to want that asap.

Very much a pb/choc girl

Though I'd try those too for sure.
+ throw hapf a box on top of PBC pancakes with Reese' spread

My two favourite things!!

Also, Company store day is the best day of the week :)

What deal do you get?
Any cute co-workers? ;)

It really depends on the week. Sometimes they have decent selection; sometimes not so much.

Typically there are always 4 for a dollar Häagen-Dazs pints; but again you get what you get flavour-wise. Today there were the huge bulk tubs of the hard ice cream in there for 5 dollars each. But it was pretty much all vanilla. Some sleeves of 6 Pints for 5 dollars but again; vanilla.

In terms of chocolate bars and things like that it's pretty much always the standard Nestlé fare. Sometimes we get cute little "festive" stuff. Like plastic eggs full of Smarties for Easter etc. At Christmas Quality street tins are pretty cheap for us.
And we stock After Eights and Turtles all year.

We have Nescafe products, stouffers, Lean Cuisine, frozen pizzas, baby formula, dog and cat food.

As for the cuteness of coworkers; that's usually a little difficult to judge when we're all wearing hair nets, safety glasses, and "bump" caps lol

I love Turtles, they should be eaten all year round!

Love those ice cream sandwiches!

Just grabbed my eats for later.

I dislike microwave, and even a lot of theatre popcorn,

But a good kettlecorn or jalapeno jack from Kernels is worth the cals to me.

Thats for a movie night with the mrs. Where I will also be trying/smashing Red Velvet Oreo ice cream...

Fingers crossed.
Interestingly its about 50 cals higher than all the other oreo tubs on the same line, I've had mint oreo and standard so i can compare if the taste is worth the bump

I did not think they were that great really. The Oreo bday sandwiches are better IMO, different flav/taste of course but sooo Goood.

They're basically crack. With sprinkles.
The operator on that line just knows when I'm there that I'm gonna be eating some fresh out of the freezer haha

What happened to Graeters?

For popcorn, Low fat popcorn and sprinkle some cinnamon + Splenda on it.. its not bad and has a good chunk of fiber to fill you up.

i did not get the deep dish LC Pizza but this is something new they are revealing.

^ ugh.
Looks like regret.

Bet it tastes great til it hits your stomach and you curl into a ball in pain. Cheap cheese and grease aren't my kind of pizza

I bet Canada won't get any of these...sigh

I feel like every decent sized city has at least one legit pizzeria

At some point I have to accept that LC always lets me down.
Unless I am drunk, then it is gold.

Kids seem to like LC as well. We took daughters to a really nice organic/locally sourced woodfire place in town.

They weren't impressed lol.

My wife is from the Steubenville, OH area and the pizza style is different, but amazing. They put fresh cheese on after baking and don't melt it. It's so good. The top two places are Giannamore's and DiCarlo's.
