Cool. I would have expected you to use one brand of protein all the time due to you affiliation. Pretty cool that you change it up.
 
Might be cool to get an AM thread started on best protein brand/flavour.
I don't really trust the Stack3D protein wars voting, too mainstream.

Agree about Stack3d
I would suggest

Cost Effective:
PES, Pronom (even though its on DC), Scivation Whey, MT Platinum, Animal Whey

Costly but good:
Metabolic Nutrition (PB Cookie, Butter Pecan), XF 2.0 (LCP, Choc Mint, Butterscotch, Mocha), Beverly (CNC), Blue Star Iso-Smooth (Vanilla) ((Could be the best on the market))
 
Your way ahead of me lol. I buy a lot of my protein from a site that allows me to customize my own blends/flavours.

In terms of Branded proteins...
PES snickerdoodle was bomb.
Trutein Lemon Meringue is also amazing! Also like Trutein Pumpkin Spice.

I just finished a tub of UP 2.0 butterscotch and liked but was a bit disappointed b/c I heard such good things.

I'm opening Cellucor s'mores & VPX Graham cracker this week so we'll see how good those are... I enjoyed confetti way more than I thought I would.
 
Personally I like Body Nutrition(Trutein) Orange Creamsicle. Best tasting Orange on the market in my opinion. Beverly Rocky Road is really good too. Cellucor PB marshmallow is really good. And now PES Blondie joins the ranks of those.
 
I'm on the fence about Trutein for quality but they do have a few good flavours, I always pick up the limited pumpkin pie

Yep. Same here. On the fence about quality but sometimes taste is a deciding factor.

Agreed. I'm a pumpkin pie fiend!! Trutein pumpkin pie is the only branded protein I've reordered.

Their flavors sounds good. However, I had the cinnamon bun and it was very bland and chalky. I refuse to try anything else due to some crap with them on another board.

Looks like a strung out criminal to me.

When what looks like someone took a pipe to your head before a mug shot is never good, and that dead/hollow/empty look in his eyes is a dead giveaway he doesn't give a damn about anything but making a dollar.

I wouldn't worry. Stuff shows up all the time in items. Not every item gets checked. A percentage gets checked.

Hes been with BN since day 1, so yeah i would be concerned beause there is no 3rd party test, they were a 40/40/20 Whey/Casein/Egg now its like 45/30/15 because he does not want to pay for the higher egg prices in his product.
they had to change their name (TruNutrition) before after he went to jail the first time.
 
So if it's now 45/30/15 what is the other 10% lol.

How many companies actually have legitimate 3rd party testing? I know Cellucor does or at least did.

I could really care less about the actions of the owner. If I started buying based on that then there are very few things I could buy. Anything made by a large corporation would be out as all have been found guilty at one time or another for "knowingly" breaking the law. That's why there are so many class action lawsuits and tort lawsuits.
 
Bob, another question for you. Do you happen to know of a "good" tasting Orange protein powder. I've had the Dymatize and its good in a shake but not so good with the oatmeal or pancakes. Flurry had one a few years back but it wasn't great. I've not seen any others. That's the only Trutein powder I buy. Not happy with their price point and have been wondering about their quality for awhile for some reasons you mentioned above.

DId? we have had our stuff tested 3 times and each time the test came back the same in the 3 scenarios, even a guy from over seas tested the protein and it matchd exactly what marc got in his video review as well .
Controlled Labs did on Pronom and came back tested.
MT Platinum series has been tested and came back correct their phase 8 on the other hand not so much lol
MTS Nutrition and marc's products are all tested
Scivation has been tested Mike McCandless has even posted the tests online same with Xtend.
PES has been tested and came back above label claims (on Stack3d)
Dymatize failed twice in the past on label claims so i am kind of skeptical on them.

Never had a good orange protein, i think Substance WPI may of had it in the past ( i know they did fruit flavors) but unsure. i would have to ask Mike being the owner of Scivation/Primaforce. Ill see him at the arnold and i emall him often.

I agree- they're far from awesome unless they're super fresh. We have 2 here.. But I prefer a country style doughnut. When one can't decide between doughnuts and waffles... Make KK waffles
 
Bet those chcolate strawberry ones will be killer.
One of these days I'll test my gut out with poptarts but I have a feeling it'll end crappy. Lol

PES SD or Cellucor CS would be great to have sludge with FTC. The iForce Brown Maple Sugar Cookie would be epic too.
