The Day You MODERNIZE Your Protein! ModernPROTEIN Coming!!

On top of this, I found quite an awesome combination for a shake: 1 scoop modern vanilla protein, 2 tbsp walden farms cal free syrup, and about a cup of almond milk. Thank me later folks! Maple vanilla dream

Tried out the chocolate tonight (in ice cream, same as the vanilla). Mixes up slightly thicker than the vanilla. The flavor is, again, a basic chocolate. I do t know if I would call it rich, but it is certainly a slightly stronger/bolder flavor than the vanilla was. I enjoyed it as much if not very slightly more actually and I'm not a chocolate person.

Same as vanilla, it's a basic flavor, fairly average, but enjoyable for its common nature.

Got mine tonight and broke right into the vanilla ice cream. Used two scoops to make... You guessed it, vanilla ice cream.

It does mix up slightly thinner than OE but still has the same creaminess. The ice cream came out with a nice thick texture, but still fluffy enough that it expanded a good bit in the mixing bowl.

Flavor is a sweet, creamy vanilla. Very similar, if not almost identical to the OE flavoring. Nothing flashy or original about the flavor but a good, simple vanilla. If you liked the original, this will suit you well.

Overall I enjoyed it, but it's definitely nothing original or different. An average to good showing of a classic flavor.

Both flavor reviews.

I reviewed the vanilla earlier but will do another and include chocolate since I just opened it.

Vanilla:

Taste: 9/10. Best vanilla I've had hands down. Slight French vanilla/vanilla bean taste at first and finishes with a creamy vanilla ice cream texture. The only vanilla or vanilla based flavored I have ever enjoyed in water. In fact, 90% of my shakes have used water because it's so good.

Chocolate:

Taste: 8.5/10. This isn't your average milk chocolate flavor. It has a dark, rich chocolate flavor. It was actually a nice surprise and very refreshing. Definitely one of the better chocolates I have tried. It's also a flavor that the more I try, the more I like it. I usually don't put protein in my food but proats with this flavor were great

The following criteria apply equally to both:

Mixability: 10/10. Mich improved upon from the original OEP. The only blend I have ever been able to mix with a spoon and not get clumps.

Consistency: 10/10. This protein is a little bit thinner which I love. Honestly this is what I was most ecstatic about. I hate thick protein shakes that you have to choke down. Plus, it made me enjoy proats because it's the only protein that didn't make it too much of a paste

Overall: 9/10. Honestly, the past few months have been a struggle for me. I have been switching between proteins trying to find one I could consistently buy. I loved the profile of OEP and Select but much preferred the consistency and mixability of regular whey. This is the perfect combination of both and I can say outright that this will be the only protein I buy for a long time.

Now hurry up and for the love of God get strawberry out. That was my favorite protein flavor of all time right above the old blueberry ergopharm gf-pro. That's saying a lot

I am in for this
Taste 10/10
I received two flavors but have only tried the Milk Chocolate, I found it to taste very good and very Chocolatie not watered down and no after taste Just Plain Good!!

Mixability 10/10
First off let me say I mix my shakes in a blender so I do not usually have a problem, except some formulas will settle be for I drink them. This is not the case with the USPlabs Modern Protein.

Formula 10/10
I love the 23 grams of Protein with only 1 gram of sugar and 3.5 grams of fat.

Drinkability 10/10
This is just a combination of all of the above categories, it mixes smooth with no grit, taste just right, not tart and not to sweet, the chocolate flavor is just right and not weak or strong. I also like the thickness, not watered down, but you also do not need a spoon to eat it. This Protein Powder is a Winner!!

Blueberry sounds awesome. I can already see all of the recipes Bob will make using pancake and muffin mixes ;)

Nice one, glad you like chocolate just as much as vanilla!

Good to see you in here Rocket. Thanks for the review and lottery entry!

Here's my entry.

I tried the Chocolate today. Very tasty. I used a blender bottle with 16 oz whole milk and 1 scoop of the chocolate. Mixes well, but I didn't let it sit much just drank it down. I lean more towards thinner protein drinks these days. Used to like the thicker ones but my tastes/preference has changed. This chocolate tastes more like a chocolate milk mix. It's different than any other chocolate protein I've tried. It's "chocolate milk" like. Hard to describe, it's not overly milky or creamy and at the same time it's not overly chocolate....

One thing I really like about this is that it doesn't sit in your stomach like a lot of thicker proteins. A lot of thicker proteins sit in my stomach and bloat me up. However with Usp Labs Modern Protein I can drink it with milk and not feel any bloat at all!. I mean with this stuff I could have a steak and have this with my meal, or after my meal for a "desert" in place of something sugary. It really helps kill a sweet tooth.

I don't want to open my vanilla yet, because I probably will let the chocolate sit there and not drink until I finish the vanilla if I did. Usp Labs Oxy Elite Protein vanilla was my favorite vanilla ever. So I gotta drink the chocolate first, and save the best for last!

Chocolate tastes great and people like different types of chocolate flavors but without a doubt, vanilla is almost singular and our vanilla is just world class...

what's a go-bag?

Oh, my bad -- just my duffel that I pack up with everything necessary to get my workouts in as soon as I wrap up at the office so I don't have to head 20 minutes in the opposite direction home, first.

I have one duffel that just has my basic supps and gear (workout notebook, headphones, straps, preworkout, intra, etc.) and then another that I pack the night before with my gym clothes to change into (and in this case, my basketball gear -- shoes, extra towels, etc.).

I always take an empty supp container (size of a Jack3d tub) and put my protein (and if using dextrose, that as well) into it and then just dump it into my shaker there (since I use the same shaker for my pre, intra and post). I'll use the bottom container from the USP shaker on occasion, but only if there's about 40g protein and nothing else -- can't get as much in there as what I normally drink.

A 2lb jug of protein usually lasts me a month. Vanilla Modern Protein is almost done in 2 weeks because it tastes so good. Might have a problem

Damn. a tub will last me longer than a month. i usually do not go over 1 scoop a day (protein) i try to eat at least 200g of protein a day.

Usually take 2 scoops after a workout. Then a scoop at the end of the day if I haven't gotten enough protein or if I have to make a quick breakfast. My job almost makes it impossible to eat whole foods all the time. Can't eat in the operating room unfortunately

NO bueno.

I use 6 scoops per day!

At least two scoops a day here. I love protein!

Probably 3-4 scoops a day- I keep a stockpile of at least 50lbs of protein and at least 10 different flavors
