Yeah I had a bottle to use up before my X-gels. Figured I would use it in the beginning because by the time I get to the 2nd and 3rd bottles I will already be pretty saturated in ArA and start feeling it's effects.

Wait, I just used CRON-o-meter and the peanut butter that I eat (Skippy natural) doesn't even contain any omega-3 fats. lolz.

Not all PB contain omega-3s. I believe if they do, it will be on the label.

Increase those calories dude (if you're trying to gain). You can honestly take in a good caloric surplus on the stack and benefit greatly.

I believe Nyrin was commenting on his ABE run a while ago and had increased his caloric intake a large amount (can't remember exactly how much) but wasn't gaining body fat. Said he felt like a furnish the whole time because his body and metabolism was running through the calories.

I plan to starting this coming week. I've been at 200p 500cho 100f and haven't gained a pound.
 
That's an awesome problem to have. I am insanely jealous for real haha I love food but my metabolism is tanked currently from a hard cut... 500 cho might send me to the hospital

Lol it's a blessing and a curse. Some days Ive been miserably full because I'm getting like 70g of fiber.
 
I haven't read through this whole thread, but Arachidonic Acid has had me curious ever since I first discovered Molecular Nutritions Xfactor. One thing that has always stopped me from pursuing it is what I've read about it and Alzheimer's. Anyone have good reading on it?

I got 1 bottle of x factor advanced....as I see people suggest SNS x gels or the original X factor...can I do a cycle where I use my bottle of AFA and mix it with X-gels? also if so which one should I start with?

AFA 1-4 Xgels 5-8 or the other way?

Use the XFA bottle first, then start with the X-Gels or X-Factor.
 
okay thx dude...and its true that its better to use X gels or the original XF? also why did they make that "upgrade" then:

XFA was put into production because some individuals complain about headaches and joint pain from ArA. So the omega-3 addition into XFA would eliminate or at least help with those issues. But we know that omega-3s negatively impact (compete for metabolism) ArA. So yes, go with X-Gels or X-Factor.

Although endogenously produced ARA is involved in many disease state pathological cascades- with very little exception, dietary ARA would theoretically not be involved in the origin aetiology of the disease.

I just bought two bottles of x-gels but this theoretically makes me want to send them back :/

There is a large difference between endogenous production and supplementation. Case and point would be cholesterol, for example
 
Would ArA interact with TTA? I'm not planning on running them at the same time but I'm on TTA now and have XGELS on hand. Probably going to run them during the upcoming lean bulk
 
It would be very hard to say that Ara supplementation causes Alzheimer's
I'm not suggesting that it causes Alzheimer's by any means, but I've read studies that show It improved cognitive function due to organic brain damage or aging, but I've also read the opposite. Just would like to see it discussed and hear what people's supported thoughts are.

I read on a board a long time ago that x-gels were under dosed. A member weighed the capsules and compared to the OG xfactor and they were shown to have significantly less mass. Can anyone advise me as to whether or not this was misrepresented or if there's any truth behind the matter. Any SNS reps have data I can read through of testing of their product etc?

Sorry man haven't been up to date with Ara for awhile since last time I ran it I was not a fan of the joint issues I had but I am thinking of trying it again now to see how I react because I loved the strength gains I got from it. What's the deal with SNS vs MN ara?

Just givin ya crap. But yeah, that was all taken care of and X-Gels is good to go.

No issue with SNS vs MN, just two companies both offering ArA. X-Gels and X-Factor are the same thing.
 
Thanks man I'll definitely give SNS a shot then if I decide to pick up some more Ara since it's generally a better value.

I go with SNS also as I can find it cheaper.

I know I need to avoid omega-3 when taking ArA, however since I am bulking and stacking with anabeta elite, I'm having a hard time avoiding sushi. Can I consume this the days I'm not using ArA? Also, I've been using 4 pills pwo. So far so good. I've heard others doing from 6 to 8 caps. Would you say the severity of DOMS be the indicator as to increasing the dosage? Thanks!

You will be fine consuming Sushi even on days you dose ArA.

6 (1.5 grams) gels seems to be everyones sweet spot and is the dosed used in the most recent study. DOMS are hit or miss depending on individual. Some notice them severely, while others notice none.
 
how would ARA work while taking Clear Muscle and PA?

If you were to consider the proposed MOAs of each supplement there would be very good synergism for stimulating and activating protein synthesis via mTOR and ribosomal kinase enzyme activity.

ARA: precursor of PGE2 which can activate PI3K/Akt/mTOR pathway

HMB: Increase expression of mTOR and associated downstream kinase activity.

PA: Directly bind to and activate mTOR and also undergo hydrolysis to lysophosphatidic acid which can bind Ras-MAPK and activate PI3K/mTOR

This will be fairly hard for me to do, the only time i can get to the gym is after work at night. I finish work at 6pm, have my evening meal by about 6.30 and get to the gym about 7.30. When would people suggest i dose? An hour after food wouldnt be classed as an empty stomach would it?

Just dose on your way to the gym or right as you start your session.
 
Any supplements that help meet the GMS and Carnitine limits outlined in the first post to help with ArA?

Soy lecithin granules can be sub'd for gms, plus you get the added bonus of them containing phosphatidic acid..and a baby aspirin can be used instead of the carnitine...
 
This is an amazing thread, and actually made me postpone my stack by a week to get other necessary sups in the mail. I've read through much of this thread but haven't found the exact answer I'm looking for.

I'm looking to put on 10lbs in my 8 week stack half of which will be lean mass. I'm 31yr, 158lbs and 5'9". 11% BF Macros and cals are in check. I use a HR monitor and app to track them both. Plan on eating 500cals over maintenance. But what I need help with is how to order and time things for the supplements to work best.

My current plan:
6am wake up
banana
33g protein shake
2Tbs SL
2g ALCAR
5g BCAA
2.5g Taurine
3g beta alanine
200mg caffeine
3 ABE caps

7am (immediately preWO)
1.5g ArA
200mg caffeine
5g BCAAs

15-20min run (to warm up)
5g BCAAs intra

PostWO
3 ABE Caps
2Tbs SL
3g beta alanine
5g creatine
33g protein shake
1/3 cup oatmeal (~25g)

I don't have any GI issues with forskolin. I recently used on on a cut where I was completely fasted with yohimbine HCL every morning.

Question is:
1. Everything suggests you take ArA on an empty stomach, but SL is an emulsifier, so do I take the SL immediately preWO with my 6ArA caps? Or take it 1hr prior with my other food as I have for the past 2 days?

2. Should I move around any other supplements?

I don't want to over think this. But thanks in advance for any feedback.

You want to take ArA with L-Carnarine or baby aspirin and GMS. With the GMS, is it the glycerol that helps emulsify? In other words, would a product with Hydromax be better as it's more glycerol?

Current set up looks good. Personally i dont think theres a need to change anything

Hydromax unfortunately isnt a suitable replacement however soy lecithin is. Not having GMS wont make or break the cycle though
