HOpe things work out for him. I have been through this (still am)... all we can do is hope that they start making better choices. At that age hard to tell them what to do without simply losing them.

I got in 5# of erythritol, 2# powdered erythritol, and 5# almond flour today. Was wanting to make a treat tonight but that'll have to wait.

The young one (14) has signs of similar behaviors his older brother had. I think I told you guys what he did earlier this summer. Because of that he has a court ordered curfew at 8pm until he meets all their requirements. Had a huge talk about it yesterday because he wanted to go to a HS football game. What do you know, he breaks curfew and goes to a friend house anyway with the excuse of "I wasn't thinking about it". We don't buy it.

Finaflex Clear Protein Vanilla Cakebatter


Calories per 1/8: 123
Fat: 4g
Carbs: 8g
Protein: 13g
shown in 1/4's and 1/12's


Ingredients:
CAKE-
1 cup Vanilla Cakebatter Clear Protein (100g)

2 tablespoons coconut flour (18g)

1 teaspoon baking powder

1 cup unsweetened applesauce (222-244g)

4 tablespoons 60% Cacao Chocolate Chips (I used large; 30g)

FROSTING-
4 tablespoons Greek cream cheese (56g)

1 scoop Clear Protein Vanilla Cakebatter (36g)

1 tablespoon erythritol (8g)

1/4 cup ***e 0% Greek yogurt (56g)

Instructions:

Preheat oven to 325F, line pan with parchment paper, spray with nonstick spray (I use coconut oil spray).

Mix Clear Protein powder, coconut flour, and baking powder.

Add applesauce. Mix well.

Lightly stir in chocolate

Bake for about 25 minutes, and check to see if the cake is firm. If not, check every 1-2 minutes until firm and a toothpick comes out clean. Be careful not to overbake.
Remove cake from oven, and let cool.

In a small bowl mix room temperature Greek yogurt cream cheese, ***e Greek yogurt, erythritol, and Clear Protein Vanilla Cakebatter to the consistency of frosting.

Frost cake after cooled

I sprinkled unsweetened cacao powder on the top, but you could drizzle a protein/yogurt mix or add more morsels if you wish.

Cut into pieces, and enjoy!

My friend is doing the first World's Strongest Woman there today - she's 0.2 points away currently from 1st in Lightweight - I think she will win it tomorrow. She has no weak events and she's so damn good at stones. We'll see!

I don't think I'm there yet. I'm entertaining the idea of a food truck that caters to athletes. Charging for meat by the ounce, sides by the gram with macro specific combos. If I were to ever do that I'd offer sweets as well.
 
Not a bad idea to let that shoulder heAl up man. A food truck is a great idea man. In college I wanted to open up a gym / smoothie bar. With snacks and healthy food options. Now just if I could come up with 100-200k and get it rolling lol.
 
I mean you don't need to bench to get stronger/build muscle, just find a press you can work with. Db, floor, overhead. Whatever you can make work to progress will be perfect!

I did DB work only in my 20's for this same reason. If I remember correctly, it took 6-8 months last time to heal.

I just want a 600 bench. Is that so much to ask?
 
Going to get lots of hurricane/TS rain tonight. Hopefully we have power tomorrow so I can go to the gym. No work for 4-5 days.

I also tried to bake tonight but didn't get what I wanted.

In other news, my mom is in her 70's and still working because she still has a mortgage. Fortunately most of her work is online, but it's getting harder for her to get around. We decided to withdraw some money from our 401 and pay off her mortgage. That'll happen today. She's going to be so happy.
