She told us she's been gradually getting worse at getting around and when we were leaving a restaurant she could barely make it to the truck that was pulled up to the door. She's too young for this. We are at the ER now. ☹️

My dad never even made it to 70.

She doesn't eat barely at all. I hope that's it, but we've known her nutrition has been an issue but she just won't eat.

Well that's definitely an issue too. My grandmother is the same way. Geriatrics can be so stubborn!
 
Her sodium is "critically low". They are going to admit her.

It appears as though the transmission may have cracked. Not sure, I'll take it to a shop later in the week.

The docs seem to think it's more than malnutrition. The loss of appetite is a symptom of the problem. Something else is causing the sodium to be so low.

When seeing those sad posts I don't know how to respond. I wish that everything works out for your mom.
 
Thank you everyone. She's being released today. She has maintained her levels and her energy has greatly improved.

Working on widening my squat and push the knees further out. Feels better on the warmups but I rolled forward on the balls of my feet on the heavier sets. I'll jump back into dieting and keep squats light as I work on form. 365 felt heavy but that's expected. Going to paint some, then make some protein cookies, then FSU football!!

Exactly this Reg. I know where you're at, i had the same struggles not too long ago. Just gotta get some work in even if it isnt your normal amount, as that could just run your motivation into the ground even further.

Although, I really think what kind of "reset" me was just taking that entire week off when my brother and I took that trip out west then coming back to a different program.
 
When life gives you lemons, squat. It won't fix life's problems, but there is something therapeutic about fighting to deal with that weight your shoulders. It's a metaphor for life - you may leave whipped, but you're still alive and tougher for what you've survived.
