I have to say this must be a something you younger guys like and do. To each their own I guess. I'm old school so when going for a PR you go all out. Never looked at PR's the way some of you guys do either though. I'm the very opposite. I like to go to a weight I think I may fail on. If I fail then I can judge how much more I have to work to get there. There are levels of failure. Usually you can tell how much you are off. Nothing wrong with either thought processes, just different training styles and philosophies.
