TGR's Modified PowerBuilding v2.0

The rest of my rack came in. One of the bolt bags had spilled open during shipping shipping and as I was looking through the popcorn for the washers I found a razor blade. Sweet.

Does everyone have their rack bolted or screwed in the floor? Jim, Simon, Mark?

If I don't work tonight it's going up. Finally.

Platform isn't thick enough?

Only 1". I had just under 91" and requested the rack be just under 90". I didn't have the room. You think securing it in that 1" would suffice?

Hmm, Idk. I think mine is only 1.25" and I haven't had any issues.

To clarify, that's 1.25" bolt length.

I went in 1", not including .25" of steel above wood and it's pretty sturdy. If anything changes I'll go in the concrete.

That looks way better than I expected it to, not that looks matter compared to substance. And looks like you've got substance

Should've went with 2 tone powder coat!

I wanted to. The color I asked for would've cost extra because he didn't have it on hand.

Niiiiccccceeeee gym! Welcome to the HGC(Home Gym Club)! To answer your questions from above: I think that fastener would be better than the carriage bolt. I used concrete anchors for my rack and Ironmaster smith.

The set up looks great Thomas!!!

And mine is not bolted down in the garage as it butts up against concrete lips, but once in the basement it will be. (Little concerned about sinking a bolt in cement floor...)

Looking awesome!

Thanks!

It just takes a little work and a hammer drill. It wont compromise the floor.

First day squatting at home today. I'll get a general idea whether I need bolts into the concrete.

I'll likely do more in a little bit.

I love the taste. I typically use avocado oil when I cook anything. Unless it's protein pancakes or something of that nature then I use coconut oil. But haven't in a while

Oil in pancakes? What's your recipe?

Agree x 1000. The home gym stares you down and makes you submit! Killer lifts in here.

I made a mini glazed cake. It's one of the tastier things I've made but not the prettiest. I almost dropped it pulling it out to test the texture and while securing it my palm went into the top.

That's why you put the Stimul8 tub next to a shaker of water on your bedstand - mix, slam, hit snooze, 9 min later you're getting your Crocs on and out to the garage for Super D Mobility!

Not a bad idea

Crocs? haha

Donut looks bomb

If you ever wear a decent pair you'll understand. Like having a memory foam pillow for your feet. The Walmart ones don't count

None of them are decals, I painted it.

It's set below parallel and at a 2x2 so I can add layers as needed.

Thanks!
