Kudos - strength isn't just poundage moved, but volume & intensity, & those have certainly been on the rise here for you since you've been getting back in the swing. Just saying in case you haven't noticed, but you're making fast progress.

Really glad to hear bp is around 150 now - world of difference from where it was. Hope he stays there (or lower, if it can be achieved safely).

His BP just read 171/90, but for him that's not bad. He is expected to be released today, as soon as his ECG reading comes back.
 
Off day. Got up at 0330 and had a headache. I started to et one yesterday while in the leg press on the latter reps and it never really shook.

I had an issue this time last year with headaches on chest day, so I didn't want to risk it. I thought it boiled down to Yohimbe, but I haven't had issues recently. I'm thinking it may be Zyrtec because I just started it again....

But could be dehydration also. Didn't have a whole lot of water yesterday.

On the bright side, my quads are getting larger.
 
Ouch! Headaches are no fun! Do you think it has anything to do with your eyes or the extra stress too? Regardless, I hope you feel better! Congrats on the quad growth!!! That's awesome!

It could be. Haven't pinpointed the cause yet. I usually don't get many headaches.

I do the two arm BB rows and they are tough. I bet the one arm version is killer! Doing work brother! Hope that headache issue is solved soon. Is it caffeine withdrawal?

Thanks Mark. I think I even like the one arm row better than meadows rows. It warmed/pumped my lats up good.

Oh, no. Lol. Between my 2-3 cups of coffee and the Stimul8, there's no way it's caffeine withdrawal.

I am wondering if your issue is BP related or just sinuses? Headache was when you were bent over... when I was on some 'goodies' when I bent over I'd get a headache and my face just felt so much pressure... do you get pressure ???

I don't feel the pressure that I normally do when/if I have high BP. But, I'm focussing on breathing and trying not to hurt to focus on the pressure. It also hurt on the partial pulldowns.

I swear, it's identical to last year, and I've never cycled anything. That's why I'm thinking seasonal allergies or the Zyrtec.

It is barely noticeable right now, so we'll see what happens. It was prevalent all day until I closed my eyes for 1/2hr at lunch.

Thanks Kat. I tried to do fronts but just didn't have it in me.

Well hope it goes away / gets better soon....

I'll eventually figure it out. It just sucks in the short term. Lowers my motivation to lift, too.

Well... The insurance took $109 off. I can't expect them to give me all freebies.

Some meds are life saving and a necessity while others are just merely to improve your way of life. This one is the latter, and I can't be that mad about it.

But... I'll still grumble. ;)
 
Not going to completely rule out BP for the headaches. I'm actually feeling pressure now. However, I don't really notice a headache.

Our BP cuff will not fit my arm, so I'll look into getting a larger one this weekend.

Yes, true! I agree completely! It's ok to grumble! Meds without insurance are priced differently is what frustrates me but I'm sure they're just trying to get as much as they can from the insurance companies.

My face feels very flush, warm, and full with pressure this morning.

Fortunately, it's bro day, and my risk of headache is low.
