3g on lifting days post w/o (assuming you lift at least 4x/wk) will actually be enough to maintain your load, assuming you were saturated properly prior. I can't remember where I've read it, but I believed the source & go by that now.

That being said, the university studies over 5 yr spans even prove that creatine mono is totally safe on all the organs even at doses as high as 25g, ED for 5 yrs! Zero changes of significance to organ health. So you really can't overdo it; you'll simply be using what you can & wasting the rest.

Tell him to ask his teacher what role creatine plays in the phosphagen system. Aka what makes energy for short term intense exercise. LOL.

I'm not too worried about her 'recommendation'. I was doing 3G on all lifting days (5-6/wk), but pre. I thought the time you took it didn't matter?

One of the nurses was going over what I wrote down as my med list and couldn't even pronounce it. I think somewhere down the line they latched onto 'it's a steroid'.

The DOE is a complete joke. But, almost all government entities are. Including mine.

This weight gain could also be due to the meds. BMs amount to 2 to 4 lbs. I wouldn't sweat it.

Right? I was just thinking that it wasn't too long ago that an issue like this would go untreated and eventually lead to blindness. Or, at least close.
 
Glad you made it through ok Thomas. Do they do one eye at a time? or both same day?

One at a time in case there are difficulties at least one eye works.
 
I'm on par to hit just short of 2400 calories today. It's tough to not eat as bored as I've been.

I've spent most of the last two days on the couch. I want to take ECA or some other thermo(s), but I'm worried that they'll increase pressure behind my eye.

Tomorrow i should be able to increase activity a little bit, and I did get the nurse to say that I could do "light jogging" starting next Thursday.

I wouldn't take ECA if you have never taken it before (can't remember). Wait till you are recovered and can exercise.

I've taken it a few times. I remember I didn't really like the way I feel, but no specifics.

222/290/77 with 48g fibers.

The peanut butter and protein bars (x2) set my fats and carbs up so much higher.

I'm going to try for fruit/veggie/juice day today. I can afford a day of super low cals if I can commit.

I'm also going to try and go for a walk. I'm tempted to take a dog, but I think wrestling with the leash is a little too much for what in supposed to be restricted to. Maybe I'll track down a fanny-pack, a moo-moo, and do a long-stride power walk. Lol
 
Slow and steady brother. You don't want to chance the dog jumping up while playing and catching your eye, right? Veggie and juice day. I like that. I have one of those VitaMix machines so I might crank that sucker today as well.

If you look at something like that PX Black you'd probably be ok because it is lower on the stim side. But effective - I have been taking it for 6 days and really helped me control cravings and keep my numbers in check.

I'd give it a few days for sure bro. In fact you get the other eye done in 2 weeks? if so, wait till after that. Not much sense starting a thermo to use it for a week.

Made baked brussel sprouts, finally, with the intentions of being good. They're so tasty.

I was never a fan until the last couple years. Very tasty, IMO, and more so baked than steamed. I got the baked idea from G-Wrench.

It was supposed to be tossed in olive oil, but I sprayed it with Pam instead and sprinkled salt/pepper on it. 375° x35-45m or 400°x30-35m.

Dunno. First time ever having it was tonight. It was macaroni pasta with what tasted like spaghetti sauce, meat, and veggies. Lol.
