My step son is taking Exercise Science in grade 12.. his teacher told him that Creatine is useless/does nothing. I told him, his teacher is full of sh(t
3g on lifting days post w/o (assuming you lift at least 4x/wk) will actually be enough to maintain your load, assuming you were saturated properly prior. I can't remember where I've read it, but I believed the source & go by that now.
That being said, the university studies over 5 yr spans even prove that creatine mono is totally safe on all the organs even at doses as high as 25g, ED for 5 yrs! Zero changes of significance to organ health. So you really can't overdo it; you'll simply be using what you can & wasting the rest.

Lol our education system at its finest right there
Hope for a speedy recovery bud.
This weight gain could also be due to the meds. BMs amount to 2 to 4 lbs. I wouldn't sweat it.197.6 (+8.2 in 3 days) Way too much bloat, lack of BM's, and couch time. :/

This is an amazing photo. Shows very little damage for such a delicate operation. Thank heaven for the times we live in.
Glad you made it through ok Thomas. Do they do one eye at a time? or both same day?
I'm on par to hit just short of 2400 calories today. It's tough to not eat as bored as I've been.
I've spent most of the last two days on the couch. I want to take ECA or some other thermo(s), but I'm worried that they'll increase pressure behind my eye.
Tomorrow i should be able to increase activity a little bit, and I did get the nurse to say that I could do "light jogging" starting next Thursday.
Nice job with the calories. I was over every single day for the last month and I have 11 pounds to show for it.
Time to cut.
I wouldn't take ECA if you have never taken it before (can't remember). Wait till you are recovered and can exercise.
Slow and steady brother. You don't want to chance the dog jumping up while playing and catching your eye, right? Veggie and juice day. I like that. I have one of those VitaMix machines so I might crank that sucker today as well.
My Dad bought this about 30 years ago:

VitaMix is built like a tank.
I was thinking if buying a ninja blender with the attachments this week. Does anyone have one? They seem like a quality product
Right on, will do! Sams club has them for like $150I don't, but if you get it let me know how you like it. Our 15yo blender is leaking.
I've taken it a few times. I remember I didn't really like the way I feel, but no specifics.
You think that applies to all thermos?
I'm also going to try and go for a walk. I'm tempted to take a dog, but I think wrestling with the leash is a little too much for what in supposed to be restricted to. Maybe I'll track down a fanny-pack, a moo-moo, and do a long-stride power walk. Lol

Probably with a high caffeine content.
If you look at something like that PX Black you'd probably be ok because it is lower on the stim side. But effective - I have been taking it for 6 days and really helped me control cravings and keep my numbers in check.
The protein bars you speak of with the high fat content - this is why I love those Quest Bars. Low fat, basically no carbs.
I have some with a lower stim effect that I'll use up first. Maybe I'll wait another day or two first.
I love those too. I'm trying to use up the freebies that I have in my drawer. At least I've stayed away from the Reece's and pop tarts.
I'd give it a few days for sure bro. In fact you get the other eye done in 2 weeks? if so, wait till after that. Not much sense starting a thermo to use it for a week.
I was wondering if those freebies were just that! Reese slammed into a pop tart - good stuff...
A Reese's smashed on top of the PB poptart! It would be gone sooo fast
Lol. That sounds sooo good.
Sh*t forgot the hot fudge sauce on that tooYou guys aren't helping me stay at my calorie goal.

Made baked brussel sprouts, finally, with the intentions of being good. They're so tasty.
So, I'll be having chicken, goulash, rice, and brussel sprouts. The fruits I've had today already threw my carbs in a tailspin...
Aaaaaannnnnnddd the neighbor brought over dinner. Dang. Gonna go over today...

Really? never been a fan of them.. perhaps prepared that way they are good?
Gotta like neighbours that care though! Pass the pop tarts!
How do you prepare them? like do you put something on them or simply toss them in at 350 for 30 minutes?I was never a fan until the last couple years. Very tasty, IMO, and more so baked than steamed. I got the baked idea from G-Wrench.
Like Hungarian goulash?Made baked brussel sprouts, finally, with the intentions of being good. They're so tasty. So, I'll be having chicken, goulash, rice, and brussel sprouts. The fruits I've had today already threw my carbs in a tailspin...

It was macaroni pasta with what tasted like spaghetti sauce, meat, and veggies. Lol.
