Hey All:

Just a quick note to say I finally got my test results from a long running natty test booster log!

The result is unpopular around here, but its official ;)

MassFX + HydrolX2 (AI) was top! In fact I was told for a guy who is not a teenager this level of test is excessive and is not healthy.

Icariin actually gave the lowest level of test despite the fact I was heaping it down - I was taking serious quantities of the stuff for a long time.

A brief cycle of DHEA/maca (2 weeks) gave moderate high test.

So there you go.

Interesting, I finished my previous booster and would like to try MassFX + HX2.

How did you get tested in this country? Just curious as I'd love to know my levels. I've had just about everything done apart from test levels :).
 
I used ZRT. I wasn't exactly happy with PP who resell the kit but it was a happy ending. ZRT do a good service. I was impressed.

I think the lesson of the log was to be careful about using AIs, although I would need to run formestane to be sure of this but I'll not be doing so now because there's a risk of going through the normal range threshold.

Basically an AI is to be used PCT only.
 
Did you have to send your samples to the US?

Which kit did you use?

I've only previously tried AX, IGF-2 and RPM as supplements so no AI like HX2. I'm over 30 so I think i might want to try that stack.

Well I was working in the US two weeks ago and sent my samples from there. Again it is a good service and well worth using. From the UK you'll need to post directly to ZRT.
 
Anyway the key result here is clear ...

AX (MassFX/HyperdrolX2) gives 50% more test than icariin.

That is astonishing.

It appears icariin/phyto-test does zip.

The results are exactly comparable (check the log).

The conclusion is clear.
 
I guess what is more astonishing is that I never found HyperdrolX2 particularly potent in contrast to T911.

I rather suspect that using the correct natty test boosters alone, test levels could be pushed above the normal threshold into teenager 18+ test levels.

with phyto test, did u check free test or just total? i think its supposed to help with free test instead of total, similar to divanyl. and any chance u could list a basic rundown on the actual numbers?

Why don't you post a direct link in this thread? I am interested, but already lost interest in scrolling through multiple pages of multiple threads.
 
The results might be skewed by the fact that there was something other than the listed ingredients in the formula

The test is saliva but is total test. I'm am pretty sure that SHBG is bit found in saliva. Its not a blood test where there is a big difference between the two. Basically bound protein shouldn't come through on a saliva test. At some point I'll check with the company. There is a minor issue about saliva test but I forget what that it.

Contaminated... I thought that would come up. I didn't experience any adverse consequences. AX is under investigation right now and I'm not sure if MassFX or HX2 is in there. I didn't feel great or any different at the end of the cycle ... I did with icariin. I didn't experience any gyno problems at the end of the cyle, I might have done with JW a while back. The MassFX/HX2 ran smoothly. I personally don't think their stuff was contaminated.

Values :
129 = AX
82 = icariin
106 = maca
Normal range 44 - 148.
 
Again the major criticism is that an AI will always win against non-AI. Okay, but can be accounted for. The other issue is the shear volume of icariin used.
In the end I got though:
1 tincture icariin
1 50g tub at 50%
2-3 (nearly 3) 50g tubs at ~20% (?)
2 pots of Phyto-testosterone

Thats alot of icariin.

Icariin/Phyto-test does cause a massive libido boost however. I suspect it was the icariin.
 
Briefly on fenugreek (phyto-test) studies, they do cause a drop in DHT (not necessarily a good thing but useful if you've gyno). They don't appear to increase test. Many phyto products, e.g. SJW and Gingko cause a suppression of prolactin. I suspect that is what fenugreek is doing. The study which concluded fenugreek does zip I don't think considered prolactin.

Oh come on really ... its an interesting log surely?

Anyway whatever you think I'll be running phyto-test and icariin separately in the future to check for differences between them.

The final cycle is now in progress.
 
The big criticism is an AI is compared with a non-AI. Hold fire on this for now.

However consider how well maca (plus light DHEA and low quantity ginseng) performed in this study. It is high quality maca.

There is a skew here though that the maca sample was the best quality sample in the study. The others would have had extra degradation for various reasons (log).

Even if the AX and icariin saliva test lost 5-10pg/ml due to degradation, maca alone has performed very well indeed. It did cause acne suggesting that it is doing something.

Anyway I liked thought the study was useful and DHTC is yet to come.
 
Quick note here - the maca in DTHC is potent. You can smell it.

To be honest its makes nauseus. Its a gelatin type maca, the dehydrated maca juice I normally use makes nauseus on an empty stomach. This stuff makes has a similar effect on a full stomach. It appears to be stronger.

Great info Matthias! Are you going to be taking DTHC by itself or will you stack it with something? I bet the new liquid Sustain Alpha + Divanex would be a great stack to try.

Okay I admit I'm running formestane (one dose per day) with DHTC, could switch to SA and ActiVate. That would be fun. I'm only 2 days in and feel zip. Formestan is easy to use it seems pretty harmless (?!).

.... Basically the criticism that you can't compare an AI with a non-AI cycle is why I used formestane. To be honest I think at 1 dose per day I don't find it that strong at all. I find T911 to be very potent and fast acting.
 
Icariin, while I haven't read about it in a while, was touted more of a "test. mimetic" rather than a booster. I can't remember reading any study that claimed it actually boosted test. Maca neither, for that matter. EDIT: I applaud your efforts, though!
 
Very interesting and props on your objective evaluation.

I was using ZRT saliva testing back in 1996. At that time, I observed a 55% increase in total test inside of a month with a product called Adaptogen N. It's a combo of high qualiy Trib, Longifolia, Suma, low dose DHEA and melatonin.

Same company that makes this raves about MACA. They're rolling out a 10:1 extract/super high quality Ginseng combo product soon and I can't wait. It appears I've overlooked MACA as an adaptogen. In that event, it'll be a happy mistake. I think Suma is in the same boat. The common material is junk, but that Adaptogen product uses a 25:1 extract. I think it's under-rated.
 
Thanks, the only thing I'll add is that the quality of a herb is really important. A good example would be ginseng, young ginseng does zip for me, 6-year old ginseng puts wild horses into me. To be honest I find 6-year old ginseng too strong because it disrupts concerntration but its the best pre-workout supplement.

Long jack has a big reputation, make that massive reputation. I've got a pot of 200:1. Nausea is the hassle I have with DHTC.

Very interesting comment you make on the Ginseng. The new Ginseng this company is using is aged for up to a decade. Avg is 7 yrs or something like that. I didn't think anything of it until you commented.

Appreciate it. Is your 6yr stuff Korean Red? I think that's whats going into the new product.
 
Yes the stuff I use would be 'red'. It will be top grade, its possible that 6-year will be the youngest root. I've bought ginseng from my local Korean store at a reasonable price - its not bad but not the potency of high grade stuff.

The age and quality of ginseng are major factors in its potency. You know when you've the right stuff, its like having an industrial scale stimulant that doesn't affect the brain at all. I suspect PP are looking to isolate the compound.

If they are using real stuff the price will be crazy expensive, at around $1 for 2 grams. However 2 grams is all that is needed. To be honest I use 0.75g max because otherwise its too strong. If you have caffeine it also helps you focus and concerntrate, quality ginseng has the opposite effect.
 
Appreciate the info. I had dismissed Ginseng long ago but your insight has caused me to re-consider it. I do know the company said it has a price tag to match the potency. So yes, I think its the good stuff..

Can I ask what brand you're using? I'd love to use it in isolation/higher mg amounts.

Also, how would you compare it stacked with caffeine vs. something like ephedrine/caffeine?
 
The ginseng ...

Its important to point out there is no extraction process. It just comes as a very hard root, very difficult ot break, actually its impossible to break without a hammer or a blender. The supplier use to get a reknown name of ginseng in Korea and now its a good name - but the potency is supposed to the be the same. All I can say is that its potent. Forum rules I can't name the supplier either by board or PM, he's a good guy and respectible stuff.

Kangwon Chulwon 1-19 is the stuff I've picked up from my local Korean store. This isn't bad but not in the same league as the above stuff. I've no idea what extraction process has been used - its all in Korean. Its 100% syrup. I've bought young root from the same place preserved in red date syrup and its not worth the money. It does zip.

If you're buying regular ginseng caps they do zip.

Stacking stims .. if you are cutting then stims are useful and think ginseng would do zip. For pre-workout I'd alternate with stims to avoid tolerance to either.

Top quality ginseng you shouldn't need to stack with any stims pre-workout and suggests the source is a problem.

Muira puama (Nutra powders) might be a good alternative to stims pre-workout. I've not tried it except in DHTC, its properties look interesting.

Log stuff I'm gonna cycle off DTHC for now and switch to long jack, maca, ActiVate and formestane.

I need to clear up the nausea feeling I'm getting from it.
