test booster increases natural testosterone production
Prohormones are oral steroids which are derivatives of testosterone. That means they are like the testosterone molecule, but with a few alterations. They will shut down the body's natural supply of testosterone because it sees them and thinks "wait we've got WAAY too much test"

yea I knew it was a newb question, lol. thanks for anwering though. so test boosters dont shut down the bodies natural production? even once you stop taking them? thanks.

Well test boosters work through a variety of mechanisms. But basically yes.
One of the most common ingredients in a test booster is an aromatose inhibitor. This will suicidally bind to the aromatase enzyme which converts testosterone into estrogen, leading to low estrogen. The body gets into a negative feedback loop, creating more testosterone so that it converts and increases estrogen levels. Only it doesn't convert because you're killing the aromatase enzyme, so the testosterone levels just build up.

interesting. so once you stop taking it, would both levels go back to normal since the body automatically wants a balance? Basically I guess I want to know, if I take a test. booster, im 23, will it mess my natural levels up in a negative way once I stop? I dont want low test. or high estrogen. As I understand, a test. booster won't shut you down but a ph will? Would weaning off of a test. booster make it easier for the body to reach a homeostasis, rather than abruptly stop taking it? thanks, I appreciate your answers. Rep ^.

once you stop taking the AI, the testosterone will convert to estrogen again and the levels will equilibrate so no worries
btw this is just one example of a natural test booster, but none of them will mess up your levels in the long run

thanks. hey I have these dhea pills, I know they increase both test. and est. If I take an est. blocker, is that essentially the same as taking a test. booster, same thing will happen as you said before?

u. mach, you are forgetting about aromatase rebound. the body will increase aromatase when it senses it has less of it, and increase production, and abrubtly ceasing the use of the a.I. will result in an increase in aromatase, and ultimately an increase in estrogen, and possibly side effects of estrogen. but this is dose dependant, and also depends on how long you take the a.i. for.
also to the poster, alot of times, manufacturers will label thier products as testosterone boosters, when in fact they are pro hormones (legal steroids), so it is wise when looking for a natural test booster to make sure it has no pro hormones in them, and alot of the times, you will have to research the product and find out for yourself, because the person selling you it, most likely wont know. for example, jungle warfar is advertised as a natural test booster, but has a substance that has the ability to convert into a steroid more potent than testosterone.
so when looking for a product, research that product, and also the ingredients in it, to be safe.

dhea is essentially a pro hormone, an unatural testosterone/estrogen booster. yes, it converts into natural test for the body to use, but, uh, how to explain this, it is an added outside source of testosterone. you hpta wont pump out the amounts of test naturally that you would get with supplementing with a pro hormone. dhea is the only pro hormone that directly convert into test. other pro hormones/pro steroids/steroids w/e you want to call them, convert into un natural hormones (the body cant produce) like bold 200, converts into boldenone, or tren (dienelone precursor) converts into dienelone. 1-ad converts into 1-testosterone.
a natural test booster will not have chemicals like these in them, and most will consist of herbs and other stuff that help increase test indirectly, and then some have other natural stuff in them. if your not sure about a product, and cant find info on if it's natural or un natural, just post and ask.
but dhea at normal dosage, 25-50mg isnt going to give you the results of steroids, even with an a.i. you may feel a little stronger, and better, but if you want to use dhea as a test booster, you will need large amounts, 750mg-1000mg each day, takin evenly spaced throught the day, ex: 200mg 5x per day for an effective dose, this is all addressed in your dhea+anti est thread, and explained in more detail. refer to it for more info on this dosage method.
