Test Booster That Doesn't Kill E2

Labs came back two months ago and my E2 was 17. I normally feel better in the 25-35 range. I'm not sure if the LJ100/Boron stack I was taking dropped it too much, but I know I'd like boost Free T without squashing my E2 that much.

All the products I see bouncing around here claim to reduce/supress E2, so does anyone know of a product that can help me increase Free T AND E2 a bit to get it up to my 'normal'?

It isn't that difficult (normally) to up E2.
Just plain oral DHEA will raise it.

(I realize this isn't the exact response you were looking for, maybe others will respond).

Yeah, i've been reading about DHEA and pregnenolone. Any suggestions on DHEA brand and dosage? And, should I add back in the Boron? ...Or maybe I was taking too much Boron at 9mg per day.

No, when I buy DHEA, I just grab a cheap brand from Walmart, or wherever. I generally use 25-50mgs a day if my Estrogen is low.
If you aren't getting follow up tests, be careful not to add too much.

I haven't been using Boron, so someone else would be better to comment on the dosage

... And yeah, if it were me, I'd probably add the Boron back.

Recently I did a blood work and my E2 was also at 17 after two months of Tongkat and 10mg of boron. However I’m doing fine at this level and not trying to change things. But if you want to elevate your E2 level you can maybe as mentioned above use a low dose oral DHEA and test few weeks later until you get your desired level.

Check out Neuro DHEA by Iconic Formulations - this is an amazing transdermal DHEA product that would likely benefit you. with our coupon codes you can get a bottle for $16. I bet .25-.5ml would be plenty and that would mean the bottles would last at least 2 months.

I don’t believe transdermal DHEA would do much for e2.

I used Iconic transdermal DHEA, and can confirm it did raise my e2 levels, which is what I wanted out of it at the time.

That's interesting. Typically E2 would increase, when shbg lowers, as there's more free T to be aromatized and less estrogens binding to shbg.

I think for Boron the typical recommended dose in the product labels is 3 mg / day and 6 mg seems to be what many use.

M-Test and Optimize-T both have a lot of great feedback and are designed to help increase both free & total testosterone levels. We don't load either down with estrogen lowering ingredients bc decreasing estrogen is not always a good thing and for people looking to do that, they can always stack either of them with Inhibit-E.

I've written it out in detail a few times, but a lot of people that follow my posts have seen me mention it - that I have a very complex and rare endocrinology condition - I've had every test you can think of, all the way up through a pituitary MRI and been to several specialists, including at major universities. Because of all of this, I have to get full hormone panel and autoimmune bloodwork a minimum of every 12 weeks. M-Test is the best thing I've ever used to increase my free testosterone levels; that's why I use it as a daily use supplement and have for a couple of years now.

Do you have any blood work done?
You said it does raise your e2 but you don’t know if it impacted your testosterone. How do you know if it did affect either?

Yes product labels recommend 3mg. products designed testosterone optimization contain 6-10mg.

I was taking 10mg but now I’m lowering it to 6mg. Boron is supposed to increase E2 but in my case tongkat and boron lowered it.

can you elaborate? This is a big part of the reason dermacrine and our other topical DHEA products are beneficial, particularly with non aromatizing designers and sarms...and why dermacrine also contains 7,8 benzoflavone and resveratrol to manage some of the conversion.

I don’t know about your product. I never used your products. My opinion is based on my personal experience and my blood works. This is why I asked the other member if he has also blood works done. For me It was the opposite. oral DHEA raised my E2 and no impact when I was on transdermal.

Maybe the td dhea you used was just bunk? Or with an inefficient carrier.

Oh really?

Following your reasoning maybe some of the TD DHEA on the market have estrogen in them.

Listen I gave my opinion. I don’t know your products and you don’t know what used so please dont try to discredit my opinion. I know what I used and the results I got. In my first post I mentioned oral DHEA already.

i'm on trt and just starting alpha four [4-andro] ultra hard [epi/androsterone]...when cycle is over i will jump back on dermacrine, i love the feel good effect, along with the libido boost and mood and energy increases.

?

Converting to estrogens is one of the main effects of dhea, wether oral or td. And with every transdermal/topical product the product is only as good as the carrier and creating an efficient carrier isn't really trivial.

I believe Phlojel is a good enough carrier for DHEA.

I have no affiliation with any supp companies/sellers and I didn't mean my reply to you to be rude or anything negative at all. It's just the first thing that comes to mind when you say it didn't raise your E2 at all. What would you say, if I said I took a bunch of oral dhea and my E2 didn't budge?

No disrespect meant here what so ever.

As I recall, topically applied hormones are more likely to be 5a reduced than orally consumed hormones. That can definitely reduce the amount of estrogen made available and could even (maybe, not likely) decrease estrogen if a person ends up with more DHT because of that. This is something that strikes me as likely being highly individual, so it’s hard to say exactly how it would affect one person or another.

this is some interesting anecdotal feedback...it does go against conventional wisdom, so you shouldn't take it personally when members have questions. Particularly if it's a home brew.

From what I recall, you're one to poke into a conversation and then get pissy about you wasted time when you get questioned or resistance

Depending on the application site, yes! We know DHEA applied to the scrotum is going to have greater conversion to DHT. DHEA applied to the stomach, or other areas with higher levels of subq fat stores may have a higher conversion to estrogen.

The answer really comes down to how you're evaluating e2... via bloodwork or feel/look? If you have a higher conversion to DHT, that DHT will never convert to estrogen. But, we would never see a 100% conversion of dhea to DHT, it would just be a greater conversion...probably still single digits of %. there would still be conversion to estrogen...but, the elevated DHT should help mitigate the effects of estrogen by compete at the receptor site. But, serum estrogen should still be elevated.

I’m sensitive to estrogen changes. My nipples got sensitive and puffy, and i don’t believe it heightened my testosterone levels because from what I know about DHEA, it doesn’t impact testosterone levels much.

I do wonder if it could be due to how the liver handles e2 conversion , as well. You take it orally and it passes vs with TD
