Terrible Hormone levels, Doctors not helping. Please help!

Wish you the best.

I think you should avoid all test boosters so you get accurate readings when you get tested.

True true! Makes sense

Its ok you won't be laughing when all of your poor lifestyle choices start to manifest themselves a few years from now. You sound so cool by the way bro. Brag on.

It was a joke . . . and I am real proud of my vodka intake and unhealthy diet thank you very much.

Spaniard:

Matrix may be awesome now, but I recall a few years back (2010 or 2011ish) him telling people not to follow their doctor's orders and he is not a doctor. This is bad on so many levels. My wife is an endo and dietician that also works with professional and Olympic athletes rehabbing injuries. Unlike most endos that primarily treat and are generally more knowledgeable about stuff like diabetes, osteoporosis, hypertension and etc., my wife is more knowledgeable about hormones and anti-aging. I recall running a couple of things he said by her and she was mortified.

I totally get that a lot of endos seem behind the times and conservative on hormone issues. There are reasons for this. Nevertheless, a treating physician has a much better and informed grasp on the situation if for no other reason than having access to a full chart and patient history.

There are males functioning fine with his numbers. Worrying about sexual function, libido and obsessing about labs may cause the very symptoms he is attempting to avoid. No doubt he could find a doctor, and Matrix may offer to refer him to one, that would be willing to script trt based on a 408 and the symptoms he allegedly presents. This guy is young and perhaps has a decent free test level due to low range shbg. There may be a reason his doctor and endo are not jumping to start trt and trt at 22 could be an unnecessary life sentence that may potentially cause more misery later.

To the OP- don't take any boosters that may alter your blood work- especially one as volatile as DAA.

Re matrix- the guy has good info and seems to work with qualified people that know their stuff. The thing that rubs people wrong is the insinuation that he is a doctor and that he is doing all the things he mentions. Once called on it, he corrects the comments to say that he is working with doctors that do this. He is smart and knowledgeable, but many think he is arrogant. Decide for yourselves based on his posts.

Well said and more diplomatic than I.

A lot of good info on the last few posts. I myself was very skeptical of Matrix when I first started a thread about my obscenely low Test level of 249 18 months ago. Through several PM's, a nutritionist referral, and some work, I was able to get off 5 meds that I took just for hyperthyroid symptoms. And through diet, lifestyle and supplement changes brought my Test up to 849. My results are not typical. And I actually do have a very good Endo and PCP. But I believe there are some lazy, outdated, worthless, closed minded ones out there unfortunately.
At the very least, I would always recommended accepting help from someone as knowledgeable as him, verify information/advice given, do countless hours of your own research, and keep an open mind. Ya, he brags a lot. But he actually does work with some pretty respectable people on very cutting-edge stuff.

That's really what I'm ultimately looking for! Help like that! I really don't have any desire to go on TRT, but at the same time I'd like some advice of supplementation and diet that could help me out! Tell the matrix to get in touch with me! I really would like some good advice from him! Like I said, I'm not the only person in this situation with these issues! Prednisone really messes with you! It sucks!

A guy that kicks it here in the anti-aging forum.

Besides the adrenal comment, he seems to have a handle on what he's saying.

And damn it ched, I've been telling you this stuff religiously for what, over a year? The ball is in your court dude. I honestly think the non-compliance with advice is due to an underlying psychological condition that needs to be treated prior to solving the rest of your health issues.

A few pieces of info in here. Again, I'm not claiming this tripled my Test levels alone or can yours. However, its a small investment. At the very least it will tell you volumes about your genetics, deficiencies you may have, and can help you make changes that will get you feeling better.

Sorry been busy with clients ..I got ur pm

Thank you. I'm off to work right now, but I'll respond to you PM later at lunch time
