Teach me how to EDM

Never was really into it before, but I've recently been getting into it. Not even sure how to classify it - house, edm, w/e. But, I've mainly just been listening to Avicii songs on Youtube because levels was the only one I knew of lol. What are some other good artists similar to it?

is avicci dupstep or techno? i dont' listen to it, but i know he's headlining lolla this year....look into skrillex (my buddy loves it for cardio), or check out dead mouse (he's a dick in real life) but people love his music as well

I think it's house, but I honestly don't know how to differentiate the different genres/subgenres yet. Since posting this I've also gotten into Skrillex, Deadmau5, and Daft Punk just through looking at related videos on Youtube. Love this song:
