The good folk at Gaspari were nice enough to choose me as one of the winners of the PLASMAJET giveaway - 1st of many. Thank you.

As I am presently working a 5 day workout split, I figure I'll mini log 1 of each workout, and see how the PJ treats me.

Just to point out, the company states numerous benifits when using PJ, but personally, for me it's all about the pump. Whe I get a good pump it gives me that push to work even harder.

Additionally I'd like to mention that I don't really do any seriously heavy lifts anymore - the risks outweigh the benefits for me. Instead I focus on completely controlling the weight both ways, with an annoyingly slow rep speed

Day 1 - Back
So I take my first 4 capsule dose 40 minutes before I get to the gym. I walk in and my buddy says "so you worked arms today?" I already had veins popping when I walked in!

This was what got done:
Straight leg dedz- 135x9. 225x9. 275x20

Bent rows. Close overhand grip- 225x9.245x20
Wide underhand grip- 245x20

Hammer Shrugs. 3pps x10. 4pps x10. 5pps x25

Standing Hammer iso rows. 3pps, 4pps, 5pps x10 each

And that was it.
Felt great the whole workout even without my usual stims. It's about an hour later and I'm still pumped!

Tomorrow we got some pull downs and ups (yes I split back) and biceps.

Did they change the formulation of PJ ? Or its the same as old school one ?

All the news blurbs call it reformulated. If I'm remembering correctly, it's working for me better than the old one.....I got in some extra reps and really slowed down on the heavy sets.

Subbed.....only real pump dedicated product I have tried was high volume. I was not impressed, but I am curious about this

Welcome. I usually don't respond to pump products. So far this looking good. We'll see....

Nice to see finally a log from you. Topic is spot on, everybody is chasing a good pump! I'm like you, I hardly respond to a pump-supp.

Day 2 - Biceps (n some lats...yeah I know I did back yesterday, but I save pull downs and pull ups to do with biceps....it works for me)

Freakyier and freakyier! I did not know I had a fat vein running down my left bicep until today - it just popped up! There's usually quite a noticable lack of pumped up veinage in my left arm, but not today! Freaky awesome feeling!

So this is how it went; everything controlled and annoyingly slow.

Neutral grip pull downs. 120x10. 160x10. 220x10. 180x15

Pull ups - mixed it up on the grip - 5x5

Hammer plate loaded precherz. 45x15. 90x15. 135x10. 90x25

Straight bar drag curls. 135 for 3 sets of 10

DB hammer curls. 35x10. 50x10. 70x5 dropped to 45x10

Ez bar cable curls. 1 drop set - 72.2, 50, 30 x25 each

Then me n my pumped up arms went home!

How long does the pump last?
I finished lifting about 3.5 hours ago and my veins are still popping.

Edit: ok - somewhere between 3.5 and 4 hours. I imagine it might be different for someone ingesting more carbs than me? Dunno...

2 points: 1)I was treating this just as a pump product, but somehow today I felt like it really helped me power through an annoyingly long and painful session.
2) Delt definition is fantastical! Never had this... I'm sold!

Here's my crazy day:
Seated BB Press. 45x10. 95x10. 135x10. 185x20. 155x20. 145x20. 135x30. Redonculous! Ok I have to admit that I was chasing the pump.....

Hammer iso delt press. 45per side x10. 90ps x10. 135ps x 15, 90ps x20

Reverse PecDec (rear delts). 120x15. 150x15. Monster drop set from 180 down.

Cable side raises. Endless. My weakest muscle but I hit 10lbs higher than last week.

BB front raise/hold/ negatives 135x10

Close grip bench. 135x20. 225x20x2. 155x30 really redonculous!

Oh tri ext machine. Stack and down for 15s

Rope push downs. Up th stack for 15s

Close grip push ups. 3x15

Just a note. When on PJ, you have to be careful not to overtrain as it just makes you want to keep going full force!

Squats n other leg stuff

I was wondering if I should even use PJ on leg day - I'm not lean enough to see a real leg pump - but I basically decided to use it for all the other claimed benifits. I'm happy I did - I got to see a hilariously exaggerated calf pump ; 1st time ever!

I have to admit that I did push the reps a little nutso on some movements just to see what it would feel like on PJ - Insanity!

Squats. 135x5. 225x5. 325x9. 275x15

Hack squats. 3 plates per side - x10. X15. X25 - yeah, I pyramided up

Leg press. 4pps 10. 5pps x25

Calf press on the leg press. 5pps. X20. X25. X30

Seated calf press. 3p x10. 4p x10. 5p x25. Burnout with 3p x75.

Done done done! Barely could walk outa the gym.......
I don't know if PJ helped today, but it was surely more enjoyable!
2 things I know for sure - i usually dont get such a rep count and I felt like I could just keep on going.

So the only thing i haven't tried yet on PJ is chest. As I'm hitting the road for a while, I probably won't get to the gym for chest till about Thursday. Until then.....
