Awesome day so far already... Woke up like a raging hormonal teenager and lucky for me the gf is pretty much like that all the time so we had a nice lengthy morning romp ha. Afterwards I decided to lift at home instead of the gym just to try out all my new equipment. I figured since it was my deload pull power day it wouldn't be an issue with maxing or anything and I could add in a few extra exercises since I'd have a few min extra with no travel time. Absolutely crushed my lifts. Everything felt light and I was able to add 10lb to my week 1 5x5 deadlift numbers with ease. Pull-ups felt easy too and my final fst-7 set of single arm bb rows had me pumped like crazy. Just an overall awesome workout. Whoever said that having sex before a competition or the like would hurt your performance was crazy. If I get some before heading to the gym I'm a total monster.

I can't wait for next weeks power days to try out my 1rm's. Just feeling strong these last few days and ready for some new pr's. I finally feel like I'm getting back to my pre-cut strength mentally and physically.

Pwo meal: 2c honey comb, 2c choc Cheerios, 1/2 rvc shake, 1/2 pb marshmallow shake, buffalo chicken pizza, and 1 of the 2 pumpkin pie cheesecakes (in the pic below).

Each cheesecake only has 488cals so yeah, I ate a whole one ;)

Still waiting to see if it sets up real well so I'm gonna see if it just needs to cool/freeze a bit. So far here's what I used:
1c ff cottage cheese
8oz ff creme cheese
2sc no whey! Pumpkin pie protein powder
4 tbsp cinnamon
2tbsp zero cal French vanilla coffee syrup
1 can ( 29oz) pumpkin
5 egg whites
8 packets Splenda or whatever sweetener

Mix all ingredients and put into 2 oiled (I used spray coconut oil) pie pans (it's too much to fit in one). Bake at 350 for 45min or until top is fairly hard. Insides will still be very soft but hot. Let cool as log as needed (fridge or freezer) until it sets to a good consistency. (Still working on this part so I may need to change things if it doesn't solidify enough... Looks like it will though)

Macros for entire 2 cheesecakes (I said 8 servings but that was before I realized it would take 2 pans ha. Could really be 16srv)

Legs hyper this evening. Dude. I crushed it. Was repping out for 8's with ease what I was struggling at 5-6 with 5 weeks ago. Legs were super pumped too which made it feel even better. These last few days I've just been full on in the zone. It's taking everything I have to leave the gym without going til I can't move. Only thing is knowing that fri/sat/sun are 1rm days... I'm gonna put up some numbers. Dedicating as much time as I need to work up to something beautiful. The excitement is nearly uncontrollable.

Bumped cals up again this week to 2500. Gonna keep going by 100 still until I see myself getting too soft. When I was lifting in my basement without my shirt on yesterday I can still see my abs pretty clearly and haven't had to loosen my belt since vacation so weight has gone up significantly but my waist isn't growing so I'm doing it right. 185 with abs by feb might just be possible ;)

I crushed my leg day too today. Felt great. Was hitting doubles on squats with depth I've never hit before... The Adipowers are legit. Got a video I'm gonna post soon too of constant tension half squats for 20 reps... Legs were gonna implode

Viva las Mexico. The gf went to mad mex without me tonight too... I'm all at home like "f you guys I'm eating chili and cereal all night". Honeycomb and pb Cheerios everywhere.
 
Rest day today and did some measurements. I try to do them every two weeks. Gained 1 lb. Illiac crest is still sitting around 4.5mm and most measurements are the same aside from .25 inch increase in shoulders, chest and forearms.

Going for my usually fasted walk with my dog but popped one of my dads Pyroxamine to assist in a little fat burning and to get my focus up to get some work done afterwards.

Life's been a bit hectic for me. Trying to balance personal training / athletic training, working for Myokem, and other things on my plate. I love the challeneve though, and the opportunities and what I believe is in the future. Truly feeling better "hormone" wise too. The sensation of being cold is never there, and just gave much more energy and feel lively. Still have to get an MRI on my pituitary gland to rule that out (doubt that's the issue) only because I fractured my skull 10 years ago .

As for training, my lats are absolutely fried from rack pulls lol. I really focused on activating those during the movements and they are so sore. The bottoms are shot. As boone said in breezy11 's log, its amazing the difference you feel when you focus on the muscle and not the weight. Could have done another 30-40 lbs on rack pulls, but chose to stay lighter and really focus on the musculature . that and bench press and any movement is just making my workouts feel more productive without the poundage on my joints or the care to beat numbers. Just focus on the muscle contraction intensely and keep intensity up and I'll continue to progress.

Long update, but I was due for one lol. Gonna gave a p28 pizza, or a p28 pizza burrito for dinner. Can't decide!
 
Push hyper yesterday went pretty well. I was def into the workout but not quite as much as the last couple days before. Hopefully i get back to 100% mentally in today for pull hyper. I KNOW i'll be amped for friday's 1rm legs though... so much excite.

My dinners have been all messed up as far as timing the last couple days due to hunting and hockey games. Basically just eating a later dinner and combining dinner and pre-bed into 1 monster, 2.5hr feast ha. Have been going to bed full as hell.
 
Off day today. Decided to kick it off by sleeping in and going in to work at 9a instead of 6a. Gonna feel like a long afternoon though.

Weight has gone up pretty significantly the last few days so I'm gonna keep a close eye on it through the weekend and then most likely keep calories at 2500 for another week at least. Obviosly this is not what I wanted to see as I wanted to get closer to 3k before stopping but such is life. I seem to be holding a good bit of water too so maybe its just a temporary blaot from the way I've been forced to eat fewer and much larger meals the last couple days.

Today will be lower carb/cals with the majority of the carbs I do eat coming from veggies and nuts. Prob will eat at about 2000-2200 cals with fats and protein higher then normal.

Workout yesterday was pull hyper and it was another stellar one. Mentally I'm so in the zone right now I can't even think straight. 1 more day to rest/recover and tehn its 1rm weekend. After the weekend I think I may tweak my schedule a little bit to add in another rest day so I'm only lifting 5 days instead of 6. Either that or I'll do a 3 on 1 off layout and my days will just get moved around each week.

While my weight isn't increasing (probably due to a successful reverse diet and the t4 from the synthroid) i'm progressing and getting stronger. Never thought I'd be eating 300+g of carbs a day and staying lean. Take care of that metabolism folks lol. I think my coach is increasing cals for tomorrow, thank god cause Magnitropin appetite increasing

1RM Weekend Update

So here it is, my entire 1RM weekend update. Didn't go in with any particular goals so that I wouldn't mentally limit myself or ego lift. Good form was the object on all lifts:

Friday: 1RM Squats
Worked up to 245 before starting singles. Hit 245, 255, 265, 275, 285, 295...305-Failed,Failed, 300-Failed.
I was pissed. I should have made a 5lb jump from 295-300 because I felt like I couldve hit it but I went big and it was too much. First try at 300 I just had a bad setup and got totally crushed, basically just lowered the bar right to the supports. Second attempt was much more controlled but no chance at getting out of the hole. Dropped to 300 and had a good setup and lower but couldnt get out of the hole, only came up about 3 in but couldnt go any further so the final 1RM was 295.Dropped to 135 and repped out.

Saturday: 1RM Bench
Bench has always been a horribly weak exercise for me so the numbers suck. Worked up to 195 before starting singles. Hit 195, 205, 215, 225, 230-Failed, Failed. Dropped to 135 and repped out. Final 1RM was 225.

Sunday: 1RM Deadlifts
Worked up to to 245 before starting singles. Hit 245, 255, 265, 275, 285, 295, 300 (made sure to get this ha), 310-Failed, Failed. First attempt at 310 I got it about 1/2 way but could feel my back rounding so dropped it. Second attempt I did nothing more then bend the bar so I dropped to 225 and repped out. Was definitely happy with 300 though so that was good.

Overall I really should have had 300-225-300 S-B-D but I messed up and ruined my squats ha. Oh well, 295-225-300 it is. I'm happy with the progress I've made the last 6 weeks as I was nowhere near these numbers at the end of my diet. Only place to go is up. Id love to see 315 squat and dead and 250 for bench by the spring time.

Yep. Totally not worth it to be a cripple forever. My gf's dad blew out his back like 8yrs ago and has had like 10 surgeries and can't work or even drive for more then like 30min without excruciating pain. He's like broke and jobless from all the meds and bills too. It's really sad cuz his settlement from work didn't cover hardly anything

Flying to Atlanta and back today for an interview... good timing too since I kinda wanted an off day after my 1RM weekend. It'll be nice to take the day off and just rest up. Planes galore.
 
Yesterday I did weak point stuff so mainly rear delt and arm pump work. Nothing crazy, as I wanted to rest up for today's power leg session.

Yesterday also marked an absolute butt raping from Myokemist to my fantasy team. Dude had Demaryius Thomas AND Andre Ellington... needless to day, it didn't end well

the owner has been to jail twice, and he refuses to post a COA of his product
He also reduced the amount of egg protein on his label too but yet the price is still the same
People have found O-rings and Rocks in their powder, and their customer service is pretty meh based off people with problems.
Not my cup of tea. I am not a big fan of MP Either, I have met Casey in person and he gave me a bad vibe by how he treated me.

Greg also (owner of trutein) would stalk the owner of Scivation when i worked the booth for them, and came back every hour asking for mike and demanding to talk to him and kept asking me to find him. Found it quite odd.
