Ehhh I'd like to be leaner in time. I don't plan on competing for another 10 or so months. I should have some time to make something happen.
 
Notes: right shoulder and left hamstring by my knee are still jacked up.

Meet notes: 70lb meet PR on bench, 75lb meet PR on pull and 10lbs over my best geared meet pull.

Girl notes: got a girls number from the meet. Milf, hot, and great personality. She lives 2 hrs away but that's OK. So far so good with her. Pretty much given up on my co worker.

Told coworker I liked her last night. I just wanted it out there before I committed to the milf 100%. I'm a one women kinda guy. Parents raised me right, or really wrong depending on who you are.

Results. She said she was sleepy. Comes to work today and acts like everything was normal. I brought it up again. She says she can't talk about it at work. Then tells me some crazy stories about her being a bisexual. I'm gonna assume I got my answer lol.

Best thing you can do now is cold shoulder her, which is great for 2 reasons: you'll prob never get it, so you move on w/ enjoying your life & 2. a lot of chicks used to getting attention will just take your current situation for what it is, but after you've shown em attention and cut em off they don't understand the loss of attention and chase your nuts down. This type of woman usually has other issues, but on the plus side she'll prob be an easy lay. Don't give her any more of your time, but you might get lucky.

I agree on the second part. Any girl I've been with that was into me didn't make excuses or give me the run around. She just got what she wanted.
 
Side note: I've been leaning out like crazy since the meet. Since I haven't been training I'll admit I'm struggling to eat. But I have been eating my normal cals the last few days. Good for my confidence but not for this milf since she likes a touch thicker overall lol.

Notes: felt great squatting. I won't ever be needing oly shoes for front squats as I had no issues with depth today in flats. I could have prd on the beltless front squats but left it at 275. Paused it to double check tightness in the hole. The 20 rep sets were for "fun". The 185 got pretty hard. Been a long time since I've done something like that. The rest was blood flow work. The only thing that hurts my hamstring are ghrs. So those are out until its all healed up. Feeling decent.

Pretty sure that's what Chad Aichs said he would do for lunch when he was trying to gain weight. He was also over 400lbs....

All caught up on everyone's logs. If anyone following me has a log let me know and I'll follow.

OK so I have zero idea what I'm gonna do for off season work atm. 5/3/1 didn't really do jack for me this meet. Most of my improvements came during the last 6 weeks of prep with priplens (sp?) Table. To say I'm happy with my bench is a lie. I hit 345 paused in the gym last august. I know I need something more aggressive to really push it. My pull was probably always there considering carryover from gear. Squat also.

I'll take any suggestions. I'm leaning towards somethings but I'm curious what has really helped you guys out.
 
Without getting hyper specific, why not just hit the big lifts in the 6-10 rep range and gradually increase volume (intra session or through frequency) over the course of several weeks. It'd probably be best to work in some sort of variant (i.e. high bar, CG, ect...that you perceive as a weakness/limiting factor) as the main movement for at least 1/2 of your sessions. Variation in the "offseason" is good, but I don't like the thought of not hitting the competition movement for too too long. Regardless of what the literature says. As far as assistance, pound the muscles you want/need. However you see fit. 10 weeks in an offseason/hypertrophy block should do ya good. I know, I really didn't answer your question...

All true. I feel bench needs to be addressed by lots of hypertrophy work in the entire upper body. Delts, pecs, bis, tris, all that.

Predator was the only thing that has moved my stagnant, awful bench in a long time. And I kind of enjoyed all the bro work on my upper body days. Long, hard sessions but it paid out. Don't do this on a cut, though.
