After much reading ive realized why i never got the carryover i wanted from de work, my percents were all off base. I need about a 75-85% top weight when doing it. I was never that high. I understand squats you use a set of briefs that allows this to be done. But for bench what percents are used? Off raw or geared ect?

I always thought it was off of your raw bench.

De bench w/ chains
185+80lbs chainx8x3, 4 cg and 4 comp grip. Would have done more bar weight but one i suck at cg and two i couldnt unrack 270-280 top weight alone lol. But felt good to use some heavier weight, 75% raw max at top weight 50% geared max at top weight. Set a timer and kept rest to 1min and gave each set all i had.

Notes: ive been super tired the last few days and i cant figure out why, ive also had mild headaches too. Im on 500mg test, just upped from 250mg 10 days ago, also on 20mg ol osta. I test ran the ol osta before with no issues for a week. Do you guys think its just over training? Bp? I had it read on a wrist one at class and came back 140/90 but ive read those are inaccurate. If this keeps up im not sure what to do honestly. I thought it was lack of sleep before as i had two 4 hr nights last week but the last 3 nights were all 8-9 hrs. Any imput welcomed here as i dont want this to become an issue.
 
I think you might want to stack up a few more nights of full rest before you make any judgements.
 
I'm sure you know but just incase you don't you could add in some Hawthorne berry or celery seed to help some with BP cheap. Could even just be stress.

Louis simmions does also. I figured this was mostly training related and why i stripped my programing to the bare essentials and added conditioning/gpp so i can get healthier. Any suggestions for hawthorn berries or celery seed?

Not positive on a "best" one to use, but I think if trying it out just go with a house brand or now or something just to try cheap. It's inexpensive stuff.

Notes: i really like how the sled hits my delts and feel better doing something even if its just 5min. Headaches still present and weight is down 3lbs so its not bloat related. Also still tired. Overall impressed with cg bench and should push it in the off season.

Notes: rough start but managed to pull myself together form wise and hit my numbers. Easiest and best squat of the training cycle so far. Skipped gpp as i was training for 3 hrs when i finished all my work and just wanted to rest. Pr on reverse hypers.
 
How's your gear fitting and feeling right now?

Very tight but fits like a glove. Ginny did an awesome job. Bloated, not bloated, it seems to perform the same each time. I havent pushed a huge bloat for a squat day yet bc it fits so well without it.

I've debated on pinching the hips on my briefs, but don't want it too tight since they start to collapse my knees out of the hole when they're too tight.

I just gave my measurements to ginny and said to make it fit like a glove. Got it back and works like a charm. Only issue ull have if you pinch the hips is it might not get over your legs, so id split the front and have velcro put on so you can get it on and tighten back up.

I can always blow up the legs with a basketball. I've had to do it with my shirt and DL suit already.
 
Ok so lethargy and headaches are gone after adding hawthorne extract and aromasin 12.5mg ed for 3 days. Still very bloated tho. Its an odd stomach bloat mostly that makes me feel like im gonna pop after drinking water and barely eating anything. Think its estrogen related and continue with asin daily?. Once i start to stabalize at this dose ill get blood work done.

That's pretty bad lol. Systolic at least. I wonder why.

Either i just cant handle high doses or ita rbc related. Mine goes up on 150 a week.

I assume rbc or trest related, which i added yesterday and did 15mg. Not sure if one shot of that could be enough to cause a problem tho. Estrogen is lowered and bloat is gone so its not those.
 
Made the smart decision to drop trest and lower test to trt doses again. Im close enough to my goals that it doesnt matter at this point. Id rather be healthy and perform better bc of it then be loaded up and be struggling due to health. I may add something the last 4 weeks if all clears up over the next 2 weeks. An oral or something i know doesnt jack me up.
 
That to me is what makes meet time so brutal. Adding in drugs, dropping conditioning, and starting to overreach. Makes for a rough few weeks and an overwhelming desire to feel healthy after a meet.

Ive never done the drugs part or the drop the conditioning part until this meet prep. Add in gear and its just all around brutal on my health. I should stick to dht based stuff as i respond well to that. My hairline doesnt but oh well. I couldnt feel my feet all day until just now and i can see clearly again. Doubt id make it to the meet with sides like those lol.

Lol. I hear you. I enjoy the dht based stuff as well, but I really liked trest. I didn't stack it on top of test, though.

What dht based hormones are good for strength? And what ones are good that arnt 17a methylated? I think trest just really stimulates me, im so up and full if energy, barely sleep either, did you have a similar reaction?
 
I only took oral trest preworkout, so it didn't affect me that much. As far as DHT for strength, its corny but I love epistane. As far as nonmethylated, I don't really know of any that are all that effective off the top of my head.

Oh i see, yeah ive used mentabolan. And im trest is a totally different animal even at 15mg ed. I love epistane tbh, probably my fav hormone next to test. Ive never run it over 40mg tho. I was trying to save money by using what i have on hand, trest, test, dbold, and osta. Any particular brand of epi you prefer?

I've tried Havoc and I can't even remember the last company I used, though it was legit. Blackstone, maybe? Try to find it in 15mg increments, I like 45 over 40, but 50 starts the diminishing returns and having done as much as 60 I would say 60 is absolutely not worth it.

I think ol makes it in 15mg caps and enough for 6 weeks, think they are good? There osta is legit. But i also have this dbold here, i wanted to try that. Choices.

I hear good things. I hear Costa might help my strain bounce back faster. Your thoughts?

I think ill ride out with what i have, even tho orbit has ol epi for 36 for 6 weeks of 45mg. Such a steal but im pretty broke. Osta makes my joints feel great, my tendonitis is gone and my shoulders feel great after each course of it ive done. Id recommend trying it, ols is good to me and orbit has a 25% off coupon.

This is so true. It makes me feel like a pansy that I'm already looking to being done with meet prep. Each week is such a different experience in terms of how the weights feel and it really ****s with my head. I know that the mental aspect of a meet is by far the most difficult part for me.

545 to one boardx0,0 miss grooved the first rep, felt my lat strain that i got on sat and the weight lose had my shirt so loose and my joints are dry. Groove was great, finally back on track. This shirt is to loose for me tho, i am getting a brand new tight sbp next weekend to play with so ill see how that goes. My bench form is able to fit almost any shirt really. I killed it in a retardedly tight overkill my first time in. The arms on the jack are just loose and i get no lockout power or carryover.
