Notes: lat origin on left side cramped pretty good while benching. Other then that felt pretty good. Still winding down. Matched a pr. Need moe rest, mobility work, and rest.

Notes: this was a bloodflow and assessment workout. No real load was lifted. Hips/hams/quads are tight. Need to address them before the meet. I felt crazy strong tho. Confidence is on the rise. One more workout were i assess my bench/arch and get some blood around my shoulders/elbows.

Notes: all seems on point. I feel very good. Getting lower body on track. Bench and arch felt good. Also my deadlift gear fits perfect at around 225-226 bw so that where i will aim to end up after weighing in. Will do mobility each day the rest of the week.
 
Weight was 221 this am, i cut all carbs today and will quit consuming water round 9. Will prob sweat a touch before bed.

Yeah don't get fcked by a heavy ass scale like I did!
 
My scale matches the obb scale pretty close. Its the same one brian uses for meets. I may head over there before driving to weight ins to double check. Ill try to be 218ish tho so i have some wiggle room.

Why not weigh in tonight?
 
Currently at 218. My wrist wraps seem to have gotten up and walked out of my gym bag tho. I am double checking my house, they werent at obb.

Bombed on squats guys. My opener of 733 was to light. I just couldnt get it down and gased out on both lifts. Went up to 755 for a third and smoked it but they called my for depth. Said i was high. Just wasnt im the cards today.

Thanks guys. I should have opened at 750 and went 800 then 800+. Lesson learned. Never open at the min in your gear, always go a touch over it to have wiggle room.

Tough luck today man, but you learned for next time and you'll be that much more prepared to post a big total.
 
Geared lifting is really falling off the map. Sucks.

It just has it's little havens and that's it. When I saw the XPC Finals last year, it seemed like 80% of the lifters came from three or four gyms.
 
I think geared lifting is awsome but as long raw lifters continue to close the gap between the 2 I think it's going to continue be come less and less appealing not to say there aren't great numbers to be had its as geared, just the huge weight gaps aren't there. That's just the way I see it could be wrong only been doing this a year
 
I can see that. At this rate geared lifting will be dead. Makes it hard for me to keep that fire for it.

Makes me wanna gear up and hit big numbers before it all goes away. At least single ply isn't dying. That stuff has surprisingly good carryover, at least the shirts do for me.
