New gym; I'm now a member of 4 (2 of them are the Y, so same thing, 2 locations), so I wanted to DL at the bigger Y because the have a platform. I roll in, warm up, agile 8, bike, etc. I immediately notice that this place is chock full of no-etiquette dipshyts. Leaving crap loaded, scattered, etc. Deep breath. Lets do this.
Warm up really well since it's E day, want to get reps in. Build up to my work set of 335. I was fully into my music so I didn't get the first 2 sets on video.
What'd you miss? I'll f'n tell you. This college aged kid tries to squeeze between the platform & weight tree to GET BY; not get plates, clips, or anything, it's just the shortest path from the fawking preacher curl to the bench. He does this on my 2nd rep and bumps the bar on my way up.
Kid didn't even slow down. I chucked the weight, threw my hat at his stupid ass, and advised him that his day could get better or worse depending on how close to me he came again.
I'm no bad ass, I don't look for trouble, but if I or he had gotten hurt because of laziness or carelessness, then what has anyone gained? He left, I finished, but I trained f'n angry so I overdid it in a good way. But I'm already sore.
To reiterate-I'm not bragging because I'm a "tough guy", because I'm not. I'm sure I could've handled it better, and hopefully this kid is more careful. Kinda feel bad now.
Anyway, here's a pic for reference. He was walking from where I'm standing, BETWEEN the plate tree & platform, to the bench behind. Really?
