Swanson-Cube Method to July Comp

Anybody have any thoughts on Havoc (epistane)? I've used a couple prohormones like this a LONG time ago, but haven't even thought about it til recently. Just curious.

my experiences with epi were "meh" at best. it was one of my first once i started learning what pro hormones and designers and pct and all that were, so i followed the recomended doses of like 30 mgs a day for 4-6 weeks and i wasnt as impressed as i was from following the recomended doses as per the label of CEL mdrol and hdrol both. i dont like tanking out my e2 like that either i'm quite prone to rebound gyno and i have a few bad joints that get achy with too much ai.
 
Thanks for the feedback. I'm looking for an easy oral to stack with TRT, which I'm on. I stay pretty on top of my e2 (enough so that I have yet to use an AI after a year on TRT), but if it's a concern that it totally dumps it, might not be for me.

Never been much of a super supp guy; at 37 the only non-prescription "steroid" I've used we're M1T and transdermal 4AD, and even that was 10 years ago.
 
Nice, easy cardio day today. My fat loss is not moving fast enough to get me into the 275's, so I'm going to pick it up a bit by throwing an extra cardio session or 2 into the week.

I, on the other hand, have had two excellent experiences with Havoc. I like 50mg for 6 weeks. Strength definitely is there, with no huge weight gain. I'm a big fanboy of it.

PM-went to the local HS and walked/ran. My oldest daughter is a 200m runner, so I ran a few of those (poorly) with her, pushed the blocking sled around for old time's sake, jogged a couple 100 yd passes. Just nice, easy exercise for about an hour. DL tomorrow mf'ers.

Alright fellow PLers-I switched my meet to the USPA Centennial Classic (Colorado) on 8/17. The why-I know a bunch of dudes that'll be there, my family is in CO, and it's an IPL World Qualifier.

What I'd like from you; keep my ass on track. I need to total 1271 (raw) @ 275 to qualify for worlds. I'm GOING to f'n qualify, and I'm not accepting anything less. I'd like to think I could just hit my openers & qualify, but I'm not going to be so arrogant to think it'll be that easy.

13 weeks, already f'n nervous.

Good for strength? I've read scattered reviews; use it to cut, gain strength. Not many favorable reports for a bulk, but I don't want to bulk, rather aid in a recomp.
 
I've only ever heard of people getting strength out of it.

Works for me. Ordered 2 bottles, we'll see what transpires.

Wonder if it gives the debilitating back pumps like M1T used to...God that stuff was rough.
 
shouldn't be anywhere near as bad as M1T. Taurine, water, + Potassium if it becomes an issue.

I remember trying to supplement taurine & potassium by the truckload with that crap, while trying to choke down 2+ gallons of water a day.

It was probably pain from my liver & kidneys dying.

I noticed good strength gains without any bloat and/or negative sides.
 
I don't think you'll have any problem getting 1275 raw. Should be able to so that in your sleep.

293-ish. The comp being pushed back helps, but I maybe should train for the 1325 total required of the 308's. 20 pounds in 13 weeks may be pushing it, no?

Tell Shelby when your comp is. See what he has to say. Bodybuilders drop more than that from 12-16 out.

True, but their goals are aesthetic rather than power based. I've no doubt I can lose it (hell I'm sure with 13 weeks I could drop 30-32), but I want to lose it while gaining strength. That is the sticky spot.

I do know this; staying in the 308's will require an investment in 3x shirts. I put on one of my 2x UA golf shirts last night and my wife had to help me take it off. :)

I understand the fear of loss in strength. I think it'll be negligible at best since you are using trt and considering blasting orals. I'm just willing to bet he'll be able to help you gain strength while losing bf.

Just a little food for thought... On 500mg test 20mg dbol and 50mg anadrol I crushed my prs by 20+ lbs while in a 500 cal deficit.

Good point. Very good point. Maybe that's more incentive to try an oral PH; I hardly consider the TRT when I think about this...guess it's still new enough that I forget. Thanks.

I've heard of crazy ass strength off epi. Maybe someone that's had a good successful experience with it can help. Rodja mentioned its use and being great.

That's pure insanity. I can't comprehend squatting that type of weight. I'd be happy with HALF of that. Literally half.

Alright kids, this should entertain you. Story time with Uncle Grizzly Bear (lol@Sean);

New gym; I'm now a member of 4 (2 of them are the Y, so same thing, 2 locations), so I wanted to DL at the bigger Y because the have a platform. I roll in, warm up, agile 8, bike, etc. I immediately notice that this place is chock full of no-etiquette dipshyts. Leaving crap loaded, scattered, etc. Deep breath. Lets do this.

Warm up really well since it's E day, want to get reps in. Build up to my work set of 335. I was fully into my music so I didn't get the first 2 sets on video.

What'd you miss? I'll f'n tell you. This college aged kid tries to squeeze between the platform & weight tree to GET BY; not get plates, clips, or anything, it's just the shortest path from the fawking preacher curl to the bench. He does this on my 2nd rep and bumps the bar on my way up.

Kid didn't even slow down. I chucked the weight, threw my hat at his stupid ass, and advised him that his day could get better or worse depending on how close to me he came again.

I'm no bad ass, I don't look for trouble, but if I or he had gotten hurt because of laziness or carelessness, then what has anyone gained? He left, I finished, but I trained f'n angry so I overdid it in a good way. But I'm already sore. :)

To reiterate-I'm not bragging because I'm a "tough guy", because I'm not. I'm sure I could've handled it better, and hopefully this kid is more careful. Kinda feel bad now.

Anyway, here's a pic for reference. He was walking from where I'm standing, BETWEEN the plate tree & platform, to the bench behind. Really?

Agree with Sean...front squats sickness big man. On another note, I still think you need to work on your groin tightness so you can push your knees out further and drop closer to the bar for the DLs. Your back will thank you for it later. :yup:

I agree. Today my hips & groin have been unusually tight also, so that was a factor as well. I feel like about 60% of my work needs to be flexibility & mobility; I can lift, but I don't move with much fluidity.

Did the multiple angles help at all, or was it just more work on my part?
 
Multiple angles will always provide different things to watch for. Well worth the effort big man.

Cool brother. I've thought about judging but the APF says you have to lift for 5 yrs then there's an apprenticeship like period...

I may have misunderstood; I know I'll be serving an apprenticeship on my off days (if I make it) at the Worlds...that may just be the first step. I'll have to clear that up.
