Supps that have sizzled out

who remembers the popular supps that seem to have sizzled out more recently all things we've probablyy tried at some point lol

DAA
Ursolic Acid
Creatinol o Phosphate (another one i really dont hear about anymore)


What are some others i know im missing some
 
I feel like soy lecithin granules will be on this list in the future. When I used to post here it was never talked about, now I see it everywhere.

I've run through multiple containers of SL granules and got nothing out of it ive also tried king and kingv2 to no scuccess, PA just doesnt seem to do a whole lot for me.
 
Same, PA did nothing for me other than bloat me.

I don't hear anything about Amentoflavone anymore.
 
What about raspberry ketones? What happen to there studies. I remember reading a study that said it never made the test subject loee weight but there was no weight gain from over consuming tobabcertain point

I know what you mean this time last year amentoflavone was huge, i took it noticed a tad bit strength increase, its one of those things if i had unlimited funds i would add to my stack but i really need to limit how much i spend on supps.

I still take Amentomax - they usually have a great stack deal with Ergonine, so it's a cheap pick up. The biggest thing I notice from it is enhanced mood. Never got any strength increases

TTA is another one along with RK all TTA did for me was make me bloated and gave me these terrible butt cramps i never have experienced before that made it difficult to run.

nobody wants bloats and cramps so i scratched it off my list even if it is a pretty decent fat burner.

Did you use SNS TTA-500? How much did you use?

Its probably a staple, I think his point is no one ever recomends it when they are looking for a natural anabolic id be willing to bet any lay person who is new to supps would get better gains from a creatine beta-alanine stack than a epicatechin laxogenin stack.

i used the sns at 2 a day if i remember i stacked it with the RK 500 too, this was a long time ago and i dont think my diet was on point at the time and all i remember was looking like i was carrying a bit more water than usual and i was unable to play flag football due to the bad glute cramps i remember not having a great experince with it. im sure it works its just wasnt worth it for me.

certain supps like glutamine, arginine, cla, tribulus faded out a long time ago
but ur rite i dont hear a lot about testofen, also 3,4diva, fadogia, or bulbine anymore either

I think LJ100 is on the upswing though as best test boosting herb
 
I think there's a difference between what is discussed less frequently and what's grown unpopular.

Some of those things are definitely not very popular any more (variations of creatine, ursolic acid, etc.), but many (like beta alanine) are still widely used; it's just common. Kind of like protein. When there are enough studies to back something up, you don't really need to even question if it's worth using anymore. And CoP is one I think many recognize is a worthwhile product, it's just not as exciting anymore, so everyone is just ready to talk about the next thing that's going to be bigger than anything else.

How are you judging if they "sizzled out" or not?. Supplements popular here on AM aren't nearly as popular or at all popular elsewhere. Just because it's popular on here though doesn't mean much. It could just be the hype of the month.

Im talking about on here at AM what doesnt seem to be as popular as it once was due to new studies, word of mouth or just the hype died down.
also as midwest beast says there is a difference between what is discussed less frequently and whats grown unpopular and i thought it would make a good debate i didnt mean to offend you with my sample size list lol

I had to go high (4 tbsp +) and ran it for a few months. End result was NICE. King is underdosed so I don't count that : )
 
in terms of actual sizzled out supps, I would include many of the earlier preworkouts. So many come out that it's easy to get lost

i went through like 10 containers of fear SL, i used 4-6 tbsp a day and noticed nothing out of the ordinary while taking it. wasnt bad tasting i kind of liked it in my shakes but i just felt no benefit personally not saying it doesnt work just im done trying it out.

Fair enough. You gave it a good try.

I've been thinking about posting my before/after shots from my PA run but the before pics are pretty embarrassing lol. I was coming off of two injuries that kept me out of the gym for like 11 months. Then I got a few months back in before I hit my PA run.

You were strarting fresh again lol you wouldve made decent gains none the less but i know when somethings working or not. X-gels always gives me great gains i went right from the SL granules to an x-gel anabeta elite stack and had great gains from it.

True to an extent.

I had about 3 months of light/moderate working out followed by 2-2.5 months of heavy workouts, then a run with PA.

I've been in that position before and I feel the recomp effects I got were well beyond what I would have expected without it. I lost at least 3% bf + gained sizable muscle.

I went from what I would call "out of shape" to swimsuit ready inside of 3 months.

That said, I certainly respect your opinion on it. I wish I could run ArA but the inflammatory nature of it keeps me away.

Ill tell you what i am having phenomenal results with though is my OL Ostar1ne, Formeron run im 4-5 weeks in and im swimsuit ready too lol

Glad to hear Ostar1ne is treating you well man. I've gotten some feedback from a couple people who are well versed in contest prep and they have compared Osta combos like what you are running to light Anavar cycles.

Formeron got me shredded last year. R.I.P.

I wouldn't say King is underdosed. Well not V1 anyway. The 750mg is what was studied so its what most companies use.

I like COP as well. Most of these things that are being said to have fizzled out are things that people take in regularly. Not much reason to talk about something you take on a regular basis.
