Supplements on Vacation

I’m going on vacation to the beach in 3 weeks. I doubt I’ll find a gym to workout I’ll only be there 10 days. I’m thinking about taking my supplements I usually do. I’m taking Basis, Lean Edge, M-Test, and Anabolic Effect. Do you guys still take your supplements on vacation. I’ll take at least my Myogenix Myovyte, fish oils, Cissus, Magnesium etc.

Go ahead and continue taking those on vacation unless it’s something you take for pre workout benefits then there’s no real point to take it if you won’t work out.

What is anabolic edge? I’ve never heard of that supplement.

I like to continue with most of my supplements on vacation. The bulk of supplements are the most effective with regular use so I believe it makes the most sense to continue with use even while away from the gym for a week. Occasionally I'll use a half dose of something just so that it's still in my system while I'm away from the weights. I try to make a point to utilize supplements that help to repartition the excess calories away from my body's fat stores given the dramatically increased calories and lower quality foods I tend to eat on vacation.

I continue but back wisely. Smaller bottles, sample packs, etc. I also find vacations are a good time to “commit” to one thing and see if it really works.

With your current post that’s at least 8 bottles to pack, oftentimes I skip the multivitamin and just find Vitamin Water, etc while I’m out.

I usually bring something like Kanna that makes the plane rides more enjoyable. YMMV but I’m imagining my last trip to Tulum.

While not listed in your post, I’d also highly recommend any loose or opened powders go in checked luggage, getting flagged for nitrates is not fun even if they’re a legal dietary supplement!

Check out the 3 a day organizers on Amazon. I preload those already. So if I go on vacation they just come along. No need to pack bottles, etc...and I can bring everything with me. No breaks in supplementation. 👍

To get around hauling around 10-15 bottles if not more (I take way too much ****) I like to portion out everything into labelled ziploc bags. I put my AM stuff in individually labelled bags, pre-dinner stuff, dinner stuff, bedtime stuff etc. and this tremendously cuts down on the space requirements in my luggage.

Nope I plan my off week around my vacation, it’s a week or so off from the gym and all supplements
Same here. I rarely go on vacation (maybe once at most twice a year) and I use that week or two to give my body a break from working out and supplementation.

He meant Anabolic Effect. I saw that he edited it and changed it to say Anabolic Effect.

I always take them with me because I don't want to have to start things over and have them have to get built back up in my system again when I get back.

I use these: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09NM582GR?ref_=ppx_hzsearch_conn_dt_b_fed_asin_title_4&th=1

One color container for morning, a different color for night - and you can put 9 days worth in them.

Maybe all even creatine. You guys are right I don’t want to have to have it build up in my system again. Didn’t think of it that way, and I’m on a good Anabolic Effect run too.

When I went away for 2 weeks, I didn’t have gym access either, but I still brought a few essentials—magnesium, fish oil, and something new I was trying out from secrets.shop, a Butea Superba tincture. Didn’t expect much but it actually helped me feel more “on” during the day, even without workouts. I think keeping up with the basics is smart—vacation or not, your body still runs on what you feed it.
