When on cycle I'm putting in about 3000 clean cals a day, and about 500-1000 of some not so good food. Some fat is good believe it or not! But dont eat a McD's 5 times a day! I'll add peanut butter and some ice creame to my mass gainer shake some days, or have brkfst at Denny's and when I order my grand slam it's oatmeal, bacon and the 6 eggwhites scrambled.
PH's need fuel for them to work. It's just a body activating catalist, and don't be scared to hit the gym with HIGH intensity. My theory on cycle is if it don't hurt for a day or two after a workout/bodypart, your doing it wrong.
