Subcutaneous Water

Well-known member
I'm looking for something supplement wise, other than just dandelion root extract, to get rid of some subcutaneous water.
Appreciate any help here.

You will have better luck addressing what's causing the water retention. Taking a Diuretic is like a quick fix that only lasts for a few hours

I've already reduced sodium, increased magnesium and potassium and am drinking more plain water.

Ok, none of those things are obvious the problem nor are they addressingthecroot problem. Do you have high bp, what are you taking, what does your diet look like.

I recently lost 33lbs of water in 3-4 days with an IV of Bumex, but I don't think you want to go that route !!! :ROFLMAO:

Blood pressure is in the normal to upper low range.
Diet is high protein, medium fat and low carb.

It may sound crazy, but cut the whey protein, creatine and orange triad for about a week and see what happens.

how long have you had the water, also has anything changed in your diet regarding specific foods even if macros never swayed?

Somebody did mention that it might be the creatine mono, is there a form/type of creatine that I could take that wouldn't make my skin hold water?

I did a hard cut and lost 9% bodyfat between November and February and other than the things I listed above (increased magnesium, reduced sodium, more water etc), nothing much has changed macro wise

Creatine Monohydrate makes me hold so much water that it makes me miserable; I won't take it anymore and won't even take anything with even small amounts added to it.

Magnesium Creatine Chelate (Creatine Magnapower) and Creatine HCI are both great options for people that have digestive issues and hold fluid weight from monohydrate.

We are out of Magnesium Creatine Chelate right now because the price of it went insane when Creatine went up; it cost so much that we let ourselves run out bc no one would have bought it at that price. The prices have come down some now and we do have some in production now.

For Creatine HCI, we have capsules and powder and a lot of people love the new flavors we've introduced in the powder.

Creatine HCI Caps:

Creatine HCI Powder - 150 Servings - Blue Raspberry Popsicle, Lemon Lime, Pink Grapefruit, Watermelon Breeze

Creatine HCI Powder - 4 pack - 1 bottle of each flavor:

@sns8778 has some different type(s?) of creatine in their catalog.

Thank you for tagging me.

I think the magnesium creatine is gone right now, I don’t remember. Creatine HCl is available in caps or a few new flavors of powders.

Thanks. And yeah, MCC is out of stock right now because the cost of the raws had went up insanely at one point. They've come back down and we do have the unflavored in production now and will be adding a couple of flavors to it down the line.

Which do you find better in terms of holding less water, HCL or MCC?

I don't hold fluid with either of them so I think you're good to go either way.

I doubt you can find our MCC powder anywhere right now, so I think that our Creatine HCI is the best bet for now anyway.

There are several people on here that had given up on creatine monohydrate that love our Creatine HCI.

I hope that he doesn't mind me tagging him, but @Hyde didn't use monohydrate because he didn't respond well to it and loves our Creatine HCI powder and has mentioned it in some threads and how much he likes it and also how much he likes the Pink Grapefruit flavor.
