Subcutaneous Testosterone Injections Study

I don't know.. It's probably just a good idea for one of our more knowledgable guys here to chime in on whether or not it's actually a "very" bad idea like I've been told.. So far, I'm not having any problems but it's not even been 24 hours yet...

Better safe than sorry...

P.S. People are figuring I'm going to get an absess or infection...

Hmmm...I don't think you can get an absess from a sub-q injection. I think that's only with IM shots. Infection is possible, but no more likely with either of them as long as all precautions are taken.

Anyway, I didn't get a chance to do my shot last night. Got home from work very late and was exhausted. I wasn't due for my next IM until Sunday.
 
Well. Nothing out of the ordinary yet.. The surrounding area was a tiny bit pink at around 2am and it's about the same this morning.. Otherwise, nothing to report..
 
I don't know what ghrelin is.. I'll go look it up now.. As for the oil-based Sustanon injection, don't do it. Not until somebody here with a lot of knowledge gives you the go ahead. That's really what I'm waiting for here. I'm not going to do it again until I hear that I shouldn't "expect" problems from doing so. I've already done the deed - so what's done is done and I'll report back with results. On the other hand, you're still considering this and I'm surprised that nobody's either given you the go ahead or put up a stop sign for the sake of your well-being...
 
Ghrelin is a GH releaser and appetite stim. I'm using it for the later. There's a thread in the IGF section titled "ghrelin 101" that I've been posting in.

If nobody's said yes or no to the sub-q shots by Sunday, I'll be going with it then.
 
Well.. Is it true that most absess' form from oil leaking out of the muscle after an IM injection? Or is it only when there's a reason for an infection being present?

I think (don't quote me) that it's only if there's something causing an infection (dirty needle, injection site, dirty gear, etc...). None of the doctors or researchers mentioned in the begining of the thread talked about an increased risk if infections from this. I've done GH and insulin shots more times than I can count over the years with no probs. Even if you did get an infection under the skin, they are MUCH easier to take care, and much less dangerous then in your muscle.

If anything, I think we're safer doing sub-q than IM. The only question for me is if it will work or not. The research in the begining here seemd to say it does.


Looks like nothing but pros and no cons to me.

Its not a very bad idea, but I am not saying nothing is going to happen, doing an IM injection without aspirating would be a very bad idea.
Dr. Shippen does SubQ, and I havent heard of anything bad about it yet.

My mate had an abcess and it was under his arm so I dont think it was from his muscle, but his skin, he had it cut out, I would think abscesses are more common in the skin then the muscle. I am pretty sure it is only from an infection, I think most guys who get abscesses from AAS are the ones who buy fake gear wich obviously wouldnt be sterile.


I would love to do like 10mg of sus subq every morning before getting out of bed, would sure beat a morning coffee or apple.
 
I guess there's nothing to worry about unless Dr. Shippen is using some type of different Enanthate.. Maybe something specifically made for subcutaneous injections.. Since I doubt that, then I agree with Crunch that it's probably all pros over cons... We'll just have to wait and see if it actually works - just to prove it to ourselves...

That's pretty much how everything in our world has been discoverd/figured out. Us guinea pigs! Then the researchers of the world see it and announce their "discoveries", things we've been doing for 10 years!

At least this time it was a doctor that maybe found us something new!
 
I've been reading about this stuff ALL day today. I just noticed something I hadn't noticed before.. It appears as if Dr. Shippen's patient is actually injecting subcutaneously TWICE per day, every 3 days..

Would one assume that these injections are spaced-apart 12 hours? Or done simultaneously?

I remember reading that, I would imagine its simultaniously, I think with every day injections it wouldnt be a problem as your using an even smaller dose.

I dont see how doing T,HCG,HCG,T,HCG,HCG,T,etc would have any cons over doing T every day with HCG M,W,F
 
If one is to do two subcutaneous Cypionate injections daily, it seems very likely to run out of injection spots..

Can anyone provide any advice here?
 
You would be doing 1 daily, the reason they were using 2 injections every 3 days was because the dose was too big.

That sounds reasonable but if both injections were done simultaneously, how would that be the case? I know it's unclear but maybe they did the injections once every 36 hours to make for the total every 3 days?
 
Then it would be one injection every 1 and a half days, but its 2 injections every 3 days so it wouldnt drip out because there was too much oil per spot, I am asuming that the person is doing 1 injection right after the other.
 
Well the study seemed ok on weekly injections, I guess it depends on the individual.
But I think if your gonna go SubQ you might aswell inject every day and I think sustanon would be a better option over enanthate or cyp, but test prop would be even better.
 
The only test prop in australia is for veternary use in sheep, but organon has it under Neo-Hombreol in Holland, I have seen other companies listed as having it such as Steris in the U.S, but nothing turned up on there website.
I think Rugby Labs in NY make it for Watson pharmaceuticals.
 
If it's okay to do a half ML every 3 days than I'd prefer going that route. One injection every 3 days.. And I think you're right about the Sustanon... That makes lots of sense.. I actually have 5 MLs of Sustanon that expired in November... Bad idea? :o
 
If your gonna do every 3 days without HCG inbetween you might be better with primo, but with hcg inbetween sus might be the better option. 2 esters(90mg/250mg) in sus are fast acting, half-life of prop is like 24 hours(not 3 days).
I would chuck it out, stuff is usually good for 1-2 months after the exp date but more then that would be pushing it I think.
 
Okay, I'm in. I read the study's and just did my first .5 cc of Cyp. I used a 22g needle, but I'll pick of some smaller ones this week. I put it to the side of my abdomen, in an area without much fat...it was absorbed almost immediately. No irritation, no lump... I'll be doing a couple of blood panels over the next two months. If this is effective...I'm so sold and so happy about it!

No more walking funny or limping with a big knot in my thigh or ass!
 
Almost 48 hours later for me.. My wife did slap me in the stomach last night and it hurt - but nothing out of the ordinary of an IM shot.. The area is still lightly pink and spread-out a tiny bit more - but no other complications.. So.. So far, so good (I think).

Elsewhere, where I'm having this discussion - it appears people are VERY, VERY...... VERY convinced that this is going to cause an absess (sp?) because of possibly injecting too much oil into one spot. .5cc is probably the high-limit. This is probably an unstated reason why Dr. Shippen is using .35ml injections...

I think that if we're (me, CRUNCH and hotspot) going to follow through with this experiment - that we should follow Dr. Shippen's lead and continue with 2 .35ml (cc) injections every 3 days. If not for anything but to be safe...
 
Okay, I'm thinking maybe the eth used in the study has a lighter oil or something. I'm 48 hrs. after my first subq shot and no thanks! I have a lump like a bee sting that is very sore. Its not an absess but it definitely hurts. Unless I can get a lighter oil or something...I'm going back to IM.

If somebody has an idea...I'm listening!
 
Did my first about 3 hours ago. One ml into the skin on the top of each thigh. Had a little lump for about 15 minutes, absolutely nothing ever sinse. Can't even tell where I did it anymore.

We'll see if it gets red and sore in the coming hours.

Sorry to hear yours is sore HOTSPOT. From the sounds of it I may be in the same boat soon. But I just gotta find out for myself!
 
Crunch.. You put ONE FULL milliliter into EACH thigh?! Or 1 milliliter total putting .50ml in each?

The .50ml I shot about an inch above my navel seems to be fine. The pinkness is going away. This is the third day now.. The day after, it was a little pink and a touch warm - but nothing out of the ordinary to me.. The next day, it was a little sore and the pinkness spread out a bit. So this looks to have gone well for me..

I'd like to wait and see what more people say before I go ahead and do two more shots at about .35ml each...
 
Well if you do it again and its pink again I dont know if it would be a good idea to continue it in that area, like it will probly do some damage in the long run if it keeps going pink.

I would try a diffrent area.
 
What does the pinkness indicate? I think the area has been a touch itchy as well - but that may just be in my mind...

I planned on finding several different areas to inject.. Maybe an inch or two apart in 8 or 9 different spots on my stomach.. Say 3 on each side and 2 in the middle. And then use my upper thighs, maybe 3 or 4 spots on each thigh.. I should have enough spots to rotate fairly well..

At any cost, it's not so great to hear/see HotSpots negative experience.. That has me on hold until I hear some more positives...

If it weren't for some people being so sure of abcesses as a result of oil injections subcutaneously, I'd probably think nothing of it and do my two next shots right now...
 
I did one full ml. It's been about 5 hours or so and still nothing. Not sore, not pink or red. I had a 21g needle also and that was fine. They're 1.5 inches but I only went about 1/2 way in, got very little coming back out. One little drop about the size of a pin head and about the same for blood.

I'm not going to do my ab area as I save that for the GH.

If the thighs keep doing well, I may try the skin over my pecs or shins.
 
If your getting pinkness on ur stomach you should try a totally diffrent area. It could be nerve iritation but thats just a guess, and you dont wanna be damaging nerves.
 
why isnt anyone doing this with test suspension like i mentioned it would be way more suited being thats its water based.

Because I don't have any suspension. I do have sust, and many of the studies were using oil based so a few of us wanted to see how it would work.

It's the next day after my shots. Aside from the area feeling like a small bruise, nothing else bad. No redness or swelling. So far, so good for me.
 
I think I'll try a couple of .25ml shots in my stomach today and see how that goes.. The first .50ml shot is doing fine...

how to laod the needlee because of it being so small and also test results from using this method any one getting absorption or having bumps under there skin from the oil? Would bumps not just get absorbed into the blood stream and just be stored in fat cells?

I started doing this because of what Shippen is doing been at it over a yr. Here is what I found doing the depo T shots subQ in my belly skin it stings and burns for hrs. alter. I don't feel the shot like I do IM and also don't feel my HCG shots doing them subQ. So I started doing my shots as per my Dr. using a 27g 1ml x 1/2" lg. needle into my thigh. I do 50mgs of Depo T every 3 days and 250 IU's of HCG the 2 days each in between. Using the 27g needle my levels of Total and Free T stayed the same I did this subQ for a good 8 weeks the went to the thigh. I feel I get the same results as Shippen gets doing this subQ. I have not problem getting the .25mls of 200mgs/ml of Depo out of the vile into the needle. I pull the plunger all the way down and hold it. It takea about a min. to get .25ml of Deop T out of the vile. I then just shoot into my thigh. Doing my Depo T shot in the morning subQ I don't feel it until that night and it keeps me up. Also I don't get the feeling of well being from my HCG shots doing them subQ.
 
micronized shot suspension mixed in methyl b-12 works great for subq. a shot 1hr bef workout is awesome. i dunno if there es more e2 conv shooting in the fat... i don't get more bloat than from the im... again though, my dose is tiny (15mg). you can use a slin pin for these sub-q shots. you can get thicher gear in the slin pin by pulling out the plunder, and then big needle into open barrel of slin pin. the smaller guage will help prevent leakage.
